Daphne who came to pimp herself out has audacity to attack Hope. 

Hope didn't draw up the LLC, Hope didn't know what it was, Hope didn't sign or force Carter to sign in. Hope did not force ridge and Steffy to not read it, Hope didn't file the papers or knew in advance they were filed. 

Carter is all forgiven and led astray.  Yet he can't handle Deacon calling him out. 

But yes Daphne and Ridge all this is Hope. I need her to be done with all these people including Brooke.

And Ridge is such a raging asshole. "You sound like Brooke."  Really?  That's how you talk about your "Logan"?  And his repeated insistence that "Hope doesn't think she did anything wrong," when he hasn't even spoken to her?  

I think I'm shipping Pepe and the Hobo. It would just be so delicious when you think of everyone else's reactions. Bonus points if they sneak around behind Carter and Taylor's backs and get busted in front of Carter, Taylor, Brooke, and Steffy.  All four of them would deserve every second of that pain. 

Deacon was great. I cracked up at the "ouch."  And, as much as I normally hate when the word whore gets tossed around (unless people want to finally start calling Ridge a whore), I would not have been too put out if he'd said "oh, so this must be your whore," when he figured out who Pepe was. 

So, I can get not thinking to call anyone the second Liam got to the ER and all, but the man had brain surgery, which, last I checked, is not a short procedure.  She had all that time to sit and wait for that to be done, and she couldn't be bothered to call Bill, Wyatt, Finn, or Hope?  Yeah, I know she hates Hope, but Liam is the father of Hope's daughter, too, and the show has always portrayed the two of them as willing to set their shit aside when it comes to the kids.  And she knows that Finn was scheduled to work, and she and Liam were supposed to be taking care of Kelly, and she couldn't take two seconds to let him know what was going on? Even when he had apparently been calling and texting her to find out where she was? So even if it wasn't at the front of her mind, his attempts to reach out should have reminded her. She didn't even call her mommy dearest to come support her and tell her how awesome she is?  I know Grace is taking up some of that slack, but she can't just spend the rest of her shift kissing Steffy's ass.  And none of the hospital staff who have seen Steffy there have recognized her enough to mention to Finn (or Li) that they saw her there? And we all know Steffy would flip her shit if one of her loved ones was in the hospital and nobody called her to let her know. 

I had been thinking Liam would wake up thinking he was still with Steffy, but I think it would be hilarious if it comes out that he thinks he's still married to Hope.  Could you imagine how much Steffy's face will crack if, tomorrow, he says "did you call Hope?  She must be so worried wondering where I am, and why I haven't made it home yet"?  I couldn't really tell today, though, what they were going for with Liam.  Like, he knows who he is, and he asked about Kelly, but he also asked "where's here?" when he's very obviously in a hospital bed, and he asked what a brain bleed is, which I'd think most people have heard of. 

Can we at least hope that this storyline somehow leads to Finn finding out about those kisses his wife never told him about?  Because I would love to see him finally have his illusions about his wife visibly shatter, and him finally get really angry at her.

It was mind boggling that one minute Liam needed brain surgery and then the next minute it was completed and Shtuffy never moved an inch. She just stood there in the same spot. And yet the the scenes kept cutting to both Dr.s Finnegan who are probably right down the hall. And only Shtuffy knows. Makes me wonder if it was really Liam that needed the brain surgery. Or was it me, because this isn't making sense to me. All I can figure is that they are rushing this story line because of JMW's impending maternity leave. And not even pre-shooting her scenes to cut in later when the rest of the actors have shot theirs. Don't forget, we always have Caitlin (Fibberty's real life wife) for Shtuffy's back-of-the-head shots.

Oh, and I have to say how disappointed I was that during the great Shtuffy and Waffles flashbackarama we did not get the scene of them running into each other on the beach like a couple of line-backers.

Are they still in the ER? I've a lot of time there over the years and usually stayed put in the room even when my husband was taken out for scans and such. (Though never for a bit of brain surgery lol.)

My main thought watching that was doesn't Li work the ER? Or am I misremembering? 

I still can't watch any scene at FC, Ridge especially. Daphne is gaining on him though. And what's with the actress standing in such weird positions?

Daphne is one of the most irritating characters I've seen on a soap in a long time.  ICE needs to show up at FC and deport her, nose and all. Does she even have papers?  For a show that disappears characters with such ease and no explanation, why is her useless ass still here?  Where are Rick and RJ?  I'd much rather hear them chime in on Hope's role in the takeover than stupid Shnozzette or Zende.

CBS has the habit of interrupting regular programming with a special report that it’s not of the upmost importance.  They could have waited to the top of the hour.

I really hope that FeeFee Le Pew gives the "good man" chlamydia. And enough with the "Steffy saved your life" stuff. She called 911, she didn't perform the dang surgery. What needs to happen to liven this show up, is Ridge banging FeeFee Le Pew,  Taylor walking in on them, and then dropping dead of broken heart syndrome. Steffy would eventually find out, kill FeeFee in a fit of blind rage(we know she's got it in her with that bloodline), and then have a nervous breakdown and having to be committed. Ridge will take the blame and go to jail to protect his spawn, and Carter can realize he's been played for a complete fool, and leave town in shame. There, that gets rid of all the worst characters all at once, where's my check CBS?

Pepe LePew is truly everything she accuses Hope of being.  She manipulated Carter over the business. She is flouncing around FC like she owns the joint, and throwing her two cents into things that have nothing to do with her role there. There's not even any reason for her to be there every day. She's an independent contractor, basically, who's been contracted with to create a fragrance. Unless FC has a perfume lab hidden up Carter's ass, why is she not out there somewhere else doing the thing they've paid her to do?  

And Carter, he's even more of a desperate horndog than Will was when he first started at FC. Forget all about the woman he was pledging his undying love to every day for months, there's another woman in his personal space right now. 

I was hoping that Bill knew about the Liam/Steffy kisses and would drop that little bomb on Finn during their conversation. Maybe a confused Liam will inadvertently let that slip. 

And enough telling us how Steffy is the biggest heroine in the history of time because she cleared the lowest possible "in case of emergency" bar and dialed 911 when she found Liam knocked out in a pool of blood. If Bill had come back for his keys, or Will had stopped by, or Katie had decided to drop in, they would have done exactly the same thing.

Same, coming from a former hater(but reinvigorated for the right reasons this time)myself, no one ever brought this up. It's one of the reasons Brooke pissed me off when Deacon first came back to town, and she, not unlike this time, decided to jump on the popular Ridge & Steffy sancioned opinion like a coward and try to ban/discourage Hope from getting to know Deacon. Knowing she had no alternative father figure at that point, and hadn't for a good while. So counting when she got with Bill, this is actually the third or (fourth?)time Brooke has chosen a man in her life over Hope? I mean, it's truly a testment to how unbearably aggravating every other character was during that time onward, that Brooke's OG stance on Deacon kinda fell to the wayside. But needless to say, I'm over her. Not in the same way I'm over Steffy, her shitty french friend, or her shitty parents. But I'm definitely over Brooke.

I’m actually glad Carter called Deacon out on his ridiculous vendetta against him really being about Deacon’s own failings as a father.  What grown man is going to fight another man because his thirty-five year-old daughter got her feelings hurt?  That’s an outsize reaction that is about more than it appears.  And, yes, when Hope was a baby, Brooke was the one who woke up one day and decided Deacon had to leave town.  But that was a singular act. Deacon staying away for much of the three decades since is all on him. 
 

And I feel we should all be grateful the soap trope of keeping a secret from your spouse seems not to be present here.  Wasn’t when Poppy begged Finn not to tell Steffy (or Li) he was Luna’s real father and it didn’t happen when Liam asked Steffy to tell no one about his condition (brain surgery?!).  Thank heaven for small favors.

So, Steffy heads home, knowing Kelly is expecting Liam and is going to need some explanation for his current (and continued) absence.  And she doesn't come up with a story, just looks all panicked and stricken that Kelly asks the obvious questions?  Come on, you've been a schemer your entire adult life, and you couldn't come up with an easy "daddy had to go on a work trip at the last minute, we're not entirely sure when he's going to be back, but he loves you and told me to give you the biggest hug from him" kind of story?  I mean, Liam is awake and seems pretty with it, so he should be able to fake a phone call or two "from New York" or wherever to keep up the pretense.

Oh, Pepe, Carter is always ready.  It's good for you that you're getting your claim in now, because if he wasn't clear that you were throwing your hat in the ring, he might get distracted by some other woman when he goes out to pick up his lunch. As it is since you two haven't banged, he may still forget all about you if a willing woman presents herself before the next time he sees you.

Isn't it unethical for a psychiatrist to offer professional opinions about someone who is not their patient?  Because Beige pretty much jumped right over that line today, telling Brooke about her other patients like her, and trying to offer her "helpful" advice. 

Also, Beige, when a man jumps into your bed immediately after finding out his partner has done something that pisses him off, that is the definition of a "rebound."  I cracked up at her "we live at Eric's, we're building a life together."  And, yes, you seem super duper confident and not threatened. That's why you had to lash out and why you then had to go whine to Pepe LePew about it all. 

Speaking of Pepe, she's just as pathetic. No wonder Steffy likes her so much, she reminds her of her mommy. And it's his heart that she likes Carter for?  Yeah, that's the part she seemed to be staring at there today.  Not to mention, she's known him for weeks. She doesn't know his heart. Knowing Bell, he'll probably have Carter save Hope from FeeFee so he and Hope will reunite, and they'll ignore his *massive* betrayal of her. Taylor has some nerve(not unusual for her) to tell Brooke that *she's* obsessed. Tay, you literally thought you were dying of a broken heart, because Ridge dumped you 20 years ago. It's pretty much a given that Will's horny behind will jump in bed with LunaTic. Maybe he and Carter can compare notes on their stalkers?

What I'm finding very off-putting about Will & Electra's relationship is that the show seems to be playing it as though Electra's actions of kissing and then stopping are what's going to push Will to cheat on her with Luna, dismissing him of all accountability. At least that's how it's looking to me right now.

Will's sole reason for wanting this internship was all the pretty girls, so what can we expect, right? He has an undiscovered talent for fashion design? He doesn't care about the job so he has nothing to lose if he gets caught making out in the office instead of working. Not that there would be any repercussions for Katie's son, but Electra was already temporarily fired for the deep fakes. She has a lot to lose if they get caught making out in the office, besides her not being ready to take their relationship to the next level.

And I have to say that I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see Lunatictac deliver that pepperoni pineapple pizza to Zende. For one, he would have recognized the woman with whom he has had intimate relations, but I think we are supposed to forget about that debacle that was reversed once RJ disappeared into thin air and they rewrote her character. And secondly, I was bracing myself to see what shirt Zende would be wearing.

For a second there, I got the ick with Carter and Brooke.  I said, “They’re not going there, are they?” Crisis averted… for now. Then these two idiots had the nerve to wonder aloud if they should’ve walked out with Hope. And yes Brooke, you are absolutely pathetic pining over a man who called your daughter a slut and a bitch for months.

You can totally see how Carter and Ridge ended up as best friends. Carter professing his love for Hope while very much enjoying Pepe LePew rubbing up on him is classic Ridge. Selective hearing (nothing Hope said to him during their breakup seems to have sunk in) of a woman’s words is also classic Ridge.

I have to admit I’m troubled by this Will and Elecktra storyline. But it’s difficult to get the gist while fast-forwarding through all of their scenes.

I’m still convinced that Liam’s brain has shut down because he nearly bored himself to death. I also feel on the precipice of death due to boredom whenever he talks. Are any of these airheads going to say, “Maybe we should make the mother of Liam’s other child aware of his medical problems?” But who has time for that when they clearly spent so much of it discussing what they would tell Kelly about her father? Oops.

The new storyline for Liam is that he has an inoperable brain tumor, which is what caused him to pass out and bump his head as he fell, which I predict will cause il Principessa Stefania to take over, divorce Finn, take a sabbatical from FC and remarry Liam so his final days will be filled with the joy of her presence - and of course, only Eric, Ridge and Taylor will be allowed at his bedside, so Stinky Farts will have restraining orders against all the Logans in place so that none of them can get close to Liam - I also predict that Liam will undergo a miraculous spontaneous remission of the brain tumor which will leave Stinky Farts stuck with him.
