It’s not so much I give them sympathy as it is I’d be mortified if my parents saw me acting like that, although I’m sure Whitney couldn’t careless and they’ve probably seen a lot worse.  I personally don’t get a famewhore vibe from them...well at least Glenn.  I’ve always thought he does this so his entire retirement savings doesn’t go to supporting Whitney.  Babs, I could see a wanting to be on TV based on her personality.  I agree they’re both enablers.  I do find it amusing the actual “actor”, Hunter, barely appears on the show....not that I’d want to associate with it either.

I have no clue who exactly Natalie is, but she appears to be younger, has way nicer eyebrows, makeup skills, a better smile, and her two front teeth don't resemble those of a woodchuck. Whitney is her twin the way I am Elizabeth Hurley's twin. We're both...brunettes.

The only time I thought Whitney looked like Natalie is that Torrid flower bikini pic someone posted a months back.  It’s because Natalie’s Head is turned to the side and I didn’t think so many people would buy that flower atrocity. Face on you see Natalie is much pretty and has nicer hair.

I have found that most people don’t look past the very superficial when saying whether people look alike or not. Whit and Natalie ‘look alike’ in that they are both morbidly obese and have long brown hair with lighter ends. Their faces look a bit similar mostly because of their weight. I’m inclinded to agree with thyme posters who say Natalie is prettier but I find Whit so repulsive as a person I no longer can be objective on how she looks. In the photos we see the both tend toward that ‘we are the most funnest people on the planet’ face too. Ugh. 

But do they actually look alike, no. I am white and my husband isn’t so my kids are darker than me. My girls have a LOT of physical characteristics of me but so many people look at them and immediately say they look like their dad because they are brown. And I live in a very ethnically diverse place so it isn’t just a lack of seeing non-white people. People just look very superficially.

I was shocked when someone told me that in some instances, it goes beyond foreplay to actual sex on the dance floor. Numerous instances of chaperones at proms kicking kids out of the prom. Some schools have even banned it at their dances.

Twerking isn't dancing. Twerking is stupid and it's foreplay but I wouldn't call it dancing. The fact that Whitney thinks it's dancing shows she is not now nor has she ever been a dancer. If we determine that twerking is dancing, then the definition of dancing becomes 'shaking your body'.

The only other time I have seen twerking was certain tacky wimmens on the Maury show (I've accidentally clicked on that channel). Those were "adults," too... 30, 40+ years old. Gives you an idea of the class of people who engage in this "dance."

What state? It's a big problem where I work. It would be okay if people would stay home and not do it while driving or working...........but, they don't. Just like alcohol or prescription drugs, it's affecting their ability to function in public while high. Of course I'm in public safety so, I hear all the stops and arrests.

That's so funny, same thing happened to me.  I'm an older larger woman and my coworker is the same, we both wear glasses and have shortish brown hair.  I remember these customers young girls looking at us and asking each other "Are they twins?"

There is no hope for him. Just look at that workout. He made Whitney look good. What kind of man his age can’t do a little workout much better than that. He probably didn’t want to do it but if you know it’s going to be filmed you’d think you would at least put in some effort.

I was curious as to why a college would accept a 250-# woman into its dance program, so I went to Wikipedia to read about Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT).

Well, of course Twit was accepted! Its emphasis is on therapy, not dance, as opposed to what Twit implies.

From Wikipedia: "DMT [is] categorized as a form of psychotherapy. . . .The theory of DMT is based mainly upon the belief that body and mind interact. Both conscious and unconscious movement of the person, based on the dualist mind body premise, affects total functioning, and also reflects the individual’s personality. Therefore, the therapist-client relationship is partly based on non-verbal cues such as body language. Movement is believed to have a symbolic function and as such can aid in understanding the self. Movement improvisation allows the client to experiment with new ways of being and DMT provides a manner or channel in which the client can consciously understand early relationships with negative stimuli through non-verbal mediation by the therapist."

Now, I suppose it's possible the college course was designed to train ppl to become DMT therapists rather than designed as a therapeutic remedy. Even so, it still makes more sense that a morbidly obese woman would be an acceptable enrollee.

Of course, Twit's rabid fans' "eyes welled up with tears" upon reading her essay because she, once again, is such an inspiration to one and all.

Interesting.  I wonder if she was aware that she was going to study to become a therapist and not a dancer? BTW my freshman college roommate had entered the dance program, she was a professional since she had been a Rockette for a while but was about 30 lb overweight so she decided to go to college. She said it was pure drudgery dancing at Rockefeller Center.

Dot, as the sm information specialist I was wondering about the family of super fans from NJ. I'm not sure I saw many photos of them with her except for the dance competition and possibly the night before sailing. Have they commented on how wonderful the cruise was? Or, do they usually not do that?

@Me from ME, the Stambergers ALWAYS comment about the cruise(s). These comments occur when Twit starts plugging her next cruise live-stream. Nicole is always one of the first to chime in. At least once Twit has used an app to include a headshot & audio of Nicole during a cruise plug.

Since I don't follow the Stambergers' FB page(s), I don't know what Nicole says there. But I bet it's effusive as this family is totally enthralled by Twit.

Great observation SevenConstanza. But consider who is filming her and who is not being attentive to Babs. I think that's the dynamic. Glenn and Twit to the exclusion of Babs. I think Babs realized that her daughter wasn't particularly adept and no one else cared to watch yet Glenn is encouraging that behavior by filming. I'm guessing Babs was happy when Twit moved out into her own place and not so overjoyed when her overbearing daughter moved in after returning from Korea.
