I'm not surprised (although I'm a little shocked). It seems other HWs, or Bravolebrities played the role of Roxy (Ariana Maddix, Lisa Renna), or participated on Broadway musicals (Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss from the Atlanta HWs). It's a sign of the times. They are preferred because audiences are familiar with them.

Broadway tickets aren’t always cheap; especially for a decent seat. I’m sure these tv and movie personalities are brought in to sell more tix to their fans. Do they get paid handsomely for their guest spots? I’ve always heard that Broadway performers don’t make a ton of money compared to someone on a tv show or has a movie career. I hope she isn’t taking money away from another actress whose income is playing Roxy. 
My friend was just saying yesterday that she’s ready for us to go to NYC to see some shows plus I want to go to the Hayden Planetarium (I’ve been to all the art and history museums and galleries multiple times) Hmm..should I take one for the team? My friend has no idea who Erika is so it would be a honest perspective.

I too thought about going, the ticket prices are high but maybe the TKTS stand will have half price tickets. I haven't been to NYC in forever, should we plan a Prime timer field trip?

That could be fun. I’d be coming up with my friend who’s a hoot. We could all meet up. I’ll talk to her to see what her schedule is and get back to you. BTW, I doubt she even knows who Erika Jane is as she never watches Bravo. To her it would all be about the show Chicago.

I would totally meet you in NYC, you should prepare your friend with Erika's whole back story about how she got the roll of Roxy Hart by using funds stolen from accident victims, allegedly.

My friend’s career has been as a court recorder. She’s get it in a heartbeat. She has even worked in the White House. I’ll keep you posted.

My DVR recorded Season 11. Erika looks soooo bad at the reunion. She has jowls, and her dress looks like she found it in a dumpster behind TJMaxx.

Wow. I'm a little jealous. I have always had NYC as number one on my list of U S. cities I want to visit. Probably will never have the opportunity.

Tom Girardi and Erika were both sued in 2020 for the 2018 Lion Air plane crash for allegedly embezzling settlement funds intended to help the victims/their relatives. The documents were served at their Pasadena house. She can't deny she knew since at least 2020. Her conflicting statements on the show (that she was either involved in the law firm, or that she was the dumb blonde who didn't even know how to use a debit card) are not convincing. Didn't she realize huge amounts of money from lawsuits ended up in her own company (EJ Global LLC) account? A lawyer's share is not that large.

She legally separated after this lawsuit in order not to be responsible anymore for the marital debt (from then on).

This is unbelievable - what happened to redecorating the house she's in currently with the high end designer?  

And, is she that smart with her paycheck and investments to be able to pay cash for a large home?   

What happened to loving the small, cozy space she's currently living in?  Why does a woman with only one adult child need a six bedroom house?  One bedroom for her, one for guests, one for her son (if he visits) and the other three will be closets?  GMAFB!!!!  

Lastly, when I read this, my first thought was that I hope this house is not in one of the areas being horribly affected by the wildfires in and around LA right now.   I'm not a fan of Erika's, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

She wouldn't be able to get a mortgage, and a cash purchase is shady in this case. Are they funds she and Tom stashed that belong to Tom Girardi's clients? Is it a gift from a new boyfriend? I wouldn't think a new boyfriend would be so generous, so fast.

Legal experts think she will file for personal bankruptcy soon because she is responsible for debt Tom Girardi and her accumulated as a couple. She will always be responsible for paying for back taxes. He filed for personal bankruptcy, and his law firm did too (or was forced to).

ETA: does she really need such a large house? It seems her habits didn't change, and her legal problems didn't change her either. Unfortunately.

Exactly.  Just a short time ago she was ordering her Mom to wash her own coffee cup since she can't afford a housekeeper more than one day a week; there is no way she went from renting a poolhouse to cash buying a multi million dollar house in a couple years.   And this would be her FIRST house since as far as I can tell she's never owned a house in her single name. 

Against all odds (she's in her 50s) she undoubtedly  found herself another ancient wallet to bankroll her life.  That she  wants it to look like she bought it herself most likely means either he or she doesn't want to acknowledge the "relationship" in public.  Nice.
