Yeah, you'd think her fans would be posting more. Here and other places. Hell even Sonja gets more action on here than Luann does.

I don't think popularity has anything to do with how many people post on 'their thread'. 

Now, who wants to go back and count name mentions on every thread.  There's a project.  Popularity has nothing to do with posts.  Beth gets a lot of posts.  Does that mean she's popular?  Nope.  IMO, many of the posts are about how ridiculous she is.  Same goes for Ro and So.

Yeah but Andy isn't going to fire a Housewife because people hate them.  He has said that he loves having people on the show that people love to hate. The problem is when people hate to hate them. Whether or not you like Bethenny, people talk about her A LOT. They aren't going to get rid of that.

Exactly. It isn't about "popularity" in terms of how much people like them on the show. It's how much interest folks have in what they have going on. On the show and off. Of course there are lots of examples of gals that Bravo has discarded that get a lot of traffic on their pages. Usually these are gals that get into trouble with the rest of the cast or with production (Brandi, Aviva) and then they are just toast. 

Personally, I think Lu will be fine because I think that they will bring Jill back. I could be completely wrong, but the signs I see point in that direction. If Jill is back, it makes all the sense in the world to keep Lu right where she is on the show.

Beth for all of her faults, is the most dynamic personality in Rhony, imo.

Luann stated on the one and only "Before They Were Housewives Special", she has a lot going on outside the RH.  She doesn't live it 365 days a year.  I believe there are many who once the show wraps or when they break as they do on this show for three weeks it is not about the show-it is about their families their vacations and in Luann's case this year her wedding and honeymoon.  Luann posted pictures she had a People special and she had some crappy pre wedding parties.  Look at Kyle she is the PR person for RHOBH, and she has a lot going on besides the show.  I am probably the one who adds the most to her page on PTV because I post pictures of her dogs all the time or her throwback photos.  I never did it though to up shore up some page count on the site.  The smart RH, manage a drive by during the off season for their franchise, on WWHL or work their way into a crossover on another franchise. 

Ramona is one that has very little going on in her life.  Her big deal is by hook or crook she will get a Page Six item.  I don't think she can rat out a fellow RHONYC, so she is going back to making an ass out of herself and getting mentioned.  I don't think anyone really follows her.  She seems to be hanging with Missy Pool these days-someone who will never be a RHONYC.  Officially I believe Missy's party has brought an end to white macramé dresses.  I guess I could mention Ramona's shoes look ridiculous.

I agree with you about Jill, it takes so very little in the way of excited fan feedback for Andy to bring somebody back.  Nene and Kim RHOA, Gretchen and Lydia RHOC, Camille RHOBH.  I don't know if they can have both Bethenny and Jill on or maybe it is time for there to be a two group dynamic-although I don't think either group really wants Ramona.

Sadly, Jill could be back next season. Not that I'd enjoy it, Jill is probably one of my least favorite HWs across the entire franchise, but given how Andy seems to be bringing back former HWs (he already has here, Atlanta, and OC, and there are rumors about former HWs returning to New Jersey and BH as well), it wouldn't be too shocking if she returned next season.

I only see Jill making another "cameo". However, if it does happen - I want to see Luann's face when they announce Luann you are a friend of and Jill is on as a HW.

The only other HW I see in jeopardy is Sonja. I could see her demoted or even fired and replaced with Tinsley.

Event took place at the High Line Hotel on January 27th, 2017

In Vermont, Carol reads Jason Hoppy was arrested - January 27th, 2017.

I wonder if all the ladies are in VT or if Bethenny already left to pick up Brynn the night before. We know if Carole and Dorinda are in Vermont they sure left sometime that day to get to the Fashion Show

It's all wonky, and I am not sure why. For whatever reason, it looks like the Vermont trip happened after the arrest. Beth, Dorinda and Carole all posted pics of them in Vermont on Jan 31st and Feb. 1st. They could have just been posting pics after the fact, but Dorinda's was actually a video of them skiing. And in looking at their social media accounts, they were all in other places betweent the 23-36th, so they could not have been in Vermont skiing in the days right before the arrest or on the day of the arrest. There is another picture that was posted of Tinsley and Beth hanging out in NY on the 27th, the day of the arrest. Not sure why they would run these out of sequence this way. Strang to say the least.

My friend has a blog. She can run various reports to see how many clicks she gets for each article or pic she posts. Outside companies look at this kind of data. My friend is solicited by various designers and big chain stores to advertise on her site or to write about something from their product line. Not only does she get free product but she also gets paid. Say I go to her site and click on the Target Ad and I make a purchase - she gets a commission on that too.

Without the clicks, you are basically dead in the water. I'm sure this forum could tell you which site has the most traffic. Bravo has always been big in Social Media - they were the frontrunners in using Twitter as an Interactive Tool to Watch the show - It started with Talk Bubble on RHNY. This was one of the main reasons Andy Cohen is the Golden Child of Bravo.

This is why Bethenny will always be welcome to stay on the RHNY franchise. She drives the traffic. She is discussed on every thread even on threads that are dedicated on another HW, heck she even gets talked about on other franchises. When Luann was first doing interviews about her engagement to Tom, the reporters always asked whether or not Bethenny would be invited to her wedding or where are you with your relationship with Bethenny

Misled only as to Carole not directing the question at a specific individual.  She still brings up the topic.  Again why does she go there? I guess I don't follow her logic about Truth or Dare being too easy to lie. Is there some alternative truth serum game?  Why do they have to play a game?  Why not just ask questions about what is going on in their lives? 

 I really don't think it all that old fashion to not want to discuss anal sex over dinner.  The women are sitting there eating their salad.

They are playing the game because it is fun. Maybe not for everyone, but some like it. It's not anymore complex than that.

Not sure, but I am not one who thinks it is such a big deal in the context of a game. Others have mentioned that the topic is extremely personal and shocking, much more personal I am assuming than asking about an income tax deduction. I wouldn't compare the two, but I am sure that mileage will vary on that. So my guess is that she was using the example of something personal that one might feel the need to lie about vs. being honest. Just a guess.

I guess I'm really old but I've never had a conversation with my girlfriends about anal sex or any other kind of sex. That's personal between my husband and myself and always has been. Sometimes I think the boundaries have fallen too far in today's society. Just look at the clothing worn by Hollywood people, music people and just regular people posted online and on facebook. I don't need to see your nude body and you surely don't want to see mine. Could we have some dignity in our private lives or is that too much to ask nowadays?

It's not to much to ask. Everyone should do what they feel comfortable doing. But if you want some dignity in your private life, a Reality TV gig probably isn't the best idea (in most cases). Most of us wouldn't do half of the things these HW's do, starting with inviting a film crew into our homes, and putting on a mic. Forget talk of sex (I think conversations about sex with my best girlfriends are some of the greatest talks ever), the things that make me roll my eyes are things like taking a film crew with you to get a bikini wax. And some of my favorite HW's have done this.

For sure. As I said, I'm old and some of this stuff is just over the top for me. I'm sure my kids would disagree among their friends. I just look back at my younger years (and theirs) and see so many changes that are not for the better, IMO.

Good for her. I wouldn't want to live in hotel, but I am sure she won't stay where I could afford to, which would be the Hampton Inn. It seems like a good first step for her in getting back her independence. And now Sonja can have her closet back. Geez. Nice to see Beth being supportive of her.
