TeeVee329 November 24, 2017 Share November 24, 2017 Yeah, there is no way Sam and Nina should and would be friends for a variety of reasons - Nina's antics during Sam's relationship with Silas, Nina's husband murdering Sam's cousin, Nina thinking Franco's a swell guy and dating him for a while, Nina being a bitch to Sam's friend Maxie, etc. 12 Link to comment

dubbel zout November 27, 2017 Share November 27, 2017 I still don’t understand how that affects Franco. For me the fact everyone know the Jasons are actually twins is the news. If Elizabeth were going to dump Franco, it should be because he’s lied about all of this. I don’t get the “she’ll go back to Jason” fear. Just because there are two doesn’t mean she’ll want one. Jason Miller is with Sam for now, and Jason Burton is back up in Sonny’s ass. Who wants to deal with that? 3 Link to comment

IWantCandy71 November 27, 2017 Share November 27, 2017 Quote I'm pretty meh on Sam right now but I think they will try to make Nina and Sam friends and that is absurd. It's pretty dumb that Carly would give Sam the time of day, and look at those two. I mean, Sam did carry on with Sonny while he was married to Carly one of the previous times, correct ? They've been on that see saw and off again so many times, I can't remember. Pretty sure Sonny and Carly were at least dilly dallying together at the same time Sonny and Sam were, if they weren't married. And yet Carlybabes is totes okay with Sam. Liz and Sam were semi okay with each other the last time I watched. So many of these interactions have always been completely false to me and do not jibe with the histories. I don't expect the characters to constantly be at each other's throats. I have no interest in constant revenge plots or bickering. But I also don't want to see characters be friends, who shouldn't be friends. I also don't want to see characters in one another lives when they have no business being so. It's why-while I understand why Jason and Sam hate Franco, for instance-I got so tired of hearing it. Yes, Franco is a bad man who did bad things. But so is Jason, and so is anyone who supports him, so why not just call it a draw and keep those characters OUT of each other's storylines ? Liz and Jakeson can share Jake and never, ever have a one on one scene ever again-ditto Sam/Liz, Jason/Franco and Sam/Franco. It isn't entertaining. It makes me hate all four of them, because they all come across as smug, holier than thou pigs. It does none of them any favors. 5 Link to comment

It's all pretty contrived, but Franco said (I think to Scotty) that telling Liz what he knows would necessitate explaining the part about him supposedly tossing toddler Drew down the stairs. And that would mean that The Evil is part of who Franco inherently is, and wasn't just the later tumor. So that would cause her to leave him. I know it's twisted, but it serves the plot, such as it is! 2 Link to comment

I didn't mean that Sam and Nina interacting was absurd from a show context, I meant that it's absurd from a meta one . . . just randomly sticking in Nina with Sam, as if she already doesn't get enough airtime and random interactions (Nina). Although Carly isn't really totally okay with Sam . . . Sam is just the lesser evil for Carly out of all the women Jason could be with. 3 Link to comment

My main point was that they put characters in scenes together all the time who shouldn't be interacting. Plus, lots of folks had their turn propping Sam back in the day. I'm also not sure I want to get in any debate about Sam versus Nina's airtime. Both characters are pointless, and both characters have, in their time, eaten up way too much airtime better served by better actors and characters. jsbt November 28, 2017 Share November 28, 2017 Fakeout. They're gonna say Miller is Jason (he's not). Watch. I know it's twisted, but it serves the plot, such as it is! Yeah, that's all pretty weak. I guess I can see it from this chronically insecure character's point of view, but geez, unless he remembers doing it because he was possessed of a murderous rage, or he coldly planned out in advance to shove Drew down stairs to get rid of him once and for all, it just sounds like something that actually happens with little kids. They're playing and one of them gets mad and the other one gets hurt. Didn't the child version of Sonny (...yes, I know, there is nothing but the "child version of Sonny," but I mean the one in the flashbacks) accidentally cause Adela to fall down some stairs while she was pregnant with Ric? Asp Burger November 29, 2017 Share November 29, 2017 (edited) One thing I will say. The "mystery" about which Jason is which does make the spoilers more ambiguous. Some of the spoiler sites are referring to Miller as Jason; some are referring to Burton as Jason; some are still referring to Burton Jason as "Six" or "Patient Six." "Jason's insecurities get the best of him"...well, that one is easy. Miller. Holy Hitman isn't programmed to have insecurities. However, "Jason is in disbelief" or "Jason turns to Monica"...could be either one. "Carly proposes a new way of life to Jason"...not sure. She could be telling the Miller one to embrace his Navy SEAL past and run away with Tamara Braun, or she could be asking the Burton one to move into her and Sonny's bedroom. The interest in either the character(s) or who he's making eyes at has always been PnL material when it wasn't boring me to death. He's either a milquetoast goody goody who looks down his nose at others, or a milquetoast murderer who looks down his nose at others. And neither one of the actors are great looking IMO. Passably handsome, yes. Worth fighting over ? HA. No. And talent wise, again, no. Give me Rick Hearst back as Ric Lansing full time, over either SBu or BM playing Jason. Give me Wally Kurth on contract, give me Sean Kanan, Billy Warlock or even Gerald Hopkins back as AJ over either Jason. I'd tune back in for any of the three of them, provided that AJ wasn't someone's victim again. And I gotta repeat it again: the age difference between the two "Jasons". Obvious.
