  1. Definitely Season 5. That particular episode came on today where Judy stated such after finals ended.
  2. Or was it Season 5? I remember this being said and I’m thinking this was the season in question.
  3. Actually, back in the 70s, there were at least two Black DCCs that wore their hair naturally. I’m glad to see that a return to this.
  4. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1gCSkKuDY6/?igsh=MWNtODczbHVjbGhlZA== Click on the link to see the announcement. Congrats to her💙🤍
  5. Steven Kent Summers is Dolly Parton’s longtime creative director. I’m thinking he’s the one that created her uniform. If the material came from the DCC uniform closet, I don’t think Jerry Jones himself would tell Dolly Parton she couldn’t keep any part of it.
  6. Both were veteran HTCs (Malia - 2 yrs, Vanessa - 4 yrs) and were probably good and done at the end of their rookie DCC year.
  7. Wasn’t it stated she left to get married (as have others)? If true, I can understand. Trying to come back, I understand that, too. Good for her that the Raiderettes saw her talent.
  8. Everyone has a right to their opinion. However, everything doesn’t need to be said particularly if it could hurt someone’s feelings. That’s my issue with her comment.
  9. My thinking was that a dancer could use their experience having cheered for the X and bring their skill set to auditions. Not that I would want the dancer to brag or just talk up their time on X squad. I know neither K/J would be impressed by such. CCook did get to finals so she had something but just not enough. Oh well. No, she wasn’t the only one.
  10. I wish she had tried out for the KC Chiefs. Had she made it, she could’ve tried again later to be a DCC. She could’ve come back stronger with some experience under her belt.
  11. Correct, also. Jenna Allison didn’t make training camp. She did try again in S11 but it was the same result.
  12. Sexy hips is still a thing with the DCC. Good thing the mindset has changed. These women (perhaps not all but I think most) want to be paid as performers/entertainers.
  13. An article was put out regarding those iconic DCC boots - https://www.dmagazine.com/sports/2022/12/behind-the-boot-the-story-of-the-dallas-cowboys-cheerleaders-iconic-lucchese/
  14. What’s funny is I knew he was and remember that jump. And I like the boots.
