Agreed! The only thing I don't like is her lipstick color LOL Otherwise I think she is SO beautiful - her body is like WOW.

I attend a weekly bible study, and even I roll my eyes at some of the things people in our group ask us to pray for.... then I pray for myself for being so bitchy and eyerolly. ?

Maddie, Shelby, Kendall, Emily,  Jenna (either training camp candidates or former DCC)

Amy, Kelsey, Selina (tried out before)

Am I missing anyone?

That EW article made me LOL from the beginning when she talked about the girls trying to be selected to wear the shiny white boots and "star spangled scraps" ..... Can't wait to read what her recaps are like!

Enjoyed EW article. Nice to see a "love to hate it". Viewers/fans come in all forms. I've read worse about the Real Housewives shows. I didn't take it is as cruel or unfair.

Tasha definitely gives me the "Dallas Girl" look in that photo on SI. Damn Jinelle is fire. I'm not completely sold on Allie, she looks a bit young, Heather H looks better and they have the same baby face look sometimes. Who's the other dark skinned girl who made it? She looks really good.

Michelle Keys has some of the Oxnard footage to "Hands Clap" on her Insta.

Jenna used to have 3 clips of the "Post Up" dance but has since taken them down; there's only one still up. :( I'm obsessed with that routine.

I know Holly is about as polarizing as Tasha, but I think she's a goddess. I know people feel that she is not a group dancer, and that she showboats, which I understand, but I see it as Kelli/Judy said (which always cracked me up): "If you want us to watch you, then....get noticed". Jenn K. After the FB interview I'm wrestling a judgy-bitch demon within. She talked THE ENTIRE TIME and her answers were just....perfect. To the point that I was rolling my eyes a little.  But here's what I keep thinking...the other girls looked visibly uncomfortable, or perhaps just feeling the pressure of a live interview, which would make me barf. So I want to think that she was actually taking one for her friends/teammates by fielding these silly questions!

Yeah, I get wanting the girls to dance as a team and not fighting each other to stand out but at the same time, no one should be asked to dance below their ability. That seems crazy! And I love to watch Holly dance and think her talent is out of this world, but it's not like everyone else suddenly looks terrible compared to her! Erica is also a lot of fun to watch, so is Jenna, Lacey, etc.  

I don't think Jennifer can help it lol Part of me wants to get annoyed with her because she seems to brag a lot (like read her bio sometime, where she talks about how the dance pieces she's choreographed have won countless awards and recognition, etc.)...BUT I don't really think she is bragging. I think she is just very confident and I feel like I should be more encouraging of women who are proud of what they've accomplished, not the usual "oh gosh, me? well, i GUESS I do ok. tee hee. thank you. i mean, i did win an award but it wasnt' my BEST..." So yeah, can't help being team jenny kat! you go, girl!

I wish I could have understood what she was saying. Stupid ads for Rachael Ray "Nutrish" kept running on the other page and wouldn't let me scroll to mute it.  UGH!  I hate ads!!!!!  So, audio from both ran at the same time.  Couldn't understand a word.

Oh kitty. Lindsay looks like Barbie come to life. 

As for boring - she's classically trained from point park and technically amazing. Probably bc she is so tall has been told her whole life to utilize extensions, focus on slow, lyrical Flowy dances, etc. Kitty wants sexy jazz and hip hop.

the solo portion is always so interesting to me because they say over and over "this is when we get to see what the girls are best at!" but it seems like the solos they end up really loving are the more upbeat ones with lots of leaps and tricks and what not.  I don't think most of the judges (who don't care about or know much of technique) appreciate someone like Lindsay who would do a beautiful piece that was slower and more extensions than the tricks, etc.  Does that make sense? I feel like I'm not explaining myself well lol I remember Kitty saying once that if you're going to do lyrical you better be abso-frickin-lutely amazing.

No, you totally make sense. It seems not a lot of people do lyrical because it's not as exciting. Did Kinzie do a lyrical last year and they love it?

I know she did one year and so did Carisa - both got Barbies so obviously they know how to perform it in a WOW way.  I would love to see all of Lindsay's to make my own judgment :-D (I bet peons like me would love it lol)

I just want ALL the solos. Hunter posted a clip on instagram and they feature some of hers.

Jenna and Amy are both really cute girls and seem sweet but their chat was kinda boring (I realize that is not their fault).  I did love that they both mentioned they missed Jacie a ton :)  So if there WAS any sort of drama with her 'leadership ability' (per that one IG post she had a couple of months ago) the other DCC seem to be standing up for her!

Going back to Lindsay...she is a beautifully trained dancer. But if you're going to do an emotional piece (or any piece really) it needs to have emotion and umph behind it. I think she looked somewhat flaccid and needed to dial it up.

Back to the topic, yeah she didn't seem to have any emotion behind it. Lyrical is tough, only a few people can truly pull that off.
