If the app doesn't work for you, why not watch on the cw site itself? As far as I can tell, all the most recent episodes are available for streaming there.

Tbh, I totally forgot about the website, hahahahaha, but I like to stream everything to my TV. I just recently figured out it's a bug with the captions that's the issue, so if I leave them off the app works fine but it's still annoying that they don't work. The sound mixing on CW shows is not the best so I like to watch with captions especially when Oliver "Felicity whispers".

Yeah, the app is ....better, but it's still not great. For some reason, it tends to hang every time it tries to come back from a commercial break.  I have to kill the app and restart it.  On the bright side, the app now allows you to resume the episode where you left off, so.....progress?

At this point, though, we're so close to the end of the season that, with Legends done, there's nothing I can't wait to see before it hits Netflix, where I don't have to deal with the commercials at all, and can even download the episodes to watch on the go if I want.  I kinda love this eight-days-after-season-finale deal.

We generally only storyboard the action sequences and the flashback transitions, so I don’t have a storyboard for that scene.

Wow.  I really didn't expect a reply to the post about his Twitter War.  I didn't even ask a question, just needed to respond after him bringing it up again. (Aka lecture,lol) I hope this means he sees the error of his ways but it's just as likely he's only seen the error of bad publicity or moved on to new beefs, lol.

Sadly, I doubt MG thinks he said anything wrong. He's the guy in Hollywood who sees the movie Get Out, smugly nods along and recommends it to his friends, but never gets that it's about people like him. Or misreads the intention of a tweet, inserts himself uninvited, gets all self-righteous, and won't back down even after many point out his mistake.

I just came home from work and checked twitter. Olicity is Rising is trending at 6:30 est. This will be the first episode I watch live since the season premiere. Please don't let me down! I read that the flashback was pure fan servicing (which when it moves the plot and advances character, it's not, but I'll take more if it's on the table).   

Of course the same poster also thought that Felicity mentioned in the flashback they never talked about having kids and William just forced the issue, hence why she freaked and walked away.

I remember reading a blog where the poster (I think it was Jbuffy) made an excellent point about knowing/realising the moment your ship is ending or the moment when a ship you don't like is going to happen. 

These people need to learn that!

Personally 520 was fabulous and an Olicity dream come true but 519 was the episode pushed Felicity into untouchable "the only equal and incomparable life partner to Oliver Queen" territory for me. That speech!!!!!!

Yep, serious.  Which is why I am trying to be less surprised by how radically different someone's take on the same episode can be.  Some people really are watching a different show.  ;)

I always assume that they want to watch a different show. For example: They hate Felicity, go in watching the episode with that notion, therefore if she is on screen alot or takes a breath too loudly = bad episode. The rest can be good but your personal mindset is responsible for how you perceive the story. It happens to me too with the William storyline but I am not going to scream 'Die. Let him die' at anyone who will hear me.

HAHA!  Maybe I'm wrong but weren't S3 ratings were better than S2 (due to new Flash viewers remaining after the crossover)?  S4 ratings were definitely higher than this season's.  If all those viewers who left in S5 are like me--it had nothing to do with Olicity.  It did have A LOT to do with the crappy repetitive writing, worrying too much about stunt work rather than characterization, and too much focus on characters I didn't care about.

My Jean Grey hate is almost as strong as my Felicity Smoak love.  I have PTSD from that character, I swear.  I clutched my chair in fear during Logan that they would work Jean Grey in somehow.

Storm was always my favorite X-Man but the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix arc was one of the few comics books I actually owned. 

I didn't realize she had become so controversial. I am so glad they never put Storm in those movies...??

Comics, I didn't hate movie Jean but, I hated how they butchered the Dark Phoenix storyline. It's actually a fabulous story.

I own the Dark Phoenix Saga and From The Ashes. The problem I have with Jean now is that she's been turned into a Mary Sue, everyone is in love with her (Bobby, Scott, Warren, the Professor - pretty sure that was the hint in Onslaught - Logan, and most recently Hank), on top of that she's the most super powered and specialist Phoenix host, she's the true host! 

I liked Jean in the 90s and, the Phoenix Saga but, lately they've gone overbroad with making such a super special snowflake.

IMO, Kitty started as a major brat in the 80s and, has also grown into a Mary Sue. It also didn't help that I LOVE Jubilee and, she tends to get the short end of the stick when it comes to Logan.

I've hated Jean since the 90s animated series and that hate continued to the movies. To me, she's just a cipher. No personality, nothing to grab onto; just a collection of abilities, including the one to make everyone treat her as the most special of the special. (I've only ever read the Whedon Astonishing X-Men series, so I don't have other experience with her from comics.)

Some people really seem to be super salty about this! It's kind of hilarious. I've seen that Shado/Slade/Oliver were OTA except that there was no "Arrow" to be the team for. Then it was Laurel/Oliver/Thea/Tommy which makes no sense again because they didn't know he was the Hood. Some people will really twist themselves in knots to deny Felicity any impact on Oliver's life.

Bitterness? LOL. There are people so mad about the show they don't accept what they see and make stuff up. There are people now saying Felicity cheated on every boyfriend she has had when it never happened. I mean I didn't like Laurel as BC but I don't go around saying she was dressed like that not because she was BC but because she liked to cosplay and stalk the team. I accept the show canon LOL.
