Loved Summer/Sharon all hugging and in their scenes her being happy for Summer. Writers seem to remember Sharon was like a mother to her and was there for her during the last wedding process. Even if others didn't approve, Sharon supported her choices which was nice for Summer to ask her if she really was happy for her and Luca in the episode.

Is Dylan the only one with half a brain? That can realize Chelsea is the mystery woman? Chelsea really thinks Chloe isn't the one who helped frame Adam, she's stupid. Adam and Dylan are the only smart people on this show.

Now that is how Sharon always was with Summer she would never have done anything to hurt her and she never blamed Summer for what Phyllis and Nick did.  Yet they blamed Sharon for switching the paternity results something she would never have done.

Yes it would appear that only Dylan and Adam have any brains the rest are as dumb as Dummer.

Okay, I just caught up on more than two weeks of episodes.  Wowza, Dummer is dumb.

So Meredith's father was the judge and let Prick off to protect his daughter?  WTF.  At least that is better than a judge actually believing his lies.  Sort of.

Will the missing pages also reveal that Adam is Sully's Dad?

Is Prick going to frame Puka for the forgery and kill two oily birds with one stone?

And I see Drinki truly is a Stepford Wife, after all.  I was hoping that she was faking.

Nikki gets worse by the episode, walking into Sharon's house and saying that she should keep better tabs on her husband. Then attacking Sharon for saying Adam is innocent.  Then she's blaming Sharon for Victor and Dylan fighting. Sharon's right, Nikki's the one who needs medication.

Billy giving Jack advice to stop stifling ~free spirit~ Phyllis and Phyllis telling Vic to basically go back to Billy but "without lies" made me want to puke.

And then Phyllis all "be happy, Billy, I want everyone to be happy" but awwww she can't be happy! She has to sacrifice her love for Billy!

The reveal of all this can't come soon enough. Jack needs to be freed from this hellish quad.

Ugh, my recap just disappeared on me. Now you guys get the crappy version because I'm pissed and tired. Sorry. Blame this stupid site.

Adam is mad at Chelsea for bringing Connor to the jail and tells her never to do that again, despite admitting he was happy to see Connor and it was what he needed. Chelsea goes home and cries to Chloe who says maybe she made a mistake. When pressed by Chelsea to clarify what she means, she says maybe she made a mistake coming to GC and she should just pack up her things and Bella and leave. She then says she needs to go pick up Bella.

Adam is having lame dreams about Connor and Chelsea. It's 20 years later and he's being released from jail. Connor goes to get him and says he hates Adam. Adam goes to the Penthouse and finds Chelsea in a bed in the middle of the living room. When Adam asks why Chelsea isn't in the hospital, Connor says that she wanted to die at home. And a second later, she does. It is by far, the worst line delivery ever. This actor makes kid Connor look like a Thespian. I don't know where they found him but he's embarrassingly bad. I had to look away.  Later, old Adam is at Newman and tells Victor's portrait he hopes he's burning in hell.

Nikki comes over to the cottage and tells Sharon she needs to keep better tabs on her husband. She blames Sharon for Dullen's suspension saying that Sharon must be pushing Dullen to get Adam out of jail. Why would Sharon be doing this? Would not Chelsea, Adam's wife, be the one pushing Dullen to find out the truth? Shut up, Nikki, you're drunk. Dullen comes home and tells Nikki Paul was right to suspend him and he's giving up. Dullen later confirms to Sharon that he has not given up and thinks he might have found a way to clear Adam.

Chloe shows up at Newman and hands over the journal pages which she had hidden all along behind Victor's portrait.

Welcome back, Banana! Does this mean you're back to recapping?

I still have to watch today's episode but it sounds like a doozy, Artsda.

Jewel, you are doing an amazing job of recapping.  You helped me catch up on more than three weeks!

Here's the deal, when I stop watching for a while, like lately, I cannot bring myself to even care, let alone recap. If I watch more regularly, maybe I can get back into it, but I cannot promise.  I will let you know though.

Watching the last few weeks in a binge watch, I have noticed that the pace has changed a lot.  But right now I cannot get past Stepford Drinki, Prick being free, and the dumbness of Dummer.

Well shallow soul that I am, I'm enjoying Show more overall. Mine is not to question why...

The [perhaps--ah, B & B uses exteriors--how hard or $ is it?] new breezy park with better prop-signs? I'm good with it. Nikki back in self-delusionland? C'mon, you know we're being set up here, and MTS is selling it. Plus, she's working the black-and-white ensemble, and her hair is very nice. I don't ask for much more, really. And she gave Sharon Case something to play against, so that was a bit better.

Adam? His flash-forward fantasy? First, I've never cared about the character, so I don't get too wrought up. And, yeah, of course it was predictable as hell. But, I remind you, my expectations are very low. It was pure studio-era corn, and they did a soapy-good job with it. With perhaps the exception of MCE attempting the noble Olivia de Havilland-with-powdered-hair-and-face suffering. But, ah, it made a change at least, heavy-handed as it was.

Mal, though, just a note here. Have the props people splurge on a jar of silver cleaner. That coffee set in the GCAC that's used to get foreground depth? It's tarnished and furry with dust.

It disappeared again. Grrrr.

Nick is back and he and Phyllis and Victor are discussing Summer. Nick says he didn't find anything in Newfoundland linking Luca to the oils spills, but he did find evidence linking Travis to them. They all agree that Luca took their bait. Victor's plan is to get Travis to come back to town and tell Summer he is innocent. It seems like a real simple plan to me, but alas.

Nick goes to visit Victoria and try to convince her to call Travis and explain the situation and get him to come to town. Victoria is reluctant and doesn't want to make Travis come back to this B.S.

Luca and Summer are discussing the wedding and Luca wants to have it at the top of the tower. Summer isn't into that idea since Abby already got married there but Luca is being persistent. She asks him why he's pushing this and he says this would prove to him that Victor is behind the wedding. She finally agrees to go talk to gwandpa about reserving the top of the tower for next Friday. I wonder how Chelsea feels about having less that two weeks to design Summer's dress?

Summer walks in on Phyllis and Victor talking and asks them point blank if they are trying to stop her wedding to Luca.

Meanwhile, Luca Skypes Travis, who is looking mighty fine btw, and tells him that everyone believes he is behind the oil spill. Travis says he wonders who they got that idea from? Wow, I missed Travis. And he looks great on his boat. Anyway, Travis insists Victoria would never believe that and Luca says that Victoria is back with her ex, Billy. Shut up, Luca.

Adam and Chelsea are both fantasying and remembering and dreaming and it's lame and I don't care. Chloe, who actually turned in the papers to Victor despite hating the fact that Adam will be free, shows up and sees Chelsea crying. She almost spills the beans but then covers by saying she lied about forgiving Adam and there is a part of her that still has hate in her heart for Adam.

Also, Nikki was visiting with Victoria earlier and Victoria admitted she wished Victor had fought for her to stay at Newman even though she insists she would have left anyway. Nikki is still drinking the koolaid and I sort of tuned out.

Previews show the mansion and it's finally yellow.

Summer walks in on Phyllis and Victor conspiring against her and Luca and is rightfully upset. They both tell her that she’s SMART yo! and they just want to protect her and not see her get hurt. They admit their plan and that they are indeed trying to break up the engagement. Summer says she forgot what a good liar Phyllis could be and brings up the fact that Phyllis was crying and acting so happy during the dress shopping. Phyllis says that she wasn’t faking, and she does want to see Summer wear a wedding dress and walk down the aisle, just not with Luca. Nick shows up at one point, too, and Summer at first thinks Nick isn’t aware of what’s going on but a second later she realizes he is also in on the plan. This whole exchange goes on far longer than I would have liked and I tuned out a little while watching.  Summer storms out, and everyone admits that did not go well and Summer will only be more determined than ever to be with Luca and prove his innocence.

Nick is with Victoria and finally convinces her to talk to Travis and try and convince him to come back to GC and refute the allegations that he was behind the oil spills. Nick goes out into the lab area to give Vicky some privacy as she calls Travis. He’s still looking fine, btw, in case you were all wondering. However, Travis says that he doesn’t want to come back to GC and deal with the Santoris of the world. And then he brings up Billy to Victoria. Victoria is surprised at first and tries to tell Travis that she and Billy are NOT together but he closes their skype connection. Why would Victoria want a ventriloquist dummy when she could have a God? Come back, Travis!

Bethany gets an envelope with her name on it left at the bar. She opens it to find a key. She goes to the bus station and opens up a locker and discovers a duffle bag with a shitload of money in it (a million dollars to be exact), a passport, and a note saying to leave town now.

Billy is at the Chancellor Estate and it is back to its previous glory. It’s not only yellow but I think it’s the exact same colors and décor it was originally. It’s been awhile though so maybe someone with a better attention span/memory can confirm this. The wallpaper over the staircase seems to be the same at least. Billy isn’t thrilled and says it doesn’t feel like his home and Jill reminds him that it’s not his home. Billy asks if he’s being thrown out and Jill says no, but he needs to find the place that was always a home to him, a safe haven, aka Victoria’s house. They get interrupted by Bethany though. Jill is annoyed, says she hardly recognizes her with her clothes on, and Bethany refers to the new décor as “mausoleum-like.” Jill finally leaves them alone and Billy asks what she wants? He says if she’s here to spill the beans about him and Phyllis she's too late because that is over now and she’d just be hurting a lot of people for nothing. Realizing this is a mistake, Bethany leaves.

Jill runs into Phyllis at the club with Nick. Nick goes to the bar to get a drink after the whole Summer fiasco and Jill asks Phyllis what Bethany was doing at Catherine’s place. Phyllis looks envious and disappointed and Jill warns her to work on her poker face. Bethany shows up and Jill calls her a slut. I found it rather amusing. Jill takes off and Bethany hedges and asks some questions but upon realizing that Phyllis is not behind the duffle bag full of money she leaves and goes behind the bar to look at the evenings receipts. This leads her to Victor’s office and she asks him why is he leaving her a bag full of money and asking her to leave town?

Summer comes home to Luca and asks him about his secret meeting with Gwandpa. Luca says he just wants Summer to be happy, and if she wants, he’ll gladly go but Summer insists she loves him and wants to be with him and they are going to prove his innocence. And she’s a Newman, damn it, and Newman’s get what they want, and for her that includes her family showing up at their wedding.

Previews show Paul yelling at Kevin and Kevin saying this would not only prove Adam’s innocence but Chloe’s as well. And Jack is telling Phyllis to stop lying to him.

I'd like to know where Jill gets off calling Bethany a slut. I don't think the problem here is Bethany; it's Jill's rancid, heartless, whiny buttbiscuit of a son. I can see why Phyllis is jealous though. Unattractive dirtbags are so very hard to come by in Genoa City.

Phyllis and Nick couldn't parent their way out of a wet paper bag. No wonder Summer is such a disaster.

Well, when sluts age, or ripen, in soap-opera terms, and perhaps marry [again], they transmogrify... Into what, you may ask? Into some sort of dowager wisdom-woman-with-age, I think. Sluttage becomes history and the new identity calcifies with apparent respectability, and I'm sure you all can think of examples from soaps past and present. Brittany is unripe, and Jill's radar tells her this.

Speaking of dirtbags, I'm heartily sick of Lucre Lucardo. Please take him away. The storyline's gone flat, and much as there's someone out there who gives a damn about Summer's love life, it's not me [I?].

But, I do think the show's better overall: the pacing's improved, and the balance among storylines is definitely better. And that's you, GobacktoGHBilly, I'm talking about. Victoria's suit, I really liked--I'm easy to please.

I suppose I just don't understand why Jill pulled 'slut' out of her bag of insults. So Bethany had sex with her son...Jill could call her sad, desperate and completely lacking in taste when it comes to selecting bedmates. I mean, Bethany is a pointless character, don't get me wrong, but first we have Billy hiking up her skirt and sneering at her that he'd be thinking of Phyllis while doing her, and now we have Birther of Buttbiscuit calling her a slut. Just rubs me the wrong way.

Speaking of Billy, where does a buttbiscuit call home? Is there a colony of buttbiscuits somewhere deep within the Amazon rainforest wondering where their village idiot went? Do pale herds of buttbiscuits roam the icy landscapes of Siberia, occasionally hunted for their furless, clammy hides? Inquiring minds want him to go back where he came from.

Short one tonight because it’s late, Steve wants my attention before bed, and I don’t remember too much dialogue.

Bethany shows up at Victor’s office and asks him what is up with the money? Victor plays dumb at first and tells Bethany she shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth and he has no idea what she’s referring to. When he sees she’s not buying it, he tells her the money is for her to leave town so Adam can go free. Bethany, at first,  is against the thought of having to live her life with a lie and looking over her shoulder. However, she then says she couldn’t walk away from 3 million dollars... Victor says she’s smart and agrees to pay her 3 million dollars to leave GC. I would have asked for 10 million. He tells her to go somewhere where there’s no extradition treaty.

Kevin had the camera at the bus station repositioned and captured Bethany getting the duffle bag full of money. He finally convinces Paul to look at the footage. Basically, he says if Paul ignores this, its negligence. Paul heads over to the train station. Meanwhile, Kevin books it over to the cottage.  He tells Dullen the news and he runs off to the bus station as well. Earlier Sharon and Dylan were still fighting and he was going to sleep on the couch but Mariah got them to forgive one another. While at the cottage, Kevin notices the flower arrangement that was supposed to be for Chloe. He asks what’s up, and Mariah says she stole them, but he should feel better knowing that Chloe didn’t call him about them because she didn’t know they were from him. Mariah storms off at one point, and Kevin asks Sharon what is up with her. Sharon tells Kevin to open his eyes and he finally seems to realize that Mariah has feelings for him.

Phyllis and Jack fight after Jack tells Phyllis to stop lying to him and that he knows she and Victor are conspiring against Summer because Summer called and told him. They argue over Summer, and Phyllis says that he hates that Jack keeps trying to keep her in line like a wayward child. Perhaps you should stop acting like one then, Phyllis. Phyllis storms out of the GCAC.

Billy and Victoria are talking at the office and Victoria admits that not only did Travis want Victoria to sail away with him, but he even wanted her to bring along the children. She tells Billy she turned him down because she couldn’t keep the children away from him. They’re interrupted by Phyllis who is watching Billy and Victoria from around the corner. The fact that they are standing very close doesn’t go unnoticed by her. She asks to speak with Victoria privately. She tells Victoria she didn’t try hard enough to convince Travis to come back to town.  And, that she needs to go see him in person and convince him for Summer’s sake. Victoria admits she still has some feelings for Travis but finally agrees to go. They have a conversation in which Victoria says it’s hard to get over your feelings for someone when you see them all the time and Phyllis agrees and is clearly thinking about Billy.

Billy runs into Jack at the GCAC and Jacks says he and Phyllis had a fight and Billy was right and he should not push Phyllis and try and keep her in line. Billy tells Jack about Victoria and Travis and the sailing trip that never happened.

Chloe is at the crash site and is talking to Delia. There are stuffed animals and flowers. Why don’t people leave that stuff for her at the cemetery? Chloe feels she let Delia down because she promised her justice, but turned the journal pages over to Victor. She says she’s going to have to find a way to live with the fact that she let Delia down, but that she has Delia’s baby sister to worry about.

Paul and Dylan run the prints on the locker and discover they belong to Bethany. They show up at the motel room and find a bunch of wigs she supposedly left behind along with most of her personal belongings.

Previews show Paul and Dylan at the motel. They discover an envelope behind a light switch cover that they unscrew.

Poor Phyllis just wants to keep Summer in line like a wayward child without Jack spoiling her fun. I bet awesome, fun, understanding Billy would totally be down with her epic backfire of a plan. They could grease the banisters of Chancellor mansion with their bodily fluids while moaning out half-assed schemes that will make Summer cling to Luca tighter than his own suits do.

Am I supposed to feel bad that some guy asked Victoria and the kids to sail away from Buttbiscuit Bay? My heartstrings remain untugged by Victoria's declaration that she couldn't take the kids away from their festering pustule of a father.

Good lord, Chloe is boring. Justice for Delia? Adam is married to Chelsea; how much more punishment should the man endure?

Dear Bethany: Please take your millions and rent a plane to fly a banner over Genoa City. "Billy & Phyllis Had Sex" is pretty straightforward and should get the rubes talking.

I kinda like a banner that says "Billy Abbott has herpes " but that's just me.

Since when is Jack a control freak? Phyllis is a control freak,Victor is one but Jackie? Umm,just no. Does he want his wife ,who is a mother and grandmother,to stop doing stupid shit? Yes but that doesn't make him a control freak. Makes him mature and caring which would be why Phyl and Assclown don't get him.

Oh, this show. Must we always take one step forward and two steps back?

Chelsea is reading Adam’s letter to Connor while Chloe listens from the top of the stairs. Chloe comes down and Chelsea says of all Connor’s birthday gifts, his daddy’s letter is his favourite. He’s three years old, Chelsea. You could be reading him the menu from McDonald’s for all he knows; give me a break. Chloe lets it slip that Connor will be getting an even better present soon and Chelsea gets mad that Chloe would dare suggest Connor would get a better present than a letter from his jailbird daddy.

Dullen and Paul are just about to give up their search. Dullen goes to turn off the motel room light and the light cover shifts and he discovers an envelope stuffed in there. It’s the journal pages. He and Paul read over them and it says how Constance died from old age, and makes no mention of Adam so he must be innocent. Sure. Whatever. Dullen rushes off to tell Chelsea the good news.

Adam is in jail and hasn’t eaten or slept in days and is major hallucinating. A guard keeps trying to convince him to eat but Adam just sees Victor in his place taunting him about Chelsea. Apparently she’s moving to Paris. Later he hallucinates the guard, as Victor, telling him that Chelsea is in love with a man named Jean-Pierre who Connor calls Papa.

Chelsea is ecstatic over the news that Adam will be released soon. She asks how Chloe knew.  But Chloe makes up some lame excuse about Chelsea and her karma. Chelsea goes to the jail but Adam refuses to see her and tells the guard, aka “Victor” to tell her to go off with Jean-Pierre. The guard comes back and tells Chelsea that the prisoner is refusing to see her. Chelsea tells the guard that she must see Adam because there’s been a break in his case and he’ll be released soon. The guard goes to tell Adam, but Adam, thinking it is Victor taunting him, starts beating up the guard. Alarms ring out and Chelsea gets up and starts pounding on the door and shouting for Adam.

Jill is being Jill. I don’t even feel like recapping any of her scenes.

Both Ashley and Jill tell Phyllis to calm the fuck down and stop trying to interfere with Summer’s life because it’ll only push her away, along with Jack. Everyone keeps mentioning how Jack has changed and is much calmer now regarding Victor. Jill tells Phyllis that is a good thing and most women would be happy.

Paul goes to visit Victor and accuses him of hiring Bethany to frame Adam. Victor says he did pay off Bethany, but he paid her to seduce Billy and help keep him away from Victoria. When Billy learns this, he goes off to see Phyllis and tells her that Victor probably knows about their affair.

Also, it’s John’s birthday, and Jack and Ashley miss him. Jack says it’s been ages since John visited him. I concur, where’s our ghost John? I miss him.

Previews show Adam beating the guard almost unconscious before he gets tasered. And Victoria and Travis meet face to face in Mexico.

Thanks for saying it.  Between her b.s. with Jack today, and then ButtBiscuit and his single malt scotch of betrayal with Jack I didn't have the heart to post.  Yep, parts of the Show are better but until Phyllis and ButtBiscuit pay and pay BIG I'm not really enjoying much of Show.

I get it, totally. Unfortunately, I don't think they will pay in the way they should. Phyllis and Billy don't even love Jack in a way that would make this story mean something. Any emotional reaction was sucked out of this long ago. Phyllis will just cry and say she loves Jack's brother now and she's oh so sorry. The loss of her relationship with Jack, as well as Billy's relationship with Jack, would only be relevant if there was actual love that had been portrayed throughout these months.

Sweet fancy Moses, of all the people who need to get tasered on this benighted show, Adam gets the zapper? There's a wild buttbiscuit on the prowl in need of a cattle prod and butterfly net. Violence, the wailing of prison alarms, an imaginary French boyfriend...Adam and Chelsea are still as interesting as reading the back of a shampoo bottle.*

Ghost John, the supernatural orange fun sponge, needs to materialize inside Chancellor Mansion and tell Billy a few truths about himself. Fortunately John has an eternity. I can understand why he doesn't though; like the viewers, Ghost Dad suspects Buttbiscuit's nostrils are an express portal to hell with exceptional gravitational pull.

Next on Genoa City Justice: Watch as seasoned investigator Paul "Flatrod" Williams and his lone detective Deputy Doofus are distracted by whatever shiny piece of evidence is thrown in their path by the local undead crime boss. Does the corrupt D.A. release the wrongly imprisoned gangster known as Barking Nips? Does anyone still care?

*Apologies to the shampoo industry. My last bottle of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration was far more compelling than Adam's and Chelsea's angst.

Right? So Phyllis is acting like she's in a dungeon with the evil controlling Jack because the evil controlling Jill has put her there. And she needs to get to her hero Billy but she cannot because she must sacrifice herself so the Abbotts aren't broken. This is the narrative show is selling, right?

In fact, Phyllis is a cruel, narcissistic, cheating coward who has decided to torture Jack daily by attacking everything he says and does as "failing to support her" and blaming him for the strain in their marriage while aligning with Victor (her arch nemesis who Jack has not sufficiently hated and so forced her to fuck Jack's brother) to control her grown daughter's life (something she accuses Jack of doing to HER).

And Billy has only contempt for his brother as he pursues his wife and pumps Jack for info to use to destroy his marriage, so what Phyllis thinks she's protecting (in her sacrifice for Abbott unity) is beyond me. Oh wait. She is protecting her reputation.

Whatever, Reptile. Keep crying. IDGAF.

Chelsea is still freaking out about Adam. The warden comes to see her and tells her she needs to leave, even as the alarms stop blaring. She’s refusing but Michael happens to show up at the same time. Michael convinces her to leave, and tells her he will get to the bottom of what’s happening with Adam.

Michael learns that Adam was having a hunger strike and attacked a guard. The guard had to be taken to the hospital as he was unconscious by the time two guards were able to stop Adam. Michael goes to visit Adam in the infirmary. Adam has just come to and doesn’t remember what happened at first. He then tells Michael that Victor was trying to kill him. Michael tells him Victor hasn’t been to the jail in days, and that the lack of food and all the stress Adam’s been under must have caused him to hallucinate. Michael also informs Adam that they found the journal pages and he will be released. But, the warden shows up and tells Adam not so fast. He orders Adam back to his cell where he later tells Adam that he’s looking at another 6-10 years in jail for assaulting the guard.

Nick shows up at Newman after discovering that Paul and Dylan found Sage’s missing journal pages. He accuses Victor of forging the pages but Victor denies it. That man lies as easily as breathing. He also accuses Victor of being behind the journal pages now showing up. Victor asks which is he, a savior or a monster and continues to be annoyed. Nick says Victor spent all his time in jail plotting revenge on his family for a crime he was guilty of, rather than reflecting on what he did.

At the coffee shop, Mariah and Sharon are drinking coffee when Sharon lets it slip that she said something to Kevin about Mariah. Mariah is freaking out and wants to know what Sharon said, but Kevin spots them and comes to their table. Mariah pretends they’re late to meet Chelsea, but Sharon says they have lots of time and leaves them alone to get another coffee. Mariah plays stupid and Kevin asks her if she indeed has feeling for him, since they already tried that and it was awkward and mediocre. Mariah is saved from responding but Chloe showing up with Connor and Bella. Mariah grabs the kids and takes them to the counter to get some cookies and leaves Kevin to speak with Chloe. Sharon, Mariah and Chloe then watch as Kevin plays ball with Connor, who has some life in him and even utters the words “you got it!” in reference to the soccer ball. It’s cute. Chloe admits things with Kevin weren’t all bad, and he and Delia were a family and had some good times together.

Victor goes to visit Chloe at one point and tells her she needs to move out. Victor goes on to say that Chloe can’t stay at the penthouse when Adam is released from jail. Chloe isn’t thrilled about having to leave her bff Chelsea.

Victoria is in Mexico and comes aboard Travis’ ship. It’s actually shot outside in what is supposed to be Mexico. It’s just nice to see people in actual sunlight. It reminded me a bit of The Bold and the Beautiful. Anyway, Travis is surprised to see her, gives her some rum, and they talk. He keeps saying he doesn’t want to go back to GC and that he’s happy and free. Victoria says he’s been docked for two weeks and he was swearing at the sink when she walked in. Victoria accuses him of running away all the time, and Travis says her ego is hurt because he turned her down when she called. Victoria makes to slap him, Travis catches her arm, and then they’re sitting on the deck before finally heading below and making nookie.

Previews show Michael telling Adam to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

IDGAF.

You're back.  You've been missed.  A lot.  A WHOLE lot!

As someone who's never been a Nickecanthropus fan, I admit to liking the scene where he tried to stonewall Papa Legba. And the old Voodoomeister didn't have too many great comebacks. At least there are some conflicting currents surfacing so I don't pitch headlong into my schooner of Kangaroo Blanc.

I did manage a few laps though during the Sharon/Mariah/Kevin crap, and the Adamthisisthewaytheywritemeoff scenes. I'm hoping I'll be all the better for the exercise.

However, when the actual sunshine gleamed on the furry arms of Travis, I took note and stopped swimming. [BTW, I hate furry arms.] First, and beware, there's a studio-era ref coming, I so loved Victoria's nautical ensemble--I got that Lady from Shanghai/Rita Hayworth vibe--Rita in the nautical blazer and captain's hat over the swimsuit in her first scenes. Second, by Holy Saint Depilatory! Did the waxing department use Travis as an offering to the Holy Fathers of the Glabrous Torso? If so, finish the job, and get rid of the furry arms.

I may try a backstroke today.

he later tells Adam that he’s looking at another 6-10 years in jail for assaulting the guard.

The warden has a law degree?  Why does this not surprise me?  As I said in another thread, Adam can sue the whole city/county for false imprisonment (or whatever it's called when you don't check your evidence before going to trial) and also convince a jury that it caused (irreparable) mental damage and get some more compensation.  Then the guard should press his suit of injury and suffering because of Adam's illegal incarceration and get some buckos.  And then! the Preverts should be mightily compensated for this dreadful story.  (Is there enough money in the world for that?) Of course, the real Ringmaster(s) of this whole stupidbeyondbelief story line will never be held responsible.  So maybe Adam can hook up with Pattycakes and go scorched earth on GC with her.

The character is just filled with nastiness every single day. She has a permanent scowl. It's beyond tired.

Also, HI! Pls tell me you'll be commenting when the reveal goes down....

Hi back!! I will comment when the reveal goes down. Although, if it doesn't go down until November sweeps I can make no promises. But I'm checking in now as we near the 11k episode where I EXPECT to see Jack explode.

I hated Stafford (as many on this board know) but she injected lunacy and humour in Phyllis, even -- especially when -- she was doing bad shit. GT is just too earnest and so she's basically been scowling since LAST FALL.

JFC.

Thanks, Boes. Missed you back. :)

So Adam has lost his mind after a week in prison? Seriously? That is funny.

First, I think this whole fiasco is BS.

But I think with Alford Pleas you give up the right to appeal or sue for wrongful imprisonment. You take the deal acknowledging that the state has enough to convict while not pleading guilty.

This whole storyline has no or very little reality to it, even for a soap opera. I wish some para legal was on the writers' list of resources. They could do just a little research to improve the storyline. Although Pratt's storylines would be hard to write out of!

I didn't exactly hate her (except during the whole Daisy/Daniel/Lucy fiasco) I didn't love her either. But GT turns my stomach. She has no humor, she is never fun and her face is always twisted into an evil sneer. I'm sick to death of seeing Jack flopping around like a clueless idiot. I'm calling for a Mulligan. Just make it so everything that happened after Phyllis fell down the stairs a dream and re-cast Phyllis and Billy and start over. I'd even pretend not to notice if Travis came on one day and the VO said "The role of Billy Abbott is now being played by.....

Yup.  His 'lawyer' should never let him plead that way.  The 'trial' was rushed, the evidence was bogus/prettymuchhearsay and it reminded me of the Cabinistas trying and punishing him long ago.

Yes, a paralegal would be a nice addition to the writing staff (as well as a mental health consultant, someone with a business background, law enforcement specialist...you get the picture) but maybe there is someone on the writing staff that can google for about 15 minutes.

Even 5 minutes would be more than we're getting now. Hell, they ask any random 8 year old they have at home: "Blaze, did you do your homework?" "Yes, mom." Did you google those things like I asked you?" "Yes, mom. The whole list." "Here Blaze, have a cookie."

Wowza, looks like Adam stays in jail as he plead guilty.  You know, I am getting a bit of satisfaction with Dick, of all people, holding Prick accountable for what he did to Adam, and Dick doesn't even know it has backfired on him, I think.  But for Prick, this has gone terribly terribly wrong, so maybe that is how the writers punish him for us.

And I guess Chloe will have no trouble sleeping now.

I assume Adam is staying in jail because JH got a prime time gig?  Does this mean we are going to have to endure more of Chelz moaning about her travails?  Spare us, please.
