Hehe my husband loves pretty clothes but hates shopping so I dress him like I dress my 5yo. Kids outfits are so creative and cute!

I still don't understand why they're ignoring the cliffhanger in all promo. It's so bizarre. They have something there that could get people to tune in, even just to find out who survived, but they just pretend it never happened??? ? ? ?

Yeah if you don't want to spoil who's alive, at least show the blowing up of the island more along with pictures of the people who might be "dead" . I don't think many people are tuning in to watch William and Oliver or BS vs BC.

Exactly. IDGI. They could just have clips of everyone on the island just before it blows up and then end it with the explosion. If you're going to end a season on a dumb cliffhanger, at least remind the general audience that it happened.

At one of her cons or interviews from memory she got very very close to this or at least that E2 Oliver and Laurel were soulmates that turned her evil yada yada but she didn't dive fully in. But it's early days, I'm sure it'll come eventually- probably when Oliver and Felicity are married and Oliver and Dinah have kicked Black Siren ass on the semi regular.

In what little promo we've seen so far they seem to actively want people to think everyone but Oliver, William and the two Dinahs died in the explosion. Which makes absolutely no sense.

I thought the cliffhanger was stupid when it happened because I highly doubt they are going to kill anyone important but it's amazing they have made it even more pointless by not even trying to ramp up the suspense.

Go look at the S7 Walking Dead promo trailer and compare it to this.

It's not just you - that is what they're doing. They've decided to completely ignore the fact that they had a huge cliffhanger, and to make the audience believe that everyone died instead of using it to their advantage to build anticipation to get people to tune in to see who made it. So we get "everything has changed" promos with shots of Oliver, Williams and BS/BC - no hint of anyone else making it out alive. Of all the dumbass promo things Arrow has done, I understand this the least, haha.

Oh definitely. Olicity will be reconnecting and together, trying to form a proto family with William and KC will be giving interviews with her headcanon that Oliver can redeem E2LL (not her "father", "mother" or "sister" of course) and they should get together.

after the crossover Olicity wedding I expect the howls for Redeemed!BS and Oliver to get together to become even louder.

Not just you and that was the entire reason they lit it up with all the cast on there.

The BC vs BS "rematch" video was especially eye rolling for me. And YES if you're going to do a big dumb cliffhanger pretending beloved characters like OTA, Thea etc might be dead then at least remind people that they like these characters and to tune in to find out their fate. As I said, I don't think many parts of the fandom are very enthusiastic about Oliver trying to be a Dad to William or 3rd BC vs a returned KC's BS.

The blown up Island has become a damp squib.

Really, no hint of anyone else existing. If you never watched the show and only saw most of the promos (but not the SDCC trailer) - both for S6 and now these BTS videos for S5 - you wouldn't even know there are other characters.

I think there may be a substantial part of the fandom who want to see what happens with BS  and/or BS vs BC.

But I find it hard to believe that anyone really wants to see Oliver be a dad.  Except maybe SA.  Until he sees the audience reactions.

Oh there probably are people who are interested in BC vs BS but I was thinking a lot of those would be KC fans who don't necessarily want to see DD replacing her and (usually) beating her, but maybe there is general interest as well.

Oliver as a Dad *could* be interesting I guess, but nothing about the promos so far has showcased it and he's been nothing but a mostly mute plot device in all his appearances so far. And they aren't going to want the kid on the show full time I don't think so once they're bored of the story he'll be in offscreenville most of the time. I can understand SA wanting to use his experiences as a Dad on screen but it doesn't really work well for Oliver's life or for the story, *especially* not in the way they did it and since Olicity are reconnecting they'll probably get the blame for the William storyline again.

S. Gomez: You've been reading those biased Olicity fan sites. The supernatural storyline didn't affect the ratings at all. And fans loved Oliver being a father - which is why we're going to double down on promoting the Oliver-William scenes for the Season 6 premiere. People love that stuff. Just look at This Is Us.

Another Unidentified Intern: What about promoting the cliffhanger? Like, amping up the suspense over who lives and who dies? We've been getting a lot of questions about whether David and Emily are returning.

Not that this matters in the long run since I'm over the moon that HVFF Atlanta gets OTA too but HVFF? COH2 was the last OTA con. COH2 didn't have an OTA photo op but they had crashed panels, autograph sessions; lounges too.

I wish HVFF did lounges.

No, many more actors did including: Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Robbie Amell, John Barrowman, Brandon Routh, Jason Momoa, Amy Gumenick, Katie Cassidy, Keiynan Lonsdale, Ciara Renee, Sean Pertwee, and a couple others I don't remember. Pretty much all actors present had lounges.

COH2 also had two solo panels for each of SA, EBR and DR (one/day) but the lounges were easily the best part of the con.

You weren't allowed to have your phone out during them; those inside were warned it would get them thrown out of the room. I think most tried to report on them from memory after the lounge took place.

COH2 was unlike any con I'd been to before and yet I actually think they did it properly for the most part.  I liked how they basically set it up so you could just sit in your ballroom/homeroom while the talent came to you. I especially liked how you didn't have to fight for seats or panels, the each actor did a panel in each room, flipping days.

This means that Manu Bennett will likely be at NY Comic Con (he retweeted this) - he likely won't talk about Arrow during the Shannara panel, but he might in a media interview (he can't seem to shut up about Arrow nowadays)...
