So far it looks like Whitney or Tal and one other cruiser is "dancing" in the middle of a circle of onlookers. There doesn't seem to be much audience participation.

 Her dancing is just ridiculous, hair whips, senshus moves, and butt shakes. Exactly who judged this competition? The nitwhits?

So this dance-off is an annual event -- Jonathan is very persistent in that regard. Even tho, as you can see, he's a worse dancer than Twut.

I find this family fascinating. The first year Nicole posted many photos & let it be known she was determined to get her money's worth by trailing Twit & Gang at all opportunities, including at dinner where Todd shared his bottle of wine with her. During the rest of the year, if Twit live-streams on SM, Nicole & her bro will be the first to comment., so I assume she monitors Twit's SM pages 24/7. The family seems very proprietary about Twit.

Ugh, so now I am thinking about her dancing. Have we seen her take a dance class since the season of the dance off/belly dancing/ballroom dance competition? Isn't it customary to continue to learn even when one is a "professional"? It seems as if she is just making things up as she goes along and her technique and choreography are deteriorating as a result.

I realize I’m old, but what she does isn’t dancing. It certainly doesn’t require training or skill. It’s just wiggling. 

 

Also - does Instagram automatically put the location on the post or is that something the user enters? Because there is no such thing as the Caribbean Ocean

Thanks for answering the question....I was unfamiliar with this family.  I guess this explanation makes Whit look a little better in that she didnt win a contest she created on her own cruise.  I’m not sure what to say about this family’s actions so I guess I won’t say anything other than that was the worst dance-off I’ve ever seen, and this includes the one with Gia/Jia on the show.

I think that is reflective of the stellar Appalachian State education she received. As a person who frequently crosses the Atlantic Ocean by ship I took exception to a previous Instagram where she  gåve her location as being the self same Atlantic.

I do not know why I suddenly have a Danish Keyboard.

Guess that answers my question. I wasn’t sure if the Instagram developers were that stupid or if it was Whit. Should have known. 

Whit, since we know you read here,  there are only 5 oceans. Here is a little poem to help you remember. My kids learned it when they were 6. You will notice Caribbean is not on this list.

The Pacific is largest of all.              

The Indian starts at Bengal

The Atlantic Ocean is always in motion

The Arctic and Southern are small.

Hey, you left out the part where she rubs her hands over her boobs and grins salaciously.

Interesting to know that the guy she was dancing at is some version of a superfan, because I thought he looked mildly revolted when she lunged at him and kissed him on the mouth.

Stamberger is an unusual name. The next time I became aware of Super Fan Nicole was on one of Twit's first live-streams shortly after the 1st cruise. Twit made a point of talking about how the Stambergers had been on that cruise & she continues to do so on every live stream. So I just notice Nicole every time she comments on Twit's SM pages, going on 3 years.

And, yeah, I know. It's kinda nutty on my part. ?????

Thanks - this site is my biggest SM participation, so I'm not sure about what else is out there.  Thank goodness or I'd be starting to follow the Stambergers too :). Keep us updated on them!

Honestly I can't snark on this.  Do I want to go and participate?  No.  But this looks like a group of women having a great time and enjoying themselves, many of whom may not normally have the confidence to get out and enjoy the world in the body they're in.  Maybe some of them will feel better about themselves as a result of participating, and people who feel better about themselves are more likely to make better choices and live happier lives.  I hope they have a great time.

Agree they're having fun and that's good.  But to the extent they are Twit fans it is *less* likely they will go on to make better choices.  She's just demonstrating how to kill yourself as quickly as possible and to suffer while you're doing it.

I agree I hope they have fun and hope it creates an environment to do so.  I still think the dance-off was horrible, but I guess the guy and crowd enjoyed it. I can’t tell if the guy’s expression at the end is good or bad, but I’m guessing it was positive for him.  I thought he looked shocked, but not in a disgusted way, but the video cutoff.  Honestly, I don’t even begrudge Whitney having a good time.  I do think flinging your clothes off during cruise events is weird, and I mean literally flinging them off, and twirling them in a circle.  I guess the guests can’t claim ignorance, since Whitney showed up at the dinner/formal party in a sports bra last year.  Now, I’m guessing the whole passenger list is not made up of Whitney or No BS people, so I do wonder what those people think.  I mean suppose you’re on the upper deck watching Whitney strip off her shirt and gyrate, what goes through your mind, I mean this can’t be normal cruise behavior, or is it?

I only took one cruise.  It was during grad school with some friends and we cruised from San Diego to Cabo during spring break.  The boat sponsored stuff like a hairy chest contest, a lap dance contest, wet t-shirt contest and just generally a lot of debauchery with drinking.  I had a girl throw up in my hair at the pool one day because she drank too much.     Not all cruises are like this but there definitely are people who go on cruises who would find Whitney doing a strip show fun or just no big deal and plenty would just join right in.   I've definitely seen worse and anyone who does care can to bingo or afternoon tea or any of the other "wholesome" activities on the cruise.  That's probably not for everyone (and not really my thing even then) but really, everyone is on the boat to have a good time and probably don't care a lot what someone else is doing.

I don’t get the boob grab. Why are people not more bothered by it? Do people just roll their eyes and figure there is no point in saying anything or do these people really like being felt up by Whitney? I can’t fathom touching even a super close friend’s boob like that.

I don't know about you, but I dance with my dad like this ALL. THE. TIME. 

 

 

 

This choreography reminds me of something like Romy and Michelle in the club, doing a coordinated dance. Or an SNL skit, I can't decide.

Whitney then heaves herself into the bathroom, where she needs to shimmy sideways to reach the toilet, relieves herself, drip dries and then stands in front of her mirror, hands unwashed with cheeto dust and presses down on the tape extensions to hold yet another day. She waddles out the side door and heaves herself into her car. She stops by Babs and Glen's makes small talk of how fabulous her workouts are going as Glenn thinks to himself his porker hasn't lost a pound. She then leaves and drives through Starbucks for her "nonfat" frappuccino and scone. Secretly wishing for a stop light so she can get a big ol bite and swig. She circles the block to finish scone and drink, and scours the bottom of her purse for a tic tac to rid mouth of anything chocolate smelling and the pall mall she had after breakfast.  She does her work outs and then goes to car to have another smoke and post workouts and speeds them up so her fans don't fall asleep bored.  She now feels accomplished she worked out and burned 600 calories, so she stops at Micky D's and orders 2 orders of chicken mcnuggetts and a small fry and diet soda. She smiles to herself how proud she is that she only opted for a small fry.  She now goes back home and takes a nap. She wakes up just in time for Jeff Glor and decides to order a pizza or 3. She thinks to herself she could maybe you tube some dance moves to add to a new routine that her and Todd will steal.  After all the pizza, she will then check her messages on instagram, answer and dodge a few questions ( eg. Where is Donna ? ) and then feed cats and head to bed.

Do they have any activities that don’t involve everyone just watching Whitney shake her ass around? No one else is doing anything. Its all just people standing there watching. I hope during the day everyone is doing their own thing and enjoying the cruise. 7 days of being a  backup cheerleader for Whitney would be a terrible way to spend a cruise.

Her sexuality is just so entitled. It has nothing to do with body-shaming to say do not touch women's breasts in public and smirk for the camera, do not kiss someone unexpectedly without mutual consent, do not film a guy as he tries to work out, etc. I tried to figure what is about Whitney that is not simply annoying, but actively disturbing. While it's mean how she views her fans as targets for blatant money-grabs, it's actively disturbing how she goes around touching people constantly. If a guy acted this way, touching and harassing, he'd eventually wind up in court. She uses "body shaming" as her catch-all defense to allow her any sort of conduct.

One thing I do wonder is what Babs and Glenn to a lesser extent really think of the rest of the passengers.  I know Whitney post her mom and dad interacting with the guess but imo Babs often bodyshames Whitney and Glenn has made it fairly clear that men of a certain caliber wouldn’t go for Whitney due to her weight. I do wonder if the comments are directed towards her because she’s their daughter and how much is because she’s morbidly obese.  As I mentioned, I don’t keep up with social media, but her parents seem fairly popular on there, so I wonder if the snarky comments are saved for Whit or her fans are too dumb to pick up on it.  I only use the term dumb, because Whitney will post a pic from when she’s 18....says she was 18 and the fans will line up to say, “Wow! You look so skinny, are you losing weight?” like it’s a current picture.  I don’t think Glenn or even Babs would be outright mean to the passengers but do wonder if the snark is ever there. Of course the ought be happy these people have given Whitney a job for the past several years because I’m not really sure what else she’s qualifed for in her current state.

I think this is the regular state for Babs and Glenn. They put up with anything just to keep her from being fully dependent on them. They know they are going to have to support her with the TLC gravy train leaves town so they are helping her keep it going as long as possible. I also suspect that anyone associated with Whitney, especially Babs and Glenn, spend a lot of their time doing thing for Whitney or keeping their mouth shut about Whitney because it's the path of least resistance. In just the few times we've seen it, when someone stands up to Whitney or declines to do her bidding, she throws a tantrum that puts a 2 year old to shame. So their choice is deal with that, or just grin and bear it. Unfortunately it looks like 'grin and bear it' has won so many times in Whitney's life she now controls everyone around her.

Twit believes she can dance. Heather believes she can sing. Todd believes he can sing & dance. Tal believes he can sing & dance & play the guitar. All of them were involved in community theater as teens. Then they were thirty-somethings, suddenly living their performance arts dream, bc of Twit, even tho they could be considered amateurish at best.

So, no. They are not just putting up with Twit. They are hanging on to her for dear life, social barnacles that they are, bc when she goes, so do they.

Buddy didn't participate in theater as a teen & doesn't pretend to having any talents now. But he's no better than the rest. He's a fat slob who is too lazy to get a job as long as he can live off Twit's largesse.

Yeah, like the faux funeral intervention. I've seen similar tantrums from 18 month old children.
