I had an external fixator (like that) on my wrist following a cycling injury.  It didn't hurt, but I was grossed out every time I looked at it.

While its clear she suffers from depression,  she is also selfish as hell. Her aunt is no spring chicken so to see your aunt  struggle with your weight and continue to eat a family's portion of food? Selfish.
