Just as an FYI for anyone that is not watching......Brandi is kicking some serious ass on Celebrity Apprentice. She is the gal we all remember from S2. Go figure.

I fear for my mental health because this bothers me waaaaay more than it should.

Backing her every step of the way, consoling her, fighting her battles, feeling sorry for her.

didn't see much of a difference between Manhattan Bonanza and Manhattan Mardi
Gras which was Brandi's big contribution to nix Mardi Gras.  To me a Bonaza
is usually associated with a sale on something not an event.  Contrary to
what Brandi may feel cities everywhere have Mardi Gras, Carnival or other
festivals.  Let's not forget during this taping Brandi had her children
visiting and she made quite a big deal over her son having to travel by
ambulance to the hospital for an allergic reaction.  So I think she was
pulling some behind the scenes sympathy strings.

I didn't like her Season 2. But I do believe she is in a position to do well on CA primarily because Kenya puts herself front and center in every single challenge.

When Brandi game into Game Night to me she was very assertive to the point of aggressive about being the center of attention.  Knowing what a mean streak Kim Richards has sober or impaired I saw the a battle of the mean girls about to come down between Brandi and Kim.  It is funny now Brandi is all over Kyle for not being there for Kim but Game Night she was all over Kyle for being there for Kim.  Obviously once Brandi let the crystal meth comment fly she knew it was on  and she hasn't backed down since. 

 

So I am left scratching my head, at the beginning of the season Brandi said she had been ex-communicated from this group of women.  Yet, some eight weeks later she is the one that has been there for Kim for the previous six months?  I think Brandi is trying to recreate the underdog environment in hopes of restoring her previous popularity.  It just seems she is trying this Harper Valley PTA call out and it just isn't working.  Kyle is a bad sister, Lisa wasn't a good friend, Eileen is a boring adulterer, Yolanda isn't allowed to mother her (although last year Brandi praised Yolanda for being the same on screen as off screen), so essentially she is stuck with Kim and Kim seems to be developing her own enemies, in the Lisas and Eileen.

Me, too.  And I appreciated that she helped expose, for me, the bitch that I always knew Kyle to be.  When she went skittering over to the other hens on the sofa to make fun of Brandi for her high heel and crutches within Brandi's earshot.  I remember feeling like that was the bitchiest thing I'd seen any of the Hos do.  Up until that point.

 

Brandi has, far and well, exceeded that point but it doesn't make Kyle's inherent bitchiness any less for me.

I disagree that it was wrong for Brandi to give her comments at the reunion. IMO that's one of the things they're paid for. Andy deliberately asks the women about their take on this and that. InTaylor's case I thought it was rich of her to say that it wasn't Brandi's place to discuss these topics even though Taylor had put them in a book for public consumption. TBH I didn't even see Brandi going for the jugular when I consider all of the things she could have said. Those comments were drops in the ocean compared to what was being written online at the time.

As for Claudia vs. NeNe--NeNe has had it coming for so long that I don't blame people for cheering it on. Doesn't mean I don't see through Claudia. But NeNe deserves absolutely zero sympathy as far as I'm concerned. NeNe is one of those Housewives where I struggle to find even one redeeming quality about her. I just think she's awful and it's because of her that I'm only a casual viewer of Atlanta.

Yes, sadly I was one of those cheering on her "honesty" in the early days. However, now it is clear iit was just the tip of the iceberg on the horrid bitch that is Brandi.

 

As for Claudia, I don't like her one bit, and I agree she is probably an awful person. However, that does not stop me from enjoying every second of watching her go after Nene. Nene is a horrible human being with such delusions, I just can't. Bitch carries on like she an actual actress. Bitch, please.

 

I don't care much for Atlanta any more. There has to be at least one or two Ho's I either like or enjoy watching. New Jersey jumped that shark a couple seasons back and now it's Atlanta. 

 

However, I am feeling fairly optimistic about  BH. I am loving Eileen and Lisa R. I still sort of like Lisa V, although not as much as before, but I love Giggy. I have always been 'meh" on Kyle - although I am firmly team Kyle in the current dust up. I find Yolanda a snooze, but I am in love with her house. Hell, I'm in love with her Fridge. If they would just dump Brandi the Skank, I think it might move up to my favorite.

I wouldn't say she is kicking ass. She is staying under the Radar, which for the skank is an accomplishement, but not exactly kicking ass, IMO. Of course Trump and the men like her she plays the victim card really well. The one I can't figure out, that actually seems to like her is Leeza Gibbons, but I guess it's the same way she won over Lisa V and Yolanda. Of the men the only one that seems to see through her is Ian. Excuse me EYEON.  He's a horses ass, but I will give him credit for having Brandi's number.

 

The thing on CA is that Kenya is coming across really awful. Smarter than Brandi still, but that's not exactly a high bar. However, since Kenya is acting so bad, I think Brandi looks almost well.....decent. Except she still can't get through a TH without 10 bleeps.

Andy talked about Brandi being attacked on social media in tonight's WWHL After Show, and how he advised her to avoid Twitter and focus on her family. He seemed pretty sympathetic. Apparently she goes pretty far in Celebrity Apprentice and what with the high ratings for that show, plus tugging on ole Andy's heart strings, this may not be the last season for this nutjob after all...ugh.

Great, so of course Andy is going to have sympathy for this woman. I can't even. She's had it coming in terms of social media and gives as good as she gets so why should I feel sorry for her now?

I think it's because she cries. For whatever reason Andy and Donald seem to respond to a woman being upset and acting vulnerable. Even though it's a complete act by the non-actress Brandi they fall for it.

 

Brandi can be in a fight and hurling insults but the second someone fights back the tears flow and it's over. She's perfected this. Someone like Kenya doesn't cry or show weakness after a Brandi insult. She just gets dirtier and nastier with her return insult. That's why Brandi is looking "better" on Celebrity Apprentice to some.

 

Brandi's having a more difficult time on RHoBH because she's trying to play wounded bird with Lisa V but Lisa isn't playing that with her. "I'm so upset you won't be my friend! Love me again!" Lisa is being polite to her and not engaging. It's the only way to handle her.

Brandi is doing great on CA.  She has spoken up a lot and has contributed in each challenge.  In the Chock full of Nuts Challenge, the company tweeted her the next day about her suggestions to Ian, which he had disregarded, telling her that she was exactly on point.  Kenya has shown herself to be underhanded and sneaky, texting behind Vivica's back - and she'll probably get fired for it in the next show or two.  

 

Brandi has worked well with Kenya in challenges for the most part - especially when Kenya was PM and when Brandi was PM. She even let Kenya sing "Gone with the Wind Fabulous." when she was PM.  Brandi has made snide remarks (it is Brandi after all) about Kenya's butt - which Kenya called her out for in the Boardroom - smart move on Kenya's part. The next time Kenya tried to get back at Brandi in the boardroom for saying something snarky during a faux fight about dragging Kenya like Porsha did, instead of just saying that Brandi said that, Kenya just said "I know why Eddie left her for someone younger and more beautiful."  Dumb move by Kenya because everyone but Kate Gosselin was offended by the comment.  Brandi didn't cry or act like a victim.  She calmly told Kenya that she was attacking her right then. She did have one anxiety attack where she left during a fundraiser challenge, but she still was able to raise $40,000 (thanks Carlton! lol).

 

The Brandi on CA is in stark contrast to the Brandi we see here.  She still has a mouth on her.  Kenya while shrewder has made some real rookie mistakes surprisingly.  Twerking on the deck with kids present, going after Vivica in tweets and throwing her under the bus to Kate, insulting Brandi in the boardroom (as opposed to outside of it).  Just so uncharacteristic of Kenya who is much less impulsive than Brandi.

 

It does make you wonder why Brandi is so off the rails on BH.  Is it the alcohol?  Are there contractual, financial incentives?  Sobriety looks good on Brandi.  She should try it more often.  

 

Brandi didn't tweet anything last night about this show.  She did tweet about podcast awards and to vote for her and about her CA blog and about Buddy ripping apart his pee pee pad.

Let's face it Brandi can have a great Monday night on Celebrity Apprentice come Tuesday night she usually screws up and any forward momentum is stalled.  Celebrity Apprentice has two more weeks and then a live performance.  It should be interesting to see where she stands when it goes live.  If she needs attention I am sure she will act up.

Regarding Celebrity Apprentice

It's rumored Brandi comes in fourth. She's tight with Leeza Gibbons so it very well could be. Leeza and Viveca Fox are rumored to be the finalists

She's a different person on CA because there's not a drink in her hand 24/7. She's had a couple of anxiety episodes where she disappears for a time, no telling what she does during that off-time.

Brandi had to have been drinking before Kyle showed up to her house. I can almost swear to that and not be speculating.

 

Also, there is a distance between Brandi's home and Malibu where Eileen lives. Going from the rentals in the boonies where Brandi lives to the PCH probably took about an hour. What else would Brandi do in that car ride but drink.

 

As for Donald Trump, he fired Khloe Kardashian when he found out she had a DUI under her belt. She had to miss a project so she could attend a mandatory DUI class. When he found out why she had to miss the project, he fired her. He mentioned something about not condoning those who drink and drive. Brandi has a DUI under her belt.

I think that's the mitigating factor at work here.  No, I've never seen any of the CA participants ever drinking, aside from the celebratory champagne when they win a challenge or when they first arrive.

 

I personally think Trump would bounce anyone immediately out of that boardroom if there were any question of substance abuse.

 

Evil troll of a human being that I am, though, I'd be a dirty liar if I didn't say I wondered if Brandi's need for a few drinks were what caused her "anxiety attack" a couple of episodes ago.  

 

I posted the following in Brandi's thread in Celebrity Apprentice. 

 

I watch RHoBH, and it's not going unnoticed that Brandi not only acts much better on this show, but dresses better with nicer hair and makeup.  Of course some of it's editing when it comes to behavior, but I thought Brandi was a total asshole when she started real housewives, and she was getting the greatest edit back then.  My own nonprofessional opinion, is Brandi is not only separated from her beloved alcohol most of the time, she is also kept focused in a structured environment. Not all her despicable behavior is caused by alcohol, but I think it definitely contributes.    She also acknowledges that she doesn't handle being away from her children fifty percent of the time very well, and overcompensates with great deals of liquor. Combine that with living in an unstructured environment,  where her only focus is not losing a good paying gig by stirring up drama, and she's just a messy wasteland.

Celebrity Apprentice is not getting good ratings. It was last in its time slot even coming in behind Fox-it is never good when one of the big three comes in behind Fox . I don't think Brandi has many options.
