I like the Special K commercial with the tiny Asian woman living her life, being strong and self-sufficient because she eats her healthy cereal. It's odd because it's a grey-toned ad that at first I thought was going to be a PSA for some religion or a Life Alert kind of service, but instead, it's, "Eat this and you will be able to live life." I'm impressed.

Not really, though.  I remember the puppy monkey baby, but I have absolutely no idea what the ad was for.

Exactly.  I remember the horrifying creature but couldn't tell you what that commercial was supposed to be selling if my life depended on it.  The Seal as a seal commercial, however, I'll never forget that it's a Mountain Dew ad.

There was a report on the network national news tonight about kayaker who was “swallowed” (then immediately spit out) by a humpback whale. (Somehow it got caught on video.)  Followed directly by a Pacific Life commercial featuring mother and child humpback whales. Best product placement ever!

That's interesting because just a few days ago I watched an episode of "History's Most Shocking" on the History Channel and it featured a video of 2 women whale spotters that were swallowed by a whale accidentally and were spit out. It happened on a whale spotting expedition where people went out in small boats to get up close to the whales, I forget where. Interesting coincidence!

I guess we don't taste good to whales if they keep spitting us out, must not like pork either then.

It's actually that hump back whales' mouths and throats are not designed to be able to swallow or break down humans or any large creature so that's why they spit us out. They feed on small fish that swim in huge schools. It's only when humans get close to them when they're feeding on those fish that they accidently get scooped up along with them. I learned that from watching that show.

And that's the problem with the internet & texting. I guess I should have put a laughing emoji at the end because in my mind it was funny & meant as a joke as there's not many pigs in the ocean.

But thank you for the whale lesson.

LOL, you're welcome. But knowing me, I probably would have given it to you anyway. 😉
