There's a reason why VK didn't make it her first year. There's a reason why she doesn't have friends on the team. There's a reason why she was never chosen for GL or 2nd GL. Those reasons are all Victoria Kalina. I am tired of her victim mentality.

Agreed you just had the courage to say what I was thinking through most of the interview lol. She basically blamed Kelly for none of the girls voting for her (not getting any sort of group leader role was Kelly telling the girls not to vote for her was quite a laughable comment from Victoria), oh and the way she claimed she was "threatened by them" in the office scene. I mean they were being honest and she thought it was a joke that they were warning her she could get cut. Also the  showboating was rather well telling of the mentality she had. Also I have to wonder if the current gals watched the glaringly obvious favoritism she was given in the CMT show too. I mean you have to be blind to not see Kelly was just painting a picture of her on that squad cause of her mother. She, as a rookie (I think that's when it was) was put in Gina's spot for a Thunder performance for pete's sake and made a huge obvious mistake and Judy pushed her to the back even when she came back as a third and fourth year veteran. No wonder she claimed Judy hated her, she probably blamed Judy for not getting prime position in the triangle and also other prime performances. Hey if she takes everything and makes herself better to become a Rockette than good for her, but she isn't going to be just given a spot cause her mom is friends with Kelly there and neither is she just going to be given friends. I honestly doubt we will ever see either of them at Alumni events in the future, that door is officially shut forever for Victoria and its obvious now. Part of me thinks she shouldn't have even come back for a third or fourth year if this is how she really feels about them especially at the cost of her mental health. I wonder if that was her mother pushing her back there at glaring costs.

I listened to the podcast she did. She did clear some things up. I think she got a lot of special treatment her first year auditioning, but respectfully earned her spots the other 4 years. I still don't think she was leadership material and blamed it on Kelli and Judy. Nicole Bulcher comes to mind. She was a DCC for 5 season and an All Star for a few years as well. I don't recall her being a group leader and she never really moved up in the triangle. There's nothing wrong with just being a DCC while you're a DCC.

I kind of forgot that season in my mind so I need a refresh on Nicole but I thought she was at least a 2nd group leader if not first leader but those seasons had a lot more upper year girls tenure wise. I just think Victoria wanted to have the same experience her mom did and well that definitely did not happen (according to her at least). She earned her spot yes post her first try out year but at the risk of her mental health I just have to wonder now if it was really worth it for her in the long run. To clarify she earned her spots on the team but I don't think she earned front row Gina spot in the triangle over other's that one instance when Gina got hurt. Just my personal opinion there on that. Her podcast comments on being friends with the producer I think it was makes me wonder if they want a show on making the Rockettes now (featuring her). Not going to lie I would love a show about making the Rockettes but not full on Victoria 24/7. They do a lot on their Youtube channel, or at least used to.

Ok so I listened to the podcast and while some things are irritating (the bringing fans showboating feel statement) the actual TikTok thing is wow though honestly. Also she really is trying to be a Rockette, like I assumed. Also that comment about the weatherman makes me think that Victoria definitely does not like him lol. Does anyone know, did Kelsey (if that's the wrong spelling sorry) go to the Today show thing for the Netflix show or was it just current DCC that were on the show? Victoria states she wasn't there and hasn't had any conversation with Kelly and I am just wondering if that's cause she isn't in that world anymore or did they actually not like her camera time.

Kelcey is shown in the pics from the Today Show, but I believe the rest are all requisitioning/didn’t retire. https://www.instagram.com/p/C8xMqquO7iM/?igsh=M3ViaWx4dG5heWxs

No one has mentioned on here or Reddit (I don't think?) that Victoria's DCC contract was expired. All the gals contracts expire the end of May or June, somewhere around there. Kelcey's was renewed because she is an All Star. They would have of had to have had a continuance of Victoria's legal paperwork to invite her to the Today show for an official DCC appearance, and pay her as well. Neither parties probably wanted to do that for a brief one day appearance.

Nicole was a 2nd GL in her 3rd & 4th years and a 1st GL her 5th year. It is true that she never had a great spot in the triangle, and she also never got show group.

Former cheerleader may have staged a lonely birthday along with Netflix???  Other cheerleaders speak up.  Can’t make this stuff up!

You should see the Reddit thread hot dang. I tried reading through but like thousands of comments in a day was way to much to get through. Some former cheerleaders commented on the TikTok all dismissing it, even Kelcey, and I believe some current ones did too. They were all commenting how they feel hurt she would do this to them sort of thing. One went as far to saying she had been invited to XYZ events, showers, weddings, birthdays and never showed up (but I think that might have been deleted now someone screenshotted though). Someone said that her mother was coaching her on what to say on the podcast, I mean it's Reddit so you can't take it all seriously but the comments on that podcast from former cheerleaders are all dismissing it. Even current ones did too. There was one anonymous poster claiming to be a former cheerleader too but again grain of salt there on Reddit. They had to create a subthread dedicated to the "not so great" Victoria talk on there cause it was a lot. Supposedly there are fans claiming "Justice for Victoria" on social media and Kleine responded with justice for what and a laughing emoji on one of them. Some of those so called fans are now trolling the other girls calling them names supposedly but again Reddit talk.

Victoria has always given me victim vibes. During her first year of MTT, I just thought it was immaturity and she’d grow. And I thought she had as she continued with DCC. She’s still playing high school victim at her big age? I’m not buying her sad act anymore. Time to grow up, Victoria!

I believe the other girls and their messages on TikTok. Especially after Amari commented, she seems so genuine.

This is the link for the Reddit thread. The Victoria megathread sub thread has/had a lot of stuff about the whole team responding on social media and supposedly Tina calling everyone jealous and at one point threatening a lawsuit on a Reddit comment 🤣I don't know if that person really is Tina but yeah it was hilarious. Hopefully the link works for you.

Schram has just posted on her insta story that she gave birth. (I think its a girl unless I missed the memo) called Elora

https://www.instagram.com/stories/schraminator/3417157722846949056/?hl=en

I also read yesterday that VK's birthday "pity" story of "I (VK) invited everyone to my birthday but noone came" hilarious that the rest of the girls ratted (is that even the right word and is it even spelt right? It looks wrong to me!!!!!) her out on "we werent even invited". I took it all with a pinch of salt and just "meh'd" it.

You used “ratted” and spelled it correctly.  Per US English.

THIS! This was my exact thought! MTT didn't do her any favors, if her personality and attitude was this great all along. I loved her in the Netflix show.

I loved most things, except guilting her sister about her having DCC blues.  But it may be their sense of humor with one another.

She talks about the "birthday party" more on this podcast around 20ish minutes. Definitely a "grain of salt" situation! LOL

she needs to take her 15 minutes of fame and move on but just my opinion and no I didn't even bother listening/watching this cause again I am over it 🤷‍♀️. I know she wasn't a "victim" but in her own little mind and well for the Netflix show. I will not binge that show, I watched it best I could without fast forwarding the way to much Victoria parts, and now am done. I have now gone back to binging the early seasons of Grey's Anatomy and will keep it that way for Netflix 🤣 I still binge MTT too on Paramount cause why not but skip anything past season 12 🤣

Early Grey's seasons are a binge for me, too! And I'd also love to see her move on from her 15 minutes. She's teaching in NYC and most photos of her doing so, she's wearing Cowboys or DCC gear. I wish she'd stop straddling the fence and move on.

I actually had to think of Jinelle when reading the post above and the one about Nicole B. Jinelle was a much loved DCC and a great group leader, but she also seemed hidden away in the Thunderstruck formation. (Unless I'm mistaken)

Congrats to former DCC Jenna who will be an assistant director for Allen Americans Ice Angels, along with former AAIA and TCC finalist Melannie Montalvo (who withdrew from DCC finals this year due to a foot injury).

Also, this year's TCC Savannah Arevalo made the AAIA team!

I know former DCC Lisa used to be in the assistant director role for AAIA. I am thinking she did it for only one year?

Saw today she did another press interview and photos.  It is featured in “ the cut.”  The writer even mentioned her orange fingers from self tanner, and toenail appearance.  Also it seems there have been Netflix cameras in her classes…are they doing a follow up feature on her??  Is she getting paid from all these interviews, photo ops, Celsius drinks, and now a camera crew?

I just watched Episode 4: Boot Buddies and it's illuminating to see the 37-team rotation from two years ago (Zhenya and Kally's rookie season) explained!

Kelly and Judy did a disservice to that team with their poor communication.

I've listened/watched all 4 episodes and it's refreshing to hear their experiences. I like how they're both honest and don't shy away from critiquing the organisation whilst still being proud and appreciative. They've fast become two of my faves, considering we didn't get much info about their rookie class with no TV show.

I will never get past her terrible mother calling Chandler "Grandma" when her own daughter has the gummiest smile. And for the love of all that is good and holy somebody please put some lowlights in VKs hair and lose that horrible lipstick shade...

I agree. Tina is pretty manly looking IMO so she shouldn't be making comments about looks. I don't think she was even good looking  when she was a DCC.

Seems like Jenna has done a lot of things since she left the DCC. I remember when she was supposed be a director of an Ice Girls type of team for a pro hockey team in LA. That was in 2019 and never happened but the website for it is still up. https://ladybugsicegirls.com/our-squad/

Jenna's post DCC path is interesting.  She seems like a career oriented person albeit one who's struggling to find something that suits her in which she's successful.

I saw many sm posts about her trying to start a career as a choreographer or influencer back in the day. She briefly  tried to become a reality star with Big Brother though that didn't work out. She did the occasional dance class but nothing structural as far as I know. The Lady Bug thing seemed like the very first proper job but that probably fell through because of Covid 19. Hopefully her new job as assistant director works out.

I have wondered whether a lack of a degree and proper work experience in a real job has worked against her in this respect. She started DCC right after high school after all, and it was all she had and did.

Episode 5 was a definite eye-opener in the chaos the cheerleaders have to put up with.

The story about the drone and it getting stuck in a cheerleader's hair was crazy! And they still made them repeat the routine afterwards, with the drone stuck her hair. They really don't care for the cheerleaders...

I'm feeling so relieved for them and others who left!
