Does anyone know if there were any set reports of the first time they shot that scene? I think I remember a scene where everyone was looking up at the sky on Main Street, but I can't find the link. I also don't remember reports of Emma and Regina having to use magic for the first shoot. I wonder what made them switch the scene to the woods and what made them add in the awkward magic stuff with Hyde. The Hyde stuff seemed tacked on and the Regina line about not using magic seemed awkward. Maybe those two elements were missing the first time and they were forced to add them in later to make the story less confusing?

There was a scene with everyone outside of Granny's looking up at the sky, but there's no magic involved.

Given all the people that follow the main cast to the woods, I'm assuming they all leave Granny's, walk to the woods, Hyde is there, magic gets used, doesn't work. The blimp crashes, everyone goes to the crash site, Emma has her scene with what's his face and his dog, there's that scene in Rumple's shop where they find the stunt gun thingy that Emma uses on Hyde later. I think Jekyll is used as bait to lure Hyde out but things don't go as expected because he gets a hold of Regina, Emma saves the day with the stunt gun, has her handshake problems, Hyde is locked up, Emma goes to see him, he probably tells her about the Saviors and how they don't get happy endings, scene outside of Granny's where Emma comes out of there with a shaking hand, keeps secrets from her boyfriend and family blah blah blah...nightmare of her being stabbed by some hooded figure.

Somewhere in here we get the RB scenes where Belle wakes up from her snore. Maybe Morpheus is emotionally invested and attached to Belle because outside of babies, she's the one that sleeps the most, and since he is kind of a creeper because he's in her dreams, he probably knows a hell of a lot about the things she wants.

I'm still not convinced that Emma being stabbed is her nightmare. Plus Aladdin's nurse is also Oracle and that seems kind of important.

After reading A&E's comment about Emma going back to S1 walls-up Emma, I really felt bad for Jennifer Morrison. More than any other season, I feel like she really put her heart and soul into her S5 performance. She was doing all kinds of research for the Dark Swan stuff, and seemed really happy that Emma was finally letting all her walls down, etc.. It must be disheartening when the writers keep pressing the reset button on her character every season.

This may be a "mark this day on your calendar" occasion, but I'm going to defend the writers here (nobody faint). I don't think they expressed themselves about Emma well (kind of sad for writers) because I don't think the term "walls" applies to what they described, but what they described does make a kind of sense in terms of relationship progression.

To me, the "walls" were about Emma protecting herself -- not letting herself love for fear of being hurt, not letting herself express that love for fear of being vulnerable -- but what they said in that interview sounds to me like her attempting to protect Hook, to some extent, while also her still being independent and not used to being part of a couple. Saying she loves Hook doesn't mean she's over all her issues. She's someone who's used to looking after herself and not used to having anyone who could help, so it's going to be an adjustment to her to get used to working through things with another person. If what they're talking about is her finding out there's a problem with being a Savior, it might be the equivalent of someone finding a lump and waiting to tell her significant other anything until after the mammogram, biopsy, and conversation with her doctor. That would be a problem in a marriage, but for a couple who hasn't been together a whole year it's not totally crazy. It's not unreasonable for her to act that way because she's not used to having to incorporate someone else into her personal problems when he can't do anything about it, but it's also not unreasonable for him to feel hurt and a little angry that she didn't say anything to him. Then there's the fact that he's just been through so much that she might not want to burden him until she's more sure of what's going on. Part of being in a couple is learning what and when to share and how to deal with things together, and that seems like a reasonable next step for them rather than a step backward. But I guess it all depends on how it's handled.

http://www.australianetworknews.com/once-upon-a-time-season-6-emma-vs-aladdin-fight-happening/

Another article that takes a couple spoilers and has no idea how to speculate on them. The A&E quote says, point-blank, that Emma's Jafar is the Evil Queen. Then the article is speculating that Emma's "final villain" is actually Aladdin. What the heck? What's funny is that yet another article cites that one with the headline "Once Upon A Time Season 6: Emma & Aladdin Fight Each Other?"

What? Are they seriously going to make Aladdin the real bad guy? Or are they mistaken that storyline for the Hyde and Jekyl stuff?

Speaking of of notice no one is really talking about the Jekyll and Hyde storyline they introduced last season? We'll have 3 villains running a muck.

In the Eduardo Castro interview I posted, he says the Evil Queen is in every scene in every episode, and she gets a new costume every time. I have to think he means Regina + EQ, because having the EQ version of Regina in all scenes is a bit much for even A&E. lol

So, the rumbelle fandom believe that Morpheus is their child.

Well,I am sorry but I do not want it at all.

I mean how can have a god as son for me it will be too much. And, honestly not all child of our heroes should have special power that makes them even more special than our already so so special swoflake heroes.

Anyway, good Once premiere to all!

I mean, I doubt she's actually in every scene in every episode, since we already have a few scenes from the first episode she's not in.

Ausiello tweeted that tonight this blind item will happen: http://tvline.com/2016/08/17/blind-item-fall-casting-stunt-broadcast-show/ so it could be Once. The only thing that could fit is maybe Jamie D. having filmed a secret scene somewhere? Or Elsa, I guess.

Georgina Haig was in Vancouver, but I don't see how Elsa or Graham would fit into these scenes, unless we get more of Regina raping Graham and I doubt the show wants to go there again.

I'm pretty sure she's not standing there while CS are making out, or while Rumple is wherever he is to wake Belle.

The blind item implies new casting. So, that automatically rules out any character we've seen on the show before like Elsa, Graham, etc.. Maybe Shatner really does show up as the Genie or something. lol

Hollywood Reporter interview

Quote

Is this a secret that slowly spreads from one person to another in Storybrooke?

Horowitz: The secret is going to get out. The question really is does it get out because she tells and decides to do the right thing, or does it get out because she's forced to? That is something that is going to happen within the first batch of episodes. This is not something that we're going to drag out for a long time.

Well that's something.

we're actually showing a real relationship

Somehow, I don't think a real relationship would be this regressive after all the shit it went through last year.

YOU might be able to just sweep their whole S5 arc under the rug and move on, but realistically THEY should not.

Horowitz: There is a definite plan for when that child is born … it's going to happen this season and it gets intense.

Oh, freaking boy. How will gestation be sped up this time?

Given how messy it was, it seems like they've already been doing this for a while.

ok...the Oracle was there when Jafar was tormenting Alladdin...i have no trouble believing Jafar could be masquerading as the Oracle or forcing the Oracle to tell Emma about her grisly future (that was so Iago!).

The thing about Untold Stories being dangerous, I  can certainly believe. If a villain can see they will fail and die horribly, they would have a vested interest on pausing their story and ensuring that no Savior comes along to get it moving again.

I had a "oh please no" thought that because Emma apparently dies the exact way Killian did, that it's Hook under that robe. Think of all the wonderful parallels. Desperately hoping I'm way off base here.

But when we see the rest of the Storybrookers in the street, he's there with them, even comforting Henry. Regina is not. So my bet is on either Emma battling herself or the Evil Queen.

Oh yeah, you're right! Oh thank God. Actually, that shot of him seemed kind of weird and led credence to the, "This is just a manipulation and not actually the future" spec, since Hook's reaction seemed weird and disengaged. He looked like, "Eh, she knew what she was getting herself into."

Well, one version of Hook is. He could be split too.

(ugh, I don't like speculating when every character could be split)

Whoa. Yea, splitting everyone would get annoying. But I do miss the long leather coat....

She also didn't seem to be an oracle there, just a nurse (the actress was even cast as "nurse").  Something fishy is definitely going on.

My my my how the turns have tabled. Belle going to the man she said many yrs ago had a rotten heart for help away from her husband whom she loves and is afraid of?

I love it! Plus I kinda like how easy going Hook and Belle have become.

Never thought I'd say this, but Captain Book is probably the one plot I'm looking forward to seeing most this season. Let's see if they ever get anything beyond a C-Plot.

Joy.  Just like last season, the second episode features a victim of Regina's who wants vengeance and is portrayed as the bad guy because of it.

Taking bets now: who else thinks the heroes will kill him without any hesitation or remorse as well?

It says he has a history with the Evil Queen and wants revenge, and there is a "Baron Danglers" in the cast whom I suspect is a composite of all three of Dantes' betrayers (one of whom was named Danglers), and the Evil Queen somehow had a hand in helping him screw Dantes over.  So Dantes will either get killed off for daring to kill Regina, or the Evil Queen will show up and make him realize that SHE'S the one he needs to take revenge on, not Regina, because they're two different people, don't you know!

There was a dialogue spoiler from the set where they were filming the Count swordfighting with Charming -- Charming asks him why he's doing this, and the Count says, "She has my heart!" Sounds like the EQ may be controlling him.

Not this mess again: another 'death', another warning that leads nowhere, more messy subplots and characters, etc/

Wasn't Lana swordfighting, or was that my imagination? I'm pretty sure the hooded figure is Regina, since she's been teased as Emma's final villain.

The behind the scenes video showed Lana training for her fight with the Count of Monte Cristo. If she was training to be the person under the hood, she would have been using a different sword.

But there's still this:

Quote

“We’ve seen in the past that Emma’s Jafar was always the Evil Queen. Now that she’s out there somewhere, I would be worried about that.”

It's like they point blank say that the hooded figure is the Evil Queen. Either it's typical A&E redirect, or they dropped a huge hint.

All I know is that I can't wait for the Cinderella episode so that Ashley can give Emma the same "punch back against the world" speech Emma gave her in Season 1. I have a feeling Emma will be keeping the vision a secret until that episode, and then once Ashley gives Emma that mirrored speech, Emma will finally open up to Hook and her parents.

If that's true, the Cinderella episode can't come fast enough for me.

When I said I missed season one Emma, I meant the Emma who said things like that and cut down apple trees.  "Walls" were not on my list of Emma traits to bring back.

Over and over and over and over and over again.

This. I miss the Emma that didn't give a crap about whether or not doing the right thing offended someone. That wasn't about "walls". I'm glad she cares more about others now, but tiptoeing around others' feelings against your better judgement is not healthy. Regina and Henry can talk trash to her and she just takes it. S1 Emma would never do that.

The cloaked figure fighting with Emma seems too tall to be EQ...unless she has her in that towering hairdo!

It would seem the right height for Rumple Junior......

or is it llikely that the Emma we see it not actually our Emma...and Emma is hidden as the cloaked figure..

Rewatching again...interesting that Emma's DTs only started after she touched an object from the airship....then when holding the baton to take down  Hyde..maybe she is actually having some bizarre allergic reaction to anything from the LOUFS. ..

I  also noticed the cloaked figure appears to do Killian's signature twirl and only appears to use one hand....!
