I don't buy any rumors about Billy Miller, especially twitter ones. Imo they're all bitter because he refuses to engage in social media. It's all wonderful to think about... What's more, you would also have Matt Murdock leaping about pummeling anyone who set a wrong foot in the city.

 

There's something rather delightful in imagining Matt Murdock beating the shit out of the likes of Sonny, Borg!Jason and Franco. I mean... really delightful.

I don't like the Brenda/Sonny/Carly triangle.  It's been done to DEATH.  I was actually hoping for Brenda and Michael to have a one-night stand just to watch Carly's head explode - and Sonny's.  I actually liked the chemistry with Vanessa and Chad, and I loved all the scenes with Vanessa and Laura.  I don't think I want to watch ANOTHER round of Brenda and Sonny.  That ship has sailed. 

 

I hope that's not true. 8 more months of Sam talking about Jakeson? I can't. I cannot.

Eight more months of Jake is what I can't take.  He is SOOOOOO boring.

I've never liked the idea of Sonny's great love sexing up his son. I liked them pretending it happened, because the outrage was a lot of fun to watch, but for it to actually occur? No, thank you. 

 

Brenda/Carly/Sonny has been done to death, though I always like to think that Brenda will always be Sonny's first choice. Carly is the woman he's settled for because she's around, they're stuck with each other because of kids, and Carly will never let go. That said, Brenda returning is a waste of time unless she has an actual function, like helping to save ELQ with hidden stock or something.

Which... look, I was a HUGE Sonny/Brenda fan back in the day. HUGE. But then he married Lily while Brenda started to debase herself just to stay in Sonny's life and then Jax came along and I jumped ship. I was happy to do it. And Sonny now is nothing like he was back then anyway (not that what he was back then was all that great, to be honest)... so I cannot actively root for him to find happiness with anyone. I think his constant misery and his never-ending merry-go-round of 'true loves' is earned because he's become a fickle buttmunch. And I'm being nice!

 

And, to be fair, Brenda doesn't really resemble who she used to be either but I still can't figure out how she can look at Sonny and the life he's lived and the choices he continues to make and think 'Yes! I wuv him so much and must be with him!' despite the fact that, hey, she actually can't be with him!

 

Sonny doesn't deserve to go off and have his happy ending and Brenda just needs to stay off in the ether with her kid that is totally Jax' and not enable Sonny's bullshit the way everyone else does. I fear they would only bring her back in order to sweet talk Michael into forgiving Sonny or something and that shit need never happen!

I think sometimes when actors leave a show they forget that the show moves on. Certainly when Vanessa left the first time and maybe even the second time, at that moment Brenda and Sonny HAD to end up together. But time has moved on and Sonny has changed for the worse and I no longer see him s the same man he was when he was with Brenda. Much the same can be said for Luke and Laura. That ship has sailed.

I think that may have been the last full on rage I had about this show that was specifically GH related (what Ron did to my beloved Todd and Blair is another story... and, anyway, PP fixed that.) Ever since then the egregious crimes against the audience/history of the show that have taken place have resulted in more of a 'of course they went in this direction... how disappointingly predictable of them' reaction than full on rage.

 

Really, it's you jerks here on the boards that are so funny and witty and sharp that I'm addicted more than I've been to the show in decades. That's what it comes down to. And also... big wave to all the soap folks here that I've been chatting with over at Daredevil. Whee! Serial storytelling! It DOES matter!

It was for both, technically. Sonny told her about both incidents in the same scene, although I think the "that must have been so hard . . . for YOU" was the immediate reply after Dante.

I could have sworn it was the car bomb because I was fucking ENRAGED that we had Brenda going all "Poor Sonny!" over that shit given how he lost Lily and his unborn child and Brenda knew all about that mess!

 

But, you know, it could have been about shooting Dante point blank in the chest. Honestly... the whole mess made me Hulk out. Brenda had faults but she was NOT into the mob violence that came with Sonny... especially after almost getting shot to death in the shower. And, I'll be honest, that whole return negated that Brenda had chosen Jax over Sonny repeatedly which was a choice that made sense for HER and they basically wiped that out.

 

Brenda was the one that mattered to me more than Sonny. I prefer women who struggle and deal with their shit (which Brenda did until they basically erased all of that) over men with dimples. I don't care how appealing their dimples are. Jax has dimples too (and a chin dimple!) so he's superior in that regard anyway.

No, Casey actually cared for Robin. If anything, he'd reappear to her in Paris and convince her Lumina is a better option at this point than continually dealing with more Legion of Doom bullshit. 

 

I was referring to her saying VM's Instagram picture was in a GH dressing room, though. I guess it's possible that KMc and VM ARE coming back for the NB and are just teasing each other about something they know and we don't, but I have no idea. VM could have just been visiting the set without taping anything.

It's always kind of made me laugh just how much of a supercouple those two were treated as/became at one point in time, because either one of them--especially Carly--would have little problem dropping each other if who they really wanted came back to them. I mean, they weren't as big as S&B once were, but they did fairly well at one point in the fanbase department.

I always loved VM's explanation that the girl loved Sonny but the woman loved and chose Jax. I hated that that was undone in her last two visits. 

I remember rooting for Sonny/Carly (SBr) because they were both so selfish and narcissistic that they forced the other one to surrender.  Anyone who was less selfish always got swallowed up in a relationship with either one of them so Sonny/Carly worked for me. Plus, I was delighted that the insane S&C fanbase meant that during Brenda's first return TIIC reunited Jax/Brenda

These rumors are killing me.  And I say this as someone who can take or leave Robin, but They BETTER NOT have the audacity to do a tribute to Stone WITHOUT ROBIN there.  I may have lost interest in the Robin character over the years, but Robin and Stone were one of my favorite couples/stories from back in the day.  Doing a NB in honor of Stone when the love of his short life absent is just....wrong.   So they probably will do it.

 

If I have to wait 6 more damn months for Sam to find out Jake is Jason....I will scream.   NO NO NONONONONONONO.  No.
