I get the feeling whatever meds she's on, has brought on all her feelings. Full force. That doesn't sound like a good idea for a person that numbs and stuffs all emotions like she has done with pills in the past, and maybe alcohol in the present. Or whatever they are doing/smoking in the garage. That's a recipe for disaster in my opinion. She really does seem to be barely hanging on. 

Not to mention Matt. I just don't get it. He was determined to weasel his way onto a reality show and Amber happened to be weakest "in" for him. The people on the show seem to like him, including the production team. If he's so wonderful, why don't they show us that? Better yet, where's her family to show us that? Something in the water ain't clean. And it's name is Matt.

At my house, we call Top Chef "Top Scallop!"  We loved that line so much.  I hope my husband set up Top Scallop to DVR tonight.

I was actually surprised when she said that.  That must mean that she is somewhat aware of the fact that he is trying to take over the show.

I was thinking about them constantly being in the garage and maybe it's not about smoking or the landlord, my guess is that they didn't buy the fancy furniture from the boutique, but rented them instead and now they just don't want to show that the old couch is back in the living room.

If Amber feels depressed now, just wait until Matt leaves her ass. Her world will be upside down. She will put the waterworks into over-drive, and she will claim she is suffering from PTSD.

Amber is going to be regretting that moomy makeover (tm ghoulina), her butt-looking boobs, her empty pocketbook, her fried out and damaged patch of blonde hair, no roof over her head, no license to drive and no car to drive.

When he does inevitably leave her, do you think she'll try to throw some hoohoo Gary's way to try and get him back? I'm pretty much positive he wouldn't do there, but I can totally see her trying. Calling him at all hours, saying she's lonely and talking about how good they were together. Note: they weren't.

Amber has an extremely short fuse. She is a ticking time bomb. She totally hears things differently than what is being said. She is easily insulted even when no one is insulting her. She also holds grudges. She is constantly on this heightened defense mode. Her perceptions are everyone is out to get her. She will get them before they get her.

Nice book cover, Amber.  The leased car and Shoe Carnival winter boots in summer really make this cover more impressive than the last.  I'm surprised Matt didn't include himself on the cover.  He controls her life.  Completely.  Is she a victim or does she like him making all the decisions because then she can absolve herself of guilt?

Take Bew Bew for example....

If Matt wanted to live in Anderson, they would live there. To me, it's clear that he doesn't want to live closer to Leah's school as he does not want to care for the child.  Amber doesn't do a single thing for Leah when she's with them. The responsibility rests on Matt. He had no interest in raising his own children. Why would he want to raise Gary's kid?  Matt pays Gary child support (yes, I wrote Matt.  He is the one that manages Amber's finances.) so that JFK and Marilyn don't have to wake up early and take Bew Bew to school.  He provides false sympathy for Amber when she cries about Leah -- he doesn't give a shit.  Is it false sympathy and support when the tears are crocodile to begin with?

She doesn't want to be a mother but she is on a show called Teen Mom. In order to be afforded the ability to lay in bed all day and only get up to smoke cigarettes in the garage or shop, she has to play mom in front of the cameras once a week. 

Gary started this journey out rough years ago but he has grown into a great father. He's married to a woman who takes motherhood seriously.  Christina is Leah's mother.  (I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Amber watched the moving scene between Leah and Christine as they walked on the beach). Amber and Matt haven't done anything to help Gary. Remember, Amber was only ordered to start paying child support about 6 months ago.  She went years without helping him -- and then she has the nerve to "write" a book?!  Bitch, what do you need to express to the world in a book that we don't already know.

ETA: It IS from the same photo shoot with Matt!  I just checked the episode online.  Even the scarf she is wearing was the one she used to warm herself during the shoot.  Must have been a 2-for-1 special on book cover photography.

It is. The boots are the same, the poncho top, the scarf is the same one Kerthy walked out to her and she puts it under her chin because she's cold.(and to cover her double chin) The lipstick matches the scarf. Amber and Kerthy talk about the surgery. They keep saying her surgery is tomorrow but when her voiceover says her "surgery is today" while Gnat is driving her, it looks to me like she still has that same outfit on. Only she's also wearing the pleather zipper jacket and the scarf is on her, under the jacket. She's wearing the sunglasses from the book cover as well. Matt is wearing a red plastic pocket t-shirt under the jacket during the photo shoot and while he's driving Amber to the hospital. Definitely the same day. (I just watched on my DVR to post this)

Haha I was just coming here to post the same thing. I am here watching the episodes for the second time on my DVR.

I knew from the first run, that scene of Amber being driven to surgery was staged. She was too made up for someone who was on their way to have major plastic surgery. I then remembered those were the same clothes from the photo shoot.

For someone who paid all that money for plastic surgery, she still has those double chins.

Looks like the mother of two of Matt's daughter wouldn't be paid off like the four other women and will actually have a day in court.  For over a year Matt has dodged the Server....  Probably answered the door thinking it was an Amazon package or something.

She may feel with the book and Matt now being front and center on TMOG and the flipping houses "business", he will likely be pulling in more money which we know is a helluva lot more than whatever he was earning before he met, conned, and moved in with Visa card.

That's not how it works Amber.  You name was never on a single one of the 3 flips.  There are no construction permits out for your rental.  It's not a private owner.  It's 50/50 split between a couple and their family's residential rental business.  Why on Earth would an investor be willing to work with someone who has a $130K IRS lien that could potentially destroy their investment.

How beautiful was Amber here?  She's such a hot mess now.   I am not defending any of her actions nor making excuses, but I truly believe Matt is messing with her head.  She seemed "kinda" together when she first got out of "gel".

The house has not changed ownership since 2015.  It's owned by people/family with tons of rental properties.  None of these people have any ties to Amber or Matt.  Give it up, Amber.  You rent.  Indiana is an open-records state.  There is about 4 different ways I just validated that they don't own the house.  Even when they're evicted (both Matt and Amber have been pretty much evicted from every residence they've ever lived in), they'll still claim that they were owners.

Leah dodged a bullet with this one. She won't know it for a while because it will take many years to stop yearning for Ambah to be as good of a mom as Christina is to her, but one day she'll understand and she'll be able to appreciate how much her dad and stepmom did to assure she would have a stable childhood.

Or you don't put it in your name if you're flipping it?

It is a private owner versus what?  A public owner?

Nothing she says makes any sense.  If you own a house, it is not going to be in someone else's name.  It doesn't matter who you bought it from or whether you intend to own it for a week or a decade.

Unless it's bank owned) but has no deed to the home, so basically she just handed someone cash to live in the house and flip it and then she will make money when she sells it.  Ok.  How would she make any money from the sale if she's not the owner?  Does she think anyone believes this explanation?

Yeah, they'll move in June/July when their lease expires.  Landlord knows they have a pack of dogs now and probably wants them out. 

She won't move closer to Leah. They'll move to an area with a casino.

Wow, I'm impressed with the detective work on this site. Well done! Questions that she never answers include "If you close on a house, why does the agent say you can move in right away, like you would with a rental?"" or "What the fuck kind of house flip starts with a house that looks like THAT? The most you could flip it for is what, 10K, 12K without making somewhere in the order of $60K of high end and totally unnecessary renovations? If you're flipping it while you're living there, who is doing the work and when? The kitchen is modern, the couch hasn't moved..." The problem is that very few people are as willingly obtuse as these kids are (I know they're like 30 now), but they seem to think we are. An "investor"? So why isn't it in the name of your company?

To be fair, if I had a Twitter I would ask for advice. Not to apply it but to try and figure out just what the hell she thinks she's doing. Or if I was an attorney for Matt's ex and trying to figure out his income for attachment. Or an IRS agent that will get a bonus for collecting on Amber's debt. 

Maybe that's what the real beef is between Farrah/Simon and Amber/Matt. Farrah and Simon are pissed at the attention Amber and Matt are bringing to "investment" opportunities.
