I am with you 100%. At least they're allowing one storyline that's not all gloom and doom. Sorry if people think it's pointless, at least it's fun. Kinda like Hook's random adventure.

C-plot? I've always thought that the main storyline and the flashbacks counted as one plot, which would make the wedding stuff the B-plot.

To be fair...they aren't going to be any help with Armageddon No. 2 then they were with Armageddon No 1 original recipe curse or any of the various problems they had. Standing around and mouthing platitudes about "hope" with tears in your eyes or marching in the middle of main street does no one any good. Personally I loved last episode when Snow, who has experience with Evil Drag Queens from way back, stands there with her arrow pointed at the DF, giving the DF time to freeze her, and shoots the arrow "after" the DF gets to cackle about her evil plan and disappear. Frankly, I think the best thing for this show is to send those two idiots off to the EF for their happily ever after. They are useless.

But again, to be fair, no one on this show besides Emma and Regina are any good at dealing with any threat so.....

I think the cuteness TWU WUV overload of this wedding is really going to make me root for The Dark Fairy...if only she too wasnt an idiot...

I found the dialogue after that script tease.

HENRY: "Emma, what is it?"
EMMA: "It's your aunt Zelena. She's going batshit... again."
SNOW: "Wait... Zelena. That name sounds familiar. Did she babysit for us once?"
EMMA: "You don't remember the Wicked Witch?"
SNOW: "Oh her! She's Regina's cousin, right?"
EMMA: "You really need to talk to more people."

I've been thinking how wonderful it would be if all those light white fluffy wedding dresses Jen 'liked' were a decoy....and Emma wears a black or red leather wedding dress instead. Now wouldn't that blow Momzilla Snow's mind :o)))

So Emma is dressed like Princess Grace for her wedding.  It's fine, I suspect Jenn had a lot to do with it.  The headpiece is awful and the red lips too severe, but Jenn seems to favor red lips and having her hair pulled back.  I would've liked to have seen something a bit more Enchanted Forest/Camelot vs 1950's Hollywood but it's fine.  I'm cracking up at Henry holding "the book" during the ceremony.

It's not what I imagined. I don't really like the headdress part of the veil. Someone on tumblr posted a side by side with Grace Kelly's dress, and it looks pretty identical. http://mindyourhelm.tumblr.com/post/159794115872/grace-kellyemma-swan

Charming and Snow look nice. I'm guessing they don't have bridesmaids or groomsmen, because I would think Henry would be a groomsmen, in which case he wouldn't be sitting with Regina.

I still can't figure out where the ceremony is. Maybe it's just some random rooftop? Still bummed it's not on the Jolly Roger.

She looks stunning. Looks like Zelena is standing next to Regina- at least I think that's the bottom of her dress.

I wish Emma had a more modern wedding dress. However, JMo looks good in it. It just doesn't quite fit my conception of Emma's style. Snow probably helped pick it. I'm 100% convinced we're getting an elopement before the big ceremony after the momzilla-rumors surfaced. Snow's dress is awful.

Emma's dress makes the glimpse we've seen of Hook's wedding look even more sad. It looked like they just added a bow tie to his usual attire. But I guess we wouldn't recognize him as Captain Hook if he wasn't wearing his usual black leather, even at his own wedding, with his bride in full-on fairytale bride mode.

I also thought the lilies of the valley were a strange choice for flowers, until I looked it up, and Grace Kelly had those as well. Kate Middleton also had them in her bouquet when she married Prince William. I guess it makes sense, since they're all regular girls who became princesses. I know Emma was technically born a princess, but she didn't grow up knowing that.

I thought Hook was wearing a regular black tux, with a black dress shirt and a black bowtie. Are there photos of him in leather?

Yup. No leather. I liked that look on him, despite it being not very different from his normal attire color-scheme wise. lol

Why are they spoiling the wedding dress two weeks before the episode? It's like the Aladdin stuff they kept teasing for weeks.

NA passed quickly over the wedding and her article was all about other things. Typical.

I'm cringing at the wedding photo. First of all, why is it set in CGI Storybrooke? Did they rent the tiling from Granny's bathrooms? Of course, Henry brought his freaking book. I don't even know what Regina is wearing. The random extras in the background are a real turnoff. Did they just put out flyers so anyone in town could come? This would have been a great opportunity to get some great cameos. I realize we're only seeing one side of the aisle, but it's obviously Emma's side. Here's hoping Ariel, Tink, Liam 2.0, Nemo, Smee and some random pirates are on the other.

I'm being negative and I'm sorry, CS shippers.

It was close enough that in the grainy photo that's been leaked, it was hard to tell it wasn't his usual clothes. It looked like the current new coat with a black shirt. They must have used the same pattern to make it out of different material.

Not to worry. The Wedding looks so generic in style, locations, guests, dress, etc., that I'm hoping Hook and Emma are already married in a small ceremony. This whole season feels generic, so I guess it fits. :-p

6B has been about sloppily tying up loose ends in the cheapest ways possible. This wedding is no different. The writers decided it needed to happen due to the viable chance of cancellation, so they scrounged up a lazy and generic tying of the knot. It's obvious they just want to get it over with so they can move on to The Final Battle™, when the stars will align and cleave themselves of the darkness.

Because the next two weeks are going to be boring filler about characters we don't really care about.

At first I was surprised Emma was wearing such a conservative dress, but seeing the Grace Kelly comparison made me love it. I really dig the bold pop of red lipstick and the veil.

I hate to say this, but I don't like Emma's wedding dress. I really don't. It's too conservative and frumpy for my tastes (and I also can't see Emma picking it) and I hate how it is exactly like Grace Kelly's since I've always imagined Emma in something more unique. The headpiece is also atrocious. I think I might like it better if her hair was down or if the veil wasn't covering her face. The dress would also be better if it didn't have that high collar and if it had shorter sleeves. I really wish I liked her look, but it's just too severe. It's entirely possible I'll love it once the episode airs, but right now I don't.

I like Zelina and the actress playing her, but I was thinking at this point since she is so removed from the story, they did not need to shoe-horn an episode of her when there are so many other things that could have used more time.  Take a little more time to wrap up the other story lines and actually show some of the fall-out of what has happened earlier in the season rather than hop scotch from one crisis to the next with superficial resolution.

I think the makeup preference is just personal taste. Personally, I love bright red lips and taking risks with colors like purples and hot pinks, but I know others are more into the neutral look. I'm normally not a veil fan, but the visual of Killian lifting the veil with his hook has me sold.

If they're on a rooftop, it's probably Granny's, right?

I don't mind Zelena, but now is not the time for her centric. This is why the centric formula needs to go. If they just focused on telling one cohesive story where every episode gives ample focus to all the characters, then we wouldn't have whiplash all the time.

I would guess for the same reason they teased the Aladdin stuff for weeks: the ratings are tanking, and a wedding is usually a big ratings boost. Unfortunately, anyone who tunes in looking forward to the wedding will get a week of Zelena filler and may forget about the show again by the time the wedding actually rolls around.

It could be like The Office, where we learn when the big formal wedding turns into an embarrassing disaster that they'd already held a private, personal ceremony. We'll get a flashback of them being married by Nemo on the deck of the Jolly Roger, so they don't care that the Black Fairy interrupts the ceremony. Or else -- and more likely -- the big ceremony mostly planned by Snow and counter to Emma and Hook's tastes (and thus the dress that doesn't seem quite right) will be interrupted by the Black Fairy before the "I pronounce you man and wife" part, there will be the big Final Battle, and then they'll finish the wedding in a quieter, more personal way.

I read somewhere that what was available in a town still in a time warp played into the dress design...i didn't think SB was stuck in the 50s!

I don't hate the dress ...like the wedding being im town hall...weird tree arch thing...maybe a callback to the bean stalk. The bouquet seems to be snowbells...the flowers that Johanna grew because they reminded her of the EF.

It all looks like a Mary .Margaret fantasy to me....Violet didn't get an invite or she'd be with Henry. So glad Regina doesn't look like she's officiating or the Maid of Honor...

It just seems.....off, as in, left of centre....

I just find it hard to muster any excitement for the wedding knowing that we are in for yet another multi-ep separation for Emma & Hook :(.

In terms of the dress, I really had no expectations, so I think it's fine (except I was hoping her hair would be down). I just REALLY wish the wedding was more focused on the two of them - their friends and things that were meaningful to them (nautical theme anyone?), but this show doesn't pay attention to that kind of thing at all. Yes, we should be seeing Ashley and Elsa there for Emma and Liam, Nemo, and Smee there for Hook. Instead we'll just see the dwarves, Granny, and a bunch of random townsfolk. Yes, it should be taking place on the Jolly or in the backyard of their house, but instead it's just some random rooftop. And as much as I'd love them to pull a Jim & Pam and get married ahead of this big ceremony, I just don't think there's any time for something like that. Oh well.

Finally, WTF is Henry doing with the Storybook in that picture? I'm sorry, but that's just weird!

I take back what I said earlier. I've read some tumblr posts on the possible reasons why Jen thought Emma would pick a Grace Kelly dress and I'm beginning to like Emma's wedding dress. Emma looks beautiful and happy and the only thing that should matter is that she's marrying her true love. However, nothing is going to make me like that headpiece.

Yeah, the whole style feels very Snow. But then again, we thought Snow picked out Emma's pink first date dress, but apparently that was all Emma. It's not that the style is bad, I actually kind of like the vintage vibe, but I always imagined a small wedding on the Jolly Roger where Emma is in a more contemporary Elie Saab outfit.

I just hope they had eloped before this Princess extravaganza. I'll never be satisfied if Elsa, Ariel and the likes aren't there tho. All the people both Emma and Hook have encountered or helped should be there not just Emma's family.

I'm wondering if they went with the dress because it was something in the "wardrobe" already and they wouldn't have to make it.  The whole thing is a replica of Grace's wedding look.  They should've left off the headdress.

That sneak peek is what I've wanted this show to be like for forever. Why can't the wedding planning be the A-Plot? I'd much rather watch Snow and Charming bicker all episode than whatever random feud the Black Fairy has with Zelena. They haven't even interacted yet, have they? Why introduce this now?

How I wish... but if a small wedding does happen, Regina will officiate it. Also, the big ceremony does go through, as Emma and Killian are wearing their rings during the Final Battle episode filming.

Sneak Peek was fun. But Granny's Snow?? Really?? lol And of course David's still not over Whale. 

I kinda feel Emma's parents should have zero say in the planning Emma's Wedding after what we found last week.

Yes x100! There's no reason we can't get fun, family moments in between all the gloom and doom. Henry was a little annoying with his comment about the Jolly Rodger, but then he almost made up for it with his "ouch" after David brought up Whale. Sorry, I guess I'm just a sucker for the Charming-Jones family moments and the fun (and the CaptainSwan cuddling). These scenes help build characters and relationships, and show us what they're really fighting for. And it demonstrates the fact that they can write fun, happy moments - and the actors can really pull them off!

It looks like they get married by the docks? I'd actually love it if that were true because the docks is more a Emma and Killian thing than just an Emma thing or a Killian thing. Or if Emma and Killian found a bean hitched to Enchanted Forest along with Archie and eloped by the beanstock. lol
