I think if she dropped 100-150lbs that she would look better. But, until her personality changes she won’t be attractive. Although I do wonder if her hatefulness is, in part, because of her low self-esteem combined with her immaturity. What I don’t get is why Azan keeps going with this mess. I mean I get wanting the cash, but I don’t really see what he gets out this situation. He seems to actively dislike Nicole (and he definitely seems physically repulsed), and he doesn’t even seem that keen to come to the US. So I don’t understand why he’s continuing on with this. He does seem to like Mae. In terms of Nicole’s family, I wonder if they feel they are being held hostage to give into Nicole’s demands because they are terrified they will lose access to Mae? Because Nicole seems to use her daughter as leverage.

I think it’s because it can be tough to find outfits with sleeves that fit. I have a friend who is about 350lbs and she tells me she wears sleeveless in the summer because she’s always hot.

Agreed. I think she thought she’d lose some weight get approved and then keep her approval no matter what she did after that initial weight loss.

I ate a pudding cup tonight before dinner because I was hungry and I needed to wait for a good half hour for my dinner to cook in the oven. Of course the difference being that Rhosanda is at least 570lbs more than me.

Roshanda is acting like a four year old. Her situation sucks. But, it’s self created, which when she’s talking I don’t think she fully grasps.

I loved both rooms. Right now, the only designers I’d want in my house are Ty, Nate, or Jeremiah. I would have never thought about painting trim a very dark color, but it looked great. The fireplace looked awesome as did that built in unit. I felt both homeowners got something worthwhile having in those items. i like Frank, and it was fun to see him, but I didn’t see the point of his appearance. He should serve as a substitute host from time to time, because he’d be great at that.

Not the most exciting episode. I wish they would have combined it with another person. But, I liked that they showed the long-term struggle, and that the emotional issues that these people deal with are life long. And i think like most people who get the surgery, that Melissa thought losing weight would solve her problems. Instead it just exposed them more fully. Unfortunately by that time her self-esteem had been beaten down so much that she thought that she deserved to be treated like crap. She’s someone who I really hope develops more self-confidence, one because she seems like a good person and two because her three kids need to see a healthy level of self-confidence from one of their parents, and it isn’t going to be Chris. I suspect that Melissa does need more emotional and physical help. Chris seems like an absent parent, and I think it has to be overwhelming taking care of three kids when you are that emotionally fragile.

I think she buys pants too small. I suspect her pants probably need tailoring, and she probably doesn’t realize it’s an option or she can’t afford to do that.

She looks really nice with make-up and her hair done.

Yes. But, I also think he probably realizes that for most of his patients a BMI under 25 isn’t achievable.

I think she’s in her 40’s. And if her husband loved her the scars wouldn’t matter. She, unfortunately, married a man who was never ever going to be happy with any woman. He will never be satisfied, and I suspect he will cheat on whoever he’s with no matter what they look like.

She sounds pretty depressed. I hope she gets counseling to help her work on her self-esteem.

I think the fact that he’s seen her have success, she’s kept weight off long-term, and she doesn’t make excuses means she gets more credit from Dr. Now.
