Aw, there was a short behind-the-scenes Psych promo on USA. But don't worry, it was geared toward wrestling fans, so you didn't miss much.

Can't wait until Thursday!

But seriously, I don't know why mine worked...The Gus hot dog one I used was 3.6 mb...does that help at all?

Brag! Brag! Brag!

I don't know how big my gif was; the site kept telling me that I only have a limit of 1500 kb or some such.

That isn't what happened because the ad is back. I think they put it in rotation a few days early.  Or Comcast are evil f@#%$ monsters:)

I keep hitting watch and nothing happens.

Maybe they're waiting to see how many people will tune in and if it's a good number, they'll change their minds and re-air more times? All I know is, it's going on my dvr until it comes out on dvd or bluray!

ETA: @17wheatthins-I challenge you to a gif-OUT!!

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA

Popcorn, eggnog, nachos (or whatever those quesos Shawn and Gus eat), tacos, hot dogs, cheesy fries...

Me? Popcorn, eggnog, pineapple, hot dogs!

Okay kids, I have to go to work again (stupid bills requiring stupid money) and will not see the movie live, but my DVR is all set and ready to go, and I'll be reading here for any spoilers (don't judge, I'm impatient).  With that said, I bow to @GHScorpiosRule, the obvious winner of the gif-off, and I leave you with this:

I missed this show sooooooooooooooooooo much, and the movie didn't miss a beat!

Of course Gus has a Hagrid costume.

Holy crap, that's Vick's kid? Should she be that age, or did they age her up? I hope it's the latter so I don't feel old.

I really hope Gus slapping Shawn with a waffle becomes a .gif. I need it very badly.

Oh, poor Tim. It would have been great to see Lassie running around with the gang again.

Woody is still great.

Yay, Buzz! I was going to riot if he wasn't in this.

That's the most fitting wedding for Shawn.

There was a Bingo game for this. Why did I not know this?

  • Love 6

Oh this was wonderful!!!!! Just like @bettername2come said: it’s like they never left! They all fit in so seamlessly!!!! I was laughing from the minute the show opened!

And the chemistry was still there with EVERYONE! And even though James and Maggie broke up and she’s married, Shawn and Jules were great, and we learned that they never caught the guy who stole the engagement ring!? But now my babies are MARRIED!!!???

And a classic Psych ending!!!!???

Now to go back and choose the funniest quotes!!!

Man, I wish the show would come back, but I’d be more than happy if we got a movie each year or two, just like The Perry Mason Movies!!!!

Yes @Popples, Iris is the right age! She was born in the first season and it’s been 10 years, so she’s 10.

Gus referenced a sandwich that we never saw.  Come on, son.

We did see her give him the fluffernutter sandwich earlier in the movie.

"Let's do what we do best" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *running*  I love, love when they scream  - the first bit with the dog in the haunted asylum was hilarious too.

There did seem to be some odd cutaways but overall it was great - I forgot John Cena was going to be in this so YAY to seeing him again.

I missed Lassie but hope Timothy Omundson is recovering well.

Gus: “I gave the San Francisco detective agency a chance-“

Shawn: “Eleven days, Gus! We were here for eleven days before you got a full-time gig!”

Gus: “Look, how many times do you have to do this? I need security. Security!”

Shawn: “Pfft!” Pause. “Hey man, is that sourdough?”

Gus: “You know damn well it’s sourdough.”

Shawn:”Why don’t you, uh, pass half of that sweet sandy under the table?”

Gus: “You must be out of your damn mind.”

Tim had a stroke? When did this happen?! I had no idea!

It happened last spring just as they were about to begin filming, leading to major rewrites.

I’m glad we got to see Lassiter, but I agree Tim looked a bit rough and was wearing a lot of makeup. However, I was glad to hear his speech was so clear although I suspect there was some movie magic involved in the filming since we only saw him via facetime on Juliet’s phone.

  • Love 7

Love that the movie ended on a cliffhanger like the series. The adventure continues. I kind of wish the Lassie cameo had just been a voice because a) do we really use Facetime that often in real life? and b) I want to believe Lassie didn't have a stroke and it's hard to believe that when he looked like he did. Like the Iris actress and am impressed they accurately remembered her name. She seems older than 11, though. Loved Karen being excited for adventures. Mixed feelings about using Mena Suvari's character again. On the one hand, I enjoyed the Yin/Yang plot. On the other hand, she represents my least favorite episode of it. But it was a great Jules/Allison fight like last time. Love that they included Buzz. Henry the Hipster was awesome. Love the Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms references (the 90s references I can get). Love that Jules and Shawn finally got married. Loved Gus's "She deserves the best version of you" speech. My OTPs are really rocking it right now. Oh, and Sam Huntington! What a lovely surprise! They got me all excited when he didn't die at first and then he did! Ah! My poor heart. The new girl for Gus was just okay. Honestly she seems a little crazy and I'd need more time to see if she mellowed out. Kind of made me miss Parminder Nagra's character for Gus. Black Gentleman Ninja! And he truly was a gentleman in the end. Wish Ewan could've had a scene with Jules, but that was an awesome end. Oh, and Vick as Juliet's maid of honor! I feel deprived that we didn't get to hear Gus's best man speech.

I'm so happy with this. I really feel like this might be the best reunion movie I've ever seen.

*sniff*

The show has always been about James and Dulé for me and it totally delivered there.

I rewound but couldn't make out what Ewan was saying about the wedding present at the very end when they run up the stairs.  Maybe I'll get it when I rewatch but would appreciate it if anyone can help out.

I also liked Black Gentleman Ninja and that Juliet of course got to kick ass.

  • Love 4

That was so much fun. I was expecting quirky but the case definitely took a dark turn like the Yin and Yang episodes. I went from laughing my ass off to being terrified, and then teary eyed. So many emotions but definitely worth it. I was bummed when we didn't get to see Buzz, but then there he was in the flashbacks. So many great cameos, and I enjoyed gentleman black ninja. Hope he makes an appearance in the next movie.

"Hello, my name is Burton Guster and this is my partner White Privilege." There has to be a gif for this!

They actually had a whole storyline planned for Lassie before Tim got sick. They even changed filming locations to be closer to his rehab center so he wouldn't be left out entirely. The plan is to build the next movie around the Lassie content they weren't able to use. I follow Tim on Twitter (which I highly recommend, the man is hilarious) and after his stroke his tweets were difficult to read. Now he seems to be having no problems in that regard. But according to his messages, the entire cast and crew really rallied around him, which made me love them even more than I already did. I have the movie DVRd to watch tonight and I can't wait.

  • Love 14

I really loved that we got the original show opening credits from season one to season eight and that it was the extended version!!

I was really hoping we’d get to see “Mr. Vick!”? Maybe next time.

Selana reminded me of Mira with her whackadooness, But I really liked her. Hell, there’s nothing I didn’t like or love!

  • Love 7

The plotting and pacing weren't exactly smooth, but the characterizations, dialogue and exuberant fun interspersed with blasts of real poignancy made this nearly perfect to me anyway! (At times I wasn't even entirely sure what was going on, but that might be due more to my fatigue and low comprehension levels than the writing.)

I've always really loved Juliet and was thrilled to see her get so much focus here. I was more invested in the Jules/Shawn romance than I was through most of the original series. Damn, now I'm going to have to write terrible Shules fanfic ;)

I love Lassie so much and was glad they found a way to work him in despite Tim's stroke. Jules' phone call to him was such a beautiful and perfect scene, and Maggie getting choked up while talking to him felt so real.

I loved seeing more warm and vulnerable sides of Vick, an even more quirky yet still very Henry-ish Henry, and the usual love letters to all things '80s.

As always, the Gus-Shawn bond is everything. I love these people so much and love how much they love each other!

What? What? Is it just me? I had no problem understanding what the case was about? Well, once Juliet let Gus and Shawn in and she "confessed" to have bent the rules (which, I never saw her do on the show, but okay), and the revelation that her snitch who helped her, ended up in jail too. So it was revenge.

The only thing that I thought didn't make sense was Juliet catching Iris shoplifting. I thought that might play into the main plot, but it didn't.

And frankly, I don't think I've ever cared what the cases were about unless it affected our team personally. I've made no secret of the fact that I was going to be in regardless of the plot, just to see Shawn and Gus again. And with Franks AND James Roday writing the script, I knew it wouldn't disappoint.

I really loved Gus's "I KNOW!" to Shawn-in that high pitched voice. And "I don't care!" That was new. And I absolutely lost it when Gus said "Neooo" near the end, impersonating Tim Curry's "Neoo" when they were all speaking with British accents.

If I was disappointed in anything, it was we didn't get any "Psych-Outs" at the end--you know, the bloopers!

I must admit I haven't been able to find any gifs from the movie yet. Sigh...I am a technoturd after all, but here's some Shawn and Gus Goodness!
