The biggest reason I think Steam got popular in 2012 was because you had Steffy telling Liam that you didn't need to rush into marriage to patch up your relationship. Regardless of her self-serving motivations, they really had no business being married and their issues still persisted once Wyatt entered the picture. Dunno why Liam has to rush back in with Steffy to raise his kid.

It's OBVIOUS why this show does not win awards. The writing is pure Crap. It's a shame that the talented actors have to try and make these story lines go anywhere.  The writers obviously suffer from permanent writer's block, that's why we constantly hear the same thing over and over and over and over. Move on the Horse was dead a long time ago. Move on!!!! The whining has gone on long enough.

How about this, Steph learns her baby is really Bill's not Liam's because of DNA test on the girls for some kind of medical issue, remember Bill's soldiers had a several hour head start night. Hope jumps off the cliff in complete despair taking Thomas with her as he tries to stop her (good way to get rid of Thomas and stop the whining).

Dr Brady comes back to LA to hoist a game show tells the police let's make a deal.

Come on writers get creative don't waste good acting talent.

The reason we have so many reality TV shows is the lack of good script writers.

Today's show ...

Hmmm ... if Wyatt stopped thinking with his "little head" for two seconds and honed in on why Flo is so personally vested in and upset about Hope and Liam, he might learn the truth. Once he knew that he and Flo were again home alone, he couldn't shut her up or distract her fast enough.  She looked HOT in that skintight powder blue jumpsuit, which was bordering on obscenely tight. In a couple of months, we'll see Steffy sporting and identical one ... in BLACK.

Speaking of ... First off, I am not body-shaming anybody. I think it's great that new mothers are proud to flaunt their bodies while pregnant and in those difficult months immediately after giving birth (i.e. Meghan Markle.) But ... that outfit JMW had on today was horrific. There was no way she could wear a properly fitting bra under that handkerchief crop top and the cut of those athletic pants gave her bulgy saddlebags, when she clearly had/has none. But kudos to her for allowing her still not-quite-flat stomach to show. She looks great for having had a baby just months ago, But ... the spray tan was tooooo much.  She also looks like she's had some more forehead injections because her eyes are slanting upwards again.

KUDOs to Liam for standing up to Sludge's pressure. "Grandpa" needs to STFU. Liam just reluctantly ended his marriage the night before and Sludge pressures him about his "plans." (i.e., does Liam plan to reconcile/move in with Steffy immediately.) I am so glad that Liam shut that shit down and said that he was still processing everything and basically taking it one day at a time. He also fired back a good shot when he said that Steffy "doesn't need him" because she's doing just fine on her own. So, take several seats, Greaseball. 

Poor Brooke is at her wit's end with Hope. She tried to talk to Hope again today to convince her to change her mind, but Hope ain't havin' none of that. She joylessly and robotically insisted that any dreams she and Liam had for a family died with Beth and that they needed to do what's "best for the children." Chilling to see Hope and Sludge erroneously on the same page. Brooke and Ridge had another disagreement over the musical family situation which had Brooke in tears, but she looked gorgeous in a cream and black print blouse and cream trousers.

At the end of the show, Flo and her jumpsuit dropped in on Hope and Flo told Hope how guilty she feels about everything. This was after frantically trying to convince Hope to not end her marriage and try to have or adopt another child. At least Hope had the presence of mind to question the :"guilty" remark, and as Flo was forming an answer, that was the end of the show.

We all know that either Brooke or Thomas will drop by on Flo and Hope or Hope will (again) interrupt Flo, or Flo will get cold feet (again) and pull some tepid answer out of her ass.

Are we supposed to believe Hope is suffering from PPD?  This show isn't particularly subtle when it comes to mental illness, e.g., Katie's PPD and Pam's issues.  Obviously, anyone who has sustained the kind of trauma she has (Liam has too but there's no concern for him) would be depressed.  But no one has mentioned anything about Hope's mental health since Taylor suggested Hope see a therapist months ago.  She seems to be in this weird place between normal and clinically depressed where she's just . . . sad.  Is that what we're supposed to think?

I can see where this is going now.  Liam will sex up Steffy, Hope will find out the truth and run to Liam.  Steffy will end up pregnant, but Liam will get back together with Hope, and everyone will tell Steffy to get over it.

IKR? What I don't get is why the shitty actors get the prime time and big screen offers.  The soap pages and spoilers have all but guaranteed that Xander is going to be killed off and mainly because the actor has received juicier offers outside of soapland. Same for that guy who played Zende.  Then, a decent actress like Kim Matula, has worked hard and landed a role on a good comedy with veteran actors. I don't think it's an acting choice that they both go into a half-who-the-hell-knows-what accent sometimes, I think it's just force of habit from the past and a lack of retakes for their scenes.

Current spoilers hint that this will wrap up before the end of summer, so the end is in site, I think.

Thing is, for all that people have been livid at how long this has gone on, six months is on the short end of switch stories. Scotty was a year old before Lauren had any idea he was still alive and there were ones on the ABC shows that stayed hidden for years. 

But with all of those, the key to that working was to redirect the focus and let the mother get a little bit of piece. Even Y&R at the peak of it's Bash Sharon BS allowed her to begin to move on before kicking open that's hornet's nest. Hope is still stuck where she was in January. Real life doesn't follow a timeline for recovery, and I'm living, breathing proof of that. But I don't tune into TV for "gritty realism" which is almost always code these days for torture porn. I want entertainment.

Agreed!  I think a big part of the problem is that ALL of the stories are centered around the switch.  I remember as a kid watching Y&R, GL, etc. - there'd be some huge cliff-hanger and then when I'd watch the next day, there wouldn't even be a mention of that story.  Instead it's Mope, Mope, Mope, every freaking day.  If she's not on, the others are talking about her.  In RL, I'd have all the sympathy in the world, but it's a soap.  Show me something else, for heaven's sake!

Imagine how much different it would be if Wally were rebuilding Spectra, and Thomas had been brought back as a spoiler in THAT relationship (which would actually make sense).  Maybe Eric and Quinn or Maya could have an actual storyline of their own.  These people all supposedly run a fashion house.  How about a business story?  Or at least a fashion show?

Instead it's like we're stuck on the slowest runaway train of all time.  Bell is rushing through all the beats of the story, while simultaneously making it drag on forever.

I have the feeling this particular choice is more for the the benefit of the upcoming whodunnit (which is so telegraphed, do we even need spoilers for that?) so that we can have the "mystery" of who offed Xander. Except we know it won't be Thomas because of plot armor. Not that he isn't above that, as he's tried to murder Rick over the one girl he can't fuck aka Steffy, but we know this is gonna be Zoe's exit story.
