I don't think they can smell them cause of the walker masks and probably have their clothes covered in walker blood and guts. But the hearing part yeah. Maybe the walkers can;t figure out where the talking is coming from.

I yelled at the TV when Daryl didn't go and make sure he was dead. Could anyone tell if he's alive or undead? My screen was too dark.
