So Eve decides to go all incognito to the park to place the money.....and then the uber-sneaky JJ shows up and catches her - on camera...Great disguises, you two doofuses, or should I say, doofi?

Eve%20and%20JJ%20in%20the%20park.jpg

Okay......nobody will notice.  These two are just so smooth - and so smart.

Where the hell are Moose and Squirrel when you need them anyway?

I'm at the point where I want to see JJ brought down as much as I do Eve.  Maybe more, since I expected better of him.  Show, instead, decided to make him just as nuts and just as selfish as his mother and sister.  I'm hoping the Paige train runs roughshod over the whole lot of them.

What the hell with Dan anyway??  The guy calls Serena to his office to interrogate her about Xander as if it's ANY OF HIS DAMN BUSINESS.  It's not as if he suspects anything, it's not as if he has impinged on his life in any way, it's only because he is the nosiest buttinsky in Salem - even more than his mother, and that's really saying a lot.  He's constantly sticking his nose into other people's business, and now he's just looking for something to hit Nicole with because she told him to take his support hose and go home.

In a lot of old movies, they'd often have an older woman be the town gossip or busybody, which isn't really fair since men do it just as often and just as well, as Dan proves.  To portray him this way, and then to also try to make him into some sort of sex object, well, it just doesn't work.....

Dan%20gossip.jpg

This is how Daniel looks to me.

And to ONCE AGAIN slam the door in Nicole's face, I really wish she'd just shoot the bastard.  Or geld him.  I don't care.  But enough with trying to tell us this judgemental gossipy asshole is some sort of prize.

I like Justin with Sonny, but I'm not too crazy about Justin pimping Sparkle to Sonny.  It's fine if he doesn't like Will - right now, who does?  But it would also be nice if he'd mind his own business.

And although I don't care for Sparkle, I did feel a twinge of sympathy today, when he was trying to bond with Jawn.  Jawn' mumbling was so bad, and along with him talking through his nose I had to put on closed captioning to understand what he was saying.  And he still didn't make sense.

Sparkle is going to wish Mama Norita never told him the truth.   A fantasy dead father is a step up from Jawn and Brady.  At least the dead fantasy doesn't talk - or punch.  Or pass gas.

I'm counting the days until everything blows up in Eve and JJ's faces, and I'm so going to relish any shrapnel that heads Jenn and Abigail's way.

If Sparkle were as Super Amazing and Awesome as some people in Salem like to think they shouldn't feel the need to keep pimping him to Sonny. Sonny should be able to realize how great he is on his own without their interference.

Exactly Leftphalange, the propping of Sparkle reminds me of Daniel and I will never like the character. The more the show trashes Will to make sparkle more worthy of Sonny, the more I hate him...Sparkle is the new Daniel and Abigail, people have to be sullied for him to shine.

I am not saying Will should not be disliked, I just feel that this storyline has made everybody unlikable, including Sonny..Sonny is weak and passive..He has never been that...He was always confident and knew what he wanted out of life and went for it..Now he is indecisive and dumb..Letting Sparkle be comfortable in his marital home with his daughter is a big NO NO..

I don't dislike Sonny and I don't see him as weak.  His conversation with Justin reinforced that for me yesterday.

As for Sparkle being with Ari, that was a soap situation that really couldn't be avoided in the moment.  And it's not as if Sparkle is going to hurt the kid, other than possibly blinding her with his Dentyne smile.'

Sonny hasn't been hurt by this storyline IMO.  But everyone around him looks like a cluelss doofus.

I don't know what to say about a day where the 'most interesting' story is the Eve/JJ/Paige/Jen fiasco and half of that was pretty much done via text messaging. I am beginning to think that was how today's script was written: via text message.

Oh how sweet of Jen to offer to check her freshman college son's homework. No helicopter parenting going on there.

giphy.gif

Glad to see the Salem brain with Paige. Would love to see Brady get a hold off it once or twice. I am beginning to think the Salem brain has a restraining order against Brady.

I am so ready for this thing to wrap up.

And here I thought Brady and Theresa being insta-parents was one of the worst story developments that I wanted no parts of. Enter Jawn and Sparkle. I stand corrected. Watching Sparkle trying to bond with Father Flatulence was one of the most FF worthy events on Days in a while and I am include Abby/Ben scenes in that too. At least, with those two the snark can be fun.  I just got nothing with John and Paul.

Remember the days of speculation when some thought that Paul might be devious? That he absolutely knew that Will was Sonny husband and was targeting him in order to break up their marriage. Halcyon days. Like Slayer mentioned, I am glad there is a minority, Asian no less which is such a rarity in daytime, featured on the show. Its alright that they didn't make Paul dark but did they have to make him so damn pristine and irreproachable? He might as well be a Horton. Oh wait, he can't be a Horton he hasn't really exhibited enough judgment against others, although he has appeared self-involved, especially earlier on, but not really at Horton defcon levels.  But if he ever admits to being seduced by Will a few months down the road....

STFU Nicole and mind your own damn business and then find some self respect and tell Dan to fuck off.

It pains me to agree with this (not the fuck off Dan part but the STFU Nicole part), because I really do love me some Nicole.  For the most part, the character and actress are coasting on the fumes of my admiration for her stellar performance during the whole Sami/EJ/Nicole babyswitch crappola. The elephant story she is being shoe-horned into is a disservice to everyone involved. Eric is getting the worst of it because he is such a passive clueless fool who has become a footnote in his own story. He has no agency and is always a victim. He needs to either get a clue or fall. Maybe this is meant to somehow redeem Nicole completely with Eric or get them back together by having her all up in his kool-aid but we all know how this is gonna end. Dirty Dan Jonas swooping in and saving the day. So I don't see the point of it all.

Everyone else on this show annoys me or bores me.  Why any of the women in Salem put up with the abusive men, I do not know.  It's gotten beyond offensive.

When you are watching a fictional show with bad storylines and you find yourself wishing that there was an adult equivalent to child protective stories for the female characters on a daily series - Houston we have a problem. Does the show seriously think this is cute? Are they just so enamored with having a real life off-screen couple being an on-screen pairing? Why would I want to watch Nicole taste Dan's oak door as it slams in her face every other week? I am not inclined to torture myself but I am sure that if anyone looked at the Dan/Nicole spoilers for the last few months, they all pretty much read the same way. They get close, make plans, then something happens (Nicole breathes and pisses Dan off) and Dan acts like a judgy judge, tosses her out of his apartment, treats her like crap and she comes a begging for forgiveness. Honey, if this was on Lifetime, it would be starring Nancy McKeon and entitled A Cry for Help and the point of it would be her finally having the strength to leave her abusive mate. But on Days, it is a love story for the ages. I.CAN.NOT.

I find Sonny weak because he is not giving Sparkle any boundaries at all. Sparkle is always coming on to him and he does nothing to stop that..Now he is letting him hold Ari and play with her, knowing how Will feels about him...I think it would have been different if she was his biological child, since she is not, he has to be careful...I still find it weird that he is so cool with him, knowing that he touched Will...

So yesterday Jenn said to Paige (after Paige left), "You're going be so surprised in a couple of hours." She was referring to the party of course, but is there any hope that it was an anvil for the audience? Like, hey guys, on Wednesday we're going to reveal the Eve/JJ thing to Paige? I am more than ready for the meltdown and aftermath. Paige ought not be played for a fool much longer.

I agree with others about the decline of the JJ character. I used to find him somewhat tragic, but now I think he's just a selfish asshole. I didn't post about it then, and I know it is out of date, but I really didn't like it that he basically decided they were going to live together in CA. She asked for time to think about it but he started announcing it to everyone right after that, as if he just assumed her decision. And even when he did pay lip service to her request for time, he framed it as hours - like he defined her need for time according to the schedule he desired. Not a good look, JJ.

On another out-of-date note: I don't understand why Will didn't tell Sonny that Clyde came over and threatened Arianna? That was clearly why Will changed his mind and decided to go to Poplar Bluff. Will was saying he would drop the story, then Clyde came over and they had that awful scene where Clyde kept saying he hoped nothing ever happened to Arianna and telling Will he (Clyde) wanted him to do the story. That was what sparked the decision, yet when Sonny asked, Will just glossed over his reasons so it became a big deal for their relationship if Will went? It's like a farce inserted into a narrative that doesn't call for it.

I think it is just a way for the show to insert more drama into the Wilson marriage..I would not be surprise that when Paul and Sonny finally have sex, Clyde does something to Arianna. Perhaps he kidnaps her or something...If Will had told Sonny about his threats against their daughter, I have no doubt that Sonny would kill him...It would be a perfect way to write Sonny out, he kills Clyde to protect his family and Victor whisks him away to Greece to avoid prosecution. It would be an organic way to darken Sonny without destroying the character...He comes back weeks later with Big brother Alex after Victor pressures Hope not to press charges against Sonny...

This is true. #FML for watching this show, and now that they dumped Paul Telfer she'll go snivelling back to Dan's pathetic judgemental ass and I'll have to hear about it, or just as bad she'll be crawling back to Eric the Grey and I will die of the boredom. Rafe isn't doing anything, why can't I get my Rafe/Nicole, I've been waiting YEARS!!! Their chemistry is actually organic and he accepts her for who she is and loves her anyway. They need to stop pairing him with people that nobody cares about and put him with Nicole! Until then I guess I hope off this stupid train in August.

They already fired the guy who played Xander? Geez. What is with this show bringing people on and giving them a contract and press then them leaving in months (like Shrewena and Toothy and Xander)?

Sonny should have told Sparkle to fuck off a long time ago. Sparkle's begging and harassment is extremely off putting.

If Abifail and Dan got together I think Salem would combust. Would Maggie and Victor stand by Dan? Would Lucas stick up for Abifail? Would racoon Jen keep making excuses for her nasty ass daughter? Would JJ get all up in Dan's face?

My dream storyline is for Dannifer to reunite and Abifail to get some kind of illness/injury that would require treatment from Dark Roast (and we know what happens between Dark Roast and his patients).  And I need for the good people of Salem to be shocked, SHOCKED, and for Sami to come back and laugh in their faces.

My God, but that gorgeous bit of acting from Will today after Paul punched him was worth the price of admission. His wooziness and near swooning in Sonny's arms had me laughing my ass off--I swear, Sneasel is the next Meryl Streep :)  Of course Sonny is being the caring husband and is he going to listen to Paul's side of things?  Very interesting indeed.

I did like Will's actually referencing his mother's personal trauma and how it ruined her life for years and Sparkle's disbelief played real to life for me.  Who could believe that adults would actually behave the way Marlena and John did?  But then Will's dig at Ms. Tori Simpson was kind of bizarre.  Is there anything in that woman's stilted line delivery that screams hot, passionate or sexy?  She seems pretty buttoned up to me,

At this point, I want Eve and JJ to both be destroyed by the reveal because JJ is becoming as smugly unpleasant as his sister.  I actually believe that Jennifer wished that she handled the situation with Eve better--like maybe if she'd just given Eve the money out right instead of being petty about it all, JJ and Eve never would have slept together.  That shows some self-awareness on Jenn's part.  Color me shocked :)

I think Will is sort of correct in his estimation of Paul (i.e he wants Sonny), but, geez, why does Will come across as a mental case even when what he's saying has some truth to it?

Will taking advantage of the situation after Sparkle punched him is the first time he's ever done anything that reminded me of Sami. He couldn't have planned that better if he tried. I bet Sparkle is feeling pretty stupid right now. I love it.

I'm torn.  I love that Sparkle shot himself in the foot by punching Will, and Sneasel taking advantage of that would be funny, however, Sneasel stabbed Sami in the back and took Jar Jar's side over her so I'm still annoyed by him.

Will and Sonny kissing at the end of the episode actually made me nauseous- that's never happened before, as much as i have always despised Will. Lied to Sonny's face then got sympathy sex- there's no way this show honestly expects me to root for Wilson so thank god I do not. #freesonny

On that note- million dollar arm INDEED Paul- can't wait till Sonny finds out what really happened.

Paul got what he deserve for trying to bond with Wilson's daughter. He is a stranger to her. His entitlement has no bounds...What Paul wants, Paul gets....As soon as Will came home, he should have left...He should not have engaged in conversation with Will..Now he  is going to whine to Sonny about how mean Will was to him...Both Paul and Will are pathetic for different reasons...

I don't care for this version of Will, but Will telling Paul that doesn't mean that Paul has to stay. Paul should have just said "you don't control my actions or movements, so I'm out of here."

5/19/2015 Recap :)

Paul/Will/Ari/Sonny

We start with Paul playing with Ari and Will coming home from yesterday. Paul says hi to Will and Will wants Paul away from Ari and takes her from him. Paul says he'll leave and Will says he's not going anywhere. Will puts Ari away and Paul explains about the sitter and Will wants to know why he's here and Paul tells him he was there yesterday and thinks Paul was trying to steal Sonny and Ari and Paul tells him he's trying to patch things up between him and Will and how he's also in town to bond with John. Will doesn't believe it and says that Paul and John have something in common. Will says that John seduced Marlena away from Roman like Paul seducing Sonny. Will talks about the affair with John & Mar and Paul thinks Will is exaggerating and Will says he's just like his parents and says Tori sleeps around and Paul tells him to watch it on talking about Tori, but will keeps it up and says that Tori whored around so much she lost track of who she slept with which Paul punches Will as Sonny walks in the house.

Sonny asks what was he thinking and Paul says he's not leaving until he knows that Will is okay. Sonny wants Paul out and Will comes to and doesn't know what happened and then remembers and says they were talking and Paul hit him trying to play victim all while sneering at Paul as Paul leaves.

Paul is at the Square upset with himself for punching Will. Sonny goes to call 911 but Will doesn't want him to and Sonny said he's taking him to the hospital but Will doesn't want to go as he'll be embarrassed. Sonny wants him to go to the hospital but Will doesn't and Sonny wants to know what they were fighting about and Will says it was about Sonny and how Paul just swung on him. Will wants to know why Paul was at the apartment and Sonny tells Will the babysitting story, stuck in traffic and how he should have made other plans and apologizes. Will wonders what would have happened if he came home later. Sonny says nothing would have happened between him and Paul. Will says that's maybe why Paul is mad at him and Sonny ask is that the reason why Paul hit him which Will pretty much evades and tells Sonny that Paul is trying to steal his family since he saw him holding Ari. Sonny goes to check on Ari.

Sonny's phone vibrates which Will picks up and sees Paul calling. Will answers the pone and tells Paul to leave them alone and Paul apologizes for hitting him and Will tells him to stay away as it's what he and Sonny wants. Will hangs up and puts the phone back in it's place. Sonny comes out and tells him Ari is sleep and wonders why Will is standing up and to sit down. Will says he doesn't want Ari exposed to that type of violence while Sonny gets Will some ice. Sonny asks why Paul hit him and what did Will say to Paul and Will says because he told Paul that they're gonna stay together and how Paul wants Sonny and how he'll do anything to get Sonny.

Will says that Paul may have been frustrated and appreciate Paul not being in the house which Sonny agrees. Will says he missed Sonny and how they haven't been together since Sonny was stabbed. Will wonders if he ruined it and when Sonny looks at him all he sees are mistakes which Sonny denies and tells Will that he loves him. Will says that he misses Sonny and needs him and goes to kiss but Sonny says Will was just knocked out and Will says he misses him again and they kiss on the couch.

Serena/Xander

Serena says it's a coincidence that the photo popped up but Xander says the photo is the most incriminating photo in his gallery and would not be the first thing in his photo gallery and Serena asks if anyone had his phone and Xander flashes back to Nicole having her hands on it and in real times says Nicole. Xander explains that Nicole took the picture and how she twisted her ankle which Serena doesn't know why Xander left Nicole alone with his phone unlocked and now Nicole is on to them. Serena says it's a disaster and Xander says not to jump to conclusions. Serena tells Xander that Nicole is playing him and if she stumbled on it and the fact she saw the elephant photo they could be in trouble. Xander doesn't know why Serena is panicked and Serena says Nicole knows a lot more.

They both try to blame each other and Xander tells her to shut up and get out as he has to think. Before leaving Serena says there's something he should know. That she told Dan that Nicole was here which Xander calls careless and it's not like Serena at all. Serena says she's not to blame and Xander is playing with fire and how Nicole isn't worth it cause she knows Xander hates Dan. Xander tells her to get out and he'll have the final numbers on the diamond and they'll be done and she better find a way out of Salem. Serena leaves.

Serena/Eric

Eric meets Serena at the park and Serena says she has good news about future and hopes it includes Eric as she's about done with her work in Salem. Eric says that he wants to be part of Serena's future and Serena tells him to pack his bags and get ready for Hawaii which Eric thought they had time to think about it. Serena says the job offer is limited and she'll lose it if she doesn't take it. Serena says she doesn't wanna rush it but she can't say no to the job and if they gonna be together it's the only way.

Nicole/Maggie/Eric

Nicole is at TBD and flashes back to Dan slamming the door in her face. She says to herself she should have told him that she's not interested in Xander and only investigating him, she wants Dan to think that she's interested in Xander and how she needs proof to catch Serena and Xander red handed and Dan will understand. Maggie asks what Dan will understand as she overheard Nicole talking to herself. Nicole says that she and Dan got into an argument and hopefully will understand her point. Maggie says Dan is an understanding man and to not hurt him which Nicole says she won't. Maggie goes to leave but Nicole wants to go to Dan's apartment to get something but Maggie says no and Nicole says she let Serena in and Maggie says look how that turned out. Maggie has to go drop off things at Jen's. Nicole wants to get in the apartment and knows Mel can't so she calls Eric and wants to meet him as she needs his help.

Nicole tells Eric that her and Serena had a stupid fight and wants to make peace with Serena which Eric says is great if she means it. Nicole says she does and says she's been unfair to Serena asking Serena about her past and the elephant statue on whether there is one or two and asks Eric if there is one or two. Nicole says she's sworn there was two and Eric says there was two and how and Serena both owned one and how Eric gave his to Parker and brought them in Africa. Nicole wonders if Xander brought one for himself which Eric says no. Eric wants to know why Nicole is quizzing him on the elephant statues and Nicole says she's gonna come clean about the reason why she's asking about the elephants.

Eric asks what she's up to as Nicole has no use for African trinkets and Nicole says Serena does as she's looking for a replacement elephant to give to Serena. Nicole says she doesn't want Serena to be an enemy and for it to be a gesture. Eric says the statue was in a little village in Africa and very rare to find and Nicole says she'll get Serena something else and she doesn't want Eric telling Serena which he says he won't and Eric thanks her for the drink and leaves. Nicole says to herself that Eric is wrong and wonders why Xander has a picture of it on his phone and has to get a closer look at the elephant in person, she looks at something above a TBD worker and says, "That's it,".

Nicole calls Lou and asks for a favor and how she left something in Dan's apartment and needs to get in there which Lou will do. Nicole waits for Lou outside of Dan's apartment and thinks it's him when she hears the elevator doors open but it's Xander.

Jennifer/Maggie

Jen is setting the party up at home and she flashes back to her convo with Dan about telling Paige the truth. Real time Jen says it's too late now to tell the truth. Maggie is at the house helping with setting up the party and Jen asks Maggie to give her scissors. Maggie sees JJ's acceptance letter on the desk and asks about it but doesn't want to pry but the letter was just there. Jen explains about JJ going to Cali with Paige and how JJ won't be happy unless he's with Paige and thinks that the move will be good for both of them and to get them away from Eve.

Maggie and Jen talk about Eve some more and how Eve will always hate her and it will effect the kids. Maggie says that Eve holds a grudge and Jen says that Eve is trying to undermine JJ at every turn and Maggie says that Jen can't control someone.

JJ arrives home and says that Paige is gonna be surprised with the party.

Eve/JJ

JJ confronts Eve about Cole and how he's the one that sent the messages and wants her to confess so he can send to the cops. Eve tries to wrestle the phone away from JJ and while she's doing that JJ is sending backup files to his computer. JJ hands it over and tells Eve he has backup files and how she and Cole can go to jail and that Roman will find it convincing and Paige will know unless they go somewhere private which Eve doesn't want to but JJ threatens to go to the police so she decides to go with him.

They arrive at Eve's house and she wants him to speak fast and leave. JJ says she's done jerking him around and lying about accepting him and Paige. Eve calls him paranoid and JJ says that if Eve does anything more he will go to the police. Eve says the video won't stand up in court and JJ says Cole will testify which Eve says Cole will implicate himself. Eve says that she didn't tell Cole to plant drugs on him which JJ doesn't believe but Eve says it's true and that she wouldn't ask Cole to do that. JJ says she will have to pay and has her dead to rights and Eve says that if JJ goes to the cops she'll tell Paige they slept together.

JJ thinks she's bluffing but Eve said she would. JJ says that Eve would risk her relationship with Paige which Eve says maybe so. Eve says she would tell Paige that JJ seduced her when she was vulnerable which Paige will remember since Paige seen her that night distraught. JJ says Paige will remember him and Paige getting into a fight that night as well and Eve seducing him. Eve says who will Paige believe more though. JJ says Eve jumped him and Eve says JJ jumped her and JJ says he wish he could take back that night cause he's sick of the thought of touching her. Eve says why he came back for more again, and again, and again.

JJ says he was out of his mind everytime he came over and Eve says is that what he tells himself. JJ says he loves Paige and how Eve can't hurt him. Eve says that JJ is lying to Paige and Eve threatens to tell again and if JJ takes her down she'll take him down. JJ says he has proof and Eve says that she'll tell the truth and JJ says Paige won't believe her as she doesn't have proof and that Eve will sound like a lunatic and being behind bars she'll be alone because Paige will never speak to her again and that Eve won't do it and JJ says it's over and everything ends right now or he'll go to the police.

JJ wants to hear Eve say it and she better say it or he'll go to the police and it will end one way or another. Eve says fine and won't try to come between him and Paige and she'll keep her mouth shut. JJ says he will keep the evidence and Eve tells him to do that. Eve says that she wouldn't have let Cole do it and how JJ won't be able to keep Paige for a year because he'll be history. JJ says he's going with Paige and how he's been accepted to a college in Cali and they're moving to Cali together which Eve looks a little pissed.

Eve calls him a bastard and ruining Paige's life by clinging to her and how Paige would drop him if she was in Cali. JJ says he's in love with her. Eve says JJ is robbing Paige and she's better than JJ and too good for him. JJ says Paige is an amazing person and needs a real mother but look who Paige ended up with as a mother which Eve says Paige loves her and thinks JJ is trying to poison Paige against her which JJ denies. JJ says he doesn't want to hurt Paige and Eve better keep quiet. Eve thinks JJ is trying to keep Paige away from her but JJ says that he and Paige are starting a new life together and nothing will stop them and JJ leaves. Eve cries.

Eve pours herself a drink and says JJ is right as there's nothing she can do now as Paige stands in the doorway looking at Eve.

Why does Days have so many shitty ass characters?

We start with skid mark Sneasel who lies to Sonny yet again as to why Sparkles punched him. He doesn't mention the fact that he basically called Tori a whore. That pitiful victim act when he wakes up out of consciousness with they were just talking and Sparkles hit him, like Sparkles didn't have reason to hit him. How I wish Sonny didn't reciprocate the kiss.

Then we have diarrhea JJ who is so far down my shit list it's unreal. I completely loathed him today. He needed to get socked in the mouth. There's no coming back for JJ for me. I'll forever hate him.

Then we have that smelly fart Naggie just being nosy as usual.

How ironic! JJ and Eve have their latest confrontation in the privacy of her apartment only to have Paige be in the other room listening the whole time.

It would have gone so much better for them if they'd done that in the park... like everyone else does.

(Also... KDP is killing it lately. I am praying to the dark, abyssal lords of soap that she get OUT of this morass of a story and interacting with 'adults' soon. Given that no one is really that 'adult' in Salem, I have to use that phrase with my tongue firmly in cheek. Still... at least it seems like this is the end of this wretched storyline.)

All that aside... I'm totally okay with Jennifer and Eve continuing to interact. Missy and Kassie are kind of awesome together.

Paul tried to leave, Will told him he wasn't going anywhere, so Will got exactly what he deserved- a punch and the most hesitant Sonny sex I've ever seen

Sparkle should have never shown up to Will and Sonny's home in the first place.

This was the second time that he showed up to their place...He could have gone to TBD and given Sonny back the shirt..he just wanted to be around Sonny and Ari again....Paul has no right to be around Ari period...Sonny should never have let that happen. He used to get in Gabi's face about letting Nick be around Ari and she is her mother....

I agree.  Jenn and Eve interacting is the most interesting couple onscreen for me currently.  I'm sort of shocked, since it's been ages since I've been able to enjoy MR in ANY storyline.  And while the storyline itself sucks, these two, as enemies, frenemies, whatever, at least currently, brings out the best in both actors.

Paul didn't seem to be trying to bond with Ari for any other reason that he was left there to take care of her. Was he supposed to just sit there and ignore her until one of her parents came home? I'm not holding that, or the punch, or him staying when Will told him to against him. I wasn't necessarily rooting for Paul before, but I am now.

I'm no Sparkles fan but that punch was warranted, I'll be damned if you basically called my mom a whore. I bet Sneasel wouldn't like it if Sparkles found some things out about Sami if he was to look into Sami's past. I'm not even gonna be on Sneasel's side because he lied to Sonny yet again. Shows how much he respects Sonny when he keeps boldly lying in his face.

Sonny didn't have a problem with Sparkles watching Ari until he got home.

Sparkle and Will are both nauseating, but at least I liked Will at one point and he's the son of Sami and Lucas. Sparkle is some nobody who has been shoehorned into the show and is the product of some retconned sexcapade between Jawn and some stupid pathetic woman portrayed by a bad actress.

It wasn't his place, but he was kind of forced into it by the hopefully soon-to-be-fired babysitter.

Exactly.  And what was he supposed to do once he was stuck there with her - ignore her and watch TV?

The contrivances in this story are so stupid.

He should have called John or Justin his new bff....Justin might have declined since Ari is Lucas's granddaughter and Will's kid...

I do not like Sparkle no matter how bright his teeth may be, but I don't hold it against him for taking care of the kid at all.  I was all ready to, UNTIL Sonny asks him to do it (because Bad Babysitter who for some inexplicable reason carries her sister's insurance card INSTEAD of her sister).  So IMO, that is that.  He didn't put the kid in the freezer, or on a leash, or give her a cocktail, he just took care of the kid temporarily until Sonny could get home.  If Sonny asked him to do it then it would have been completely inappropriate for Sparkle to second-guess him and call somebody else.  Done.

So Sneasel escaped his hamster cage in Poopers Corners or wherever the hell Clyde is from and comes early and loses it.  That's on Sneasel.

Although I would have been happiest if BOTH of them had gotten knocked out and Ari called a cab and went to TBD for a scotch.

Same here..What did Sparkle expect? being in Will's home playing with his daughter.....I am pretty sure he will be running after Sonny begging to be heard.

What did he expect?  He wasn't molesting the little girl.  He could be treated with respect.

I'm a little shocked JJ and Eve didn't start doing it on the couch, only for Paige to actually see them in the act. The writers decided not to gross us out too much in the reveal. How oddly disappointing....

Why should Will treat Sparkle with respect when Sparkle has spent months begging Sonny to dump him?

I don't care for this version of Will, but Will telling Paul that doesn't mean that Paul has to stay. Paul should have just said "you don't control my actions or movements, so I'm out of here."

Until Will chased him down and hit him with a vase and tied him up or something till he got answers to why he was there (oh god, I just realized I'm only half kidding)

I understand your point, absolutely. My point isn't whether Paul could have left, just that he actually tried to- he wasn't looking for a fight, Will was. And he got one. Intentions and actions were being mixed together, in my opinion, and I was just pointing out what played out

Exactly Leftphalange, he  is no better than Will...They are both despicable in different ways. I am ready for Wilson to divorce and go their separate way, while co-parenting Ari....It is becoming toxic like EJ and Sami...Sparkle needs to find a reason to live in this world, other than begging Sonny all the time..If Sonny was really into you, he would have left his disloyal, lying,  cheating husband and taken up with you. If I was Sparkle, I would be thinking about that....

Paul should have left instead of obeying Will's orders to stay. My dislike for Will just grows more and more with each show.  Will is so pathetic.  "You wanted to hold my daughter and steal my husband."  Ugh, can't stand him. John seduced Marlena, huh?  You do lie a lot, don't you, Will? Funny the scene of the punch we got in the show didn't match the picture that was posted online. Aw, poor little Will, so mistreated.

Nicole, quit talking to yourself or you're going to be carted away.

I'm shocked that Xander is willing to give Nicole the benefit of the doubt.

Did Paige hear JJ and Eve arguing?

Lovely 50 shades of black attire today, Maggie.

The dialogue with Will and Paul still plays as if Sonny was the one who cheated on Will.

Writers please take note:  Will is the cheater.  Paul is the interloper.  Sonny is the wronged party who is not only stuck with these two dolts, he also has to listen to his idiot relatives lame advice.

The writers probably already had scripts written with Sonny as the cheater but forgot to change the dialogue once they decided to have Will be the one to cheat.

I agree with that...Back when the affair between EJ and Abifail had been exposed...Will was arguing with Sami and he smugly said that Sonny would never cheat on him...We all thought that was anvil that Sonny was going to cheat on Will..Especially when they had Will ignore Sonny while he was in LA. Guy Wilson said that when he got the script, he was shocked by the Will cheating storyline...Plus, Freddie had sent out a tweet that said that there was an unexpected twist that nobody saw coming...

It would have been cool to see Sonny be the one to screw up, and for Will to struggle with forgiving Sonny while secretly plotting to destroy Sparkle. Will could have even outed Sparkle ruining his career...They could have taken Will down the dark side in a way that made sense to his history on the show..Will could have become more and more unhinged , thinking that Sparkle was trying to destroy his family, culminating in him trying to kill Sparkle like he did with Ej all those years ago....EJ was a threat to his perfect family years ago, when Lumi finally got together to the utter delight of Will...In a fugue state Will, would shoot Sparkle  and he would be in a coma. A guilt-ridden Sonny would take the blame for Will just like Lucas did for him with EJ. Will would have no recollection of trying to kill Sparkle...Will would finally remember the truth in a dramatic fashion at Sonny's Attempted murder trial, confessing his role in the crime...Will would be institutionalized, meanwhile Sparkle wakes up vowing revenge on Wilson...
