Marsupial ass toes wins the Internet for the day. As they were hurling insults at each other, I was waiting for something like that to come out of NeNe's mouth. She's not that quick. Even her conversation with Gregg on the way home, she was having a hard time explaining where the conversation went because it left her behind at the train station.

I think NeNe's quick but she's not very clever.  Sometimes she comes up with a perfect stinger, but she's very hit or miss.  What seems to work for her is that she's usually the tallest and largest woman in the room and she has a loud, booming voice, so folks are intimidated.  People who make it clear that they aren't intimidated or that they're wittier sort her ass right on out.  She doesn't come for Kandi much because Kandi, through gritted teeth (everything she says is through gritted teeth but when she gets mad, them thangs are CLENCHED) told her that she wanted to lay her ass out.  I think NeNe took a look at Kandi and knew that scrappy little thing would try her best to do it.

 

(I can speak on behalf of scrappy little things as I am one myself.  As my father says, "You might not win the battle but you'll make damn sure they know you were here."  Folks usually look at how unafraid I am and think better of it.)

Perhaps NeNe's remarks should've been along the lines of "Girl, yes, I was a stripper and great at it.  You'd probably be good, too, with them marsupial ass toes.  You'd get a really good grip!"

I know it is an unpopular opinion but I love Nene.  I have loved her since the first episode.  I do think a lot of her over the top ego show comes from insecurity.  I think that's why when someone stands up to her she tends to get flustered.  College or no she has done damn well for herself and I won't try to take her accolades.  ;) 

Kenya I can not stand, but maybe she didn't get to be a true teenager because she was pageanting?  And that's why she acts like a 14 year old now? 

Claudia is just a bitch.  I will never like her because of what she said about Tiny.  Bitch needs an ass kicking. 

 

And this may have been in the previous episode, I'm not sure.  But, Aiden saying he was coming against pinching made my ovaries quiver.

I felt the exchange of insults was more like an adult fighting with a defiant teenager. Nene couldn't win an argument with someone who always have to have the last word. That how Clawdia came off to me. Moreso on the bus when Nene did finally shut her down by apologizing and Clawdia then goes after Porsha.

To me, both Claudia and Kenya act maturally stilted. I also feel Cynthia is beginning to realize this and is regretting her choice in friends, especially when Petra was ogling Claudia at the table and how brazen they were to set up one of them with another castmate's ex husband.

I know on girl trips we have gotten a bit silly and that was OK because we were IN OUR TWENTIES at the time. It was funny and silly for us to moon people when we were college frat girls or just young folks out to have a good time.

However, at 44, we want the world to take us seriously or/and are looking for a lasting relationship possibly resulting in marriage. For women who want a professional lifestyle, you don't put your bare butt out a car window or engage in high school highjinks like cutting someone else's phone off while they're talking. This is the problem I have with KENYA and why I feel she has issues that need to be addressed.

As for "let's act like adults", Claudia, if she really wanted the table argument to be addressed maturely, she could've just told Nene to just end it, it's not that serious. Instead she went back to high school and did the "you old you ugly and I know stuff" route. That's not mature and pretty much negates her statement that everyone should act like adults.

The only argument that began and ended between adults was between Phaedra and Demetria. Dee earned my respect that day when she was the bigger person and apologized for the very hurtful dig to Phaedra.

So very bored at everything Kandi and Todd was doing that I fell asleep on their segment

The all time stupidest thing I ever witnessed was Cynthia tearing up and burning the friendship contract like it was some legal and binding document. It is like she has absolutely no concept of what friendship really is. The moment she had an issue with Nene, she began the trash Nene train and it had been blowing smoke long after. This and seeing the Cynthia holds no loyalty to anyone but Petra at this time, Nene is correct in cutting her loose and seeing her as a "fair weather friend" at best

I also believe Nene is building a friendship with Phaedra and Porsha because she already knows what it feels like to be forced to divorce the love of your life when there is no other recourse. She also recognizes an abusive relationship as she has also gone through the hell of that also. That's why she befriended Porsha for mental, controlling abuse she got from Kordell. And Phaedra because if anyone can detect budding or ongoing physical abuse is someone who lived it and survived. That is the bond that brought these three together

It was also very evident that Cynthia is very jealous of their friendship and just cannot understand why Nene is now friends with her frenemy, Phaedra

Pretty much would agree to all of this if it was only happening on the show or only on Bravo blogs. However it isn't. The madness goes on via Twitter, Instagram, talk shows, and it is getting very unfunny and personal.

I don't mind a bit of bitchiness and snark among adults but this is why I never liked high school. I want to see true adult drama and professional women acting their age. I know no one in their 40s acting like this unless they had 7 too many drinks at the club.

On point one, RHOA showed you can bring fight and ratchetness without it getting serious, juvenile, and dangerous. Most of their fight were funny and there was still a sliver of respect among the castmates even when they were fighting. Then came KENYA and it went from funny to just plain sad and no one is having any fun without it being fake and forced.

I agree Bravo is manipulating and hiring people to bring it. However, the ratings are showing that like "Favor of Love" and other ratchet shows, that gets old very fast

I for one, want real interactions and not this "outdo the other girl" crap.

Riley does not want any new siblings.  Not Todd's daughter and not a new baby.  She has made it clear.  I have a 19 year old and 12 year old daughter and despite the age difference, they hang out a lot.  They play Wii, bake cookies, go to the pool, etc.  Riley is making excuses because for whatever reason, she isn't into it.  And wow, does she look grown up! I couldn't believe it when they said she was 11!!! My 12 year old does not look that grown!  I thought they were the same age!

and also note--- I thought it was all kinds of ick that Kandi had the girls help her make an ovulation calendar.  Just no.

At this time in the episode when this fight occurred Nene might not have known anything about Claudia's toes.  Claudia revealed her toes to Kenya and a foot doctor, not the group.  When Claudia, Cynthia and Kenya were swimming, Nene and her group were on the beach.  Sometimes we forget that the ladies aren't watching the scenes as they are happening.

 

(Oops!  Aging Goth beat me to it.  hehe)

I think Riley is selfish but in a way I see her point.  I have had friends whose fathers remarried and have had other children and it's hard for them because suddenly they have a brother or a sister and they don't know how to react.  Riley was an only child for years, now suddenly she has a step sister and if Kandi has a baby, there's another sibling for her to deal with.  

 

I often wonder how Kim's daughters feel.  For years it was them and Kim, three females and suddenly there's a step dad and before they can get used to him, here come a whole bunch of babies to deal with.  Talk about a life change.

I would like to add if there is even 1% of how this is how they really act, then I would never use the word adult, educated or women regarding any of them. Nene at best is a buffoon who people are laughing at, not with.  Threats, violence, bullying, intimidation and lots of criminal records.  Nothing to be proud of.

Speaking of Phaedra's kids, someone mentioned that Dylan looks like Phaedra.  Honestly, I think he's a study of Phaedra's mother in miniature.  He just looks so much like her.
