No matter what you think about Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., he wants to get those pharmaceutical commercials off the tv. I would welcome that! No more dancing about a little pill with a big story to tell.

I'm fascinated with how bad the choreography is in the Jardiance commercials. It gets worse with every new one. It's like they just got some random person who was already working the commercial to do the choreography.

If you watch geezer TV like I do (MSNBC), those drug commercials make you think about death all the time! Because usually a side effect is death!

I can't help but feel that that's on purpose. There's a little wink wink there. "Look at our adorably awkward dance routine!"

They're already at 54 days to the wedding? What have those two been doing for a month?

Arguing.

I’m sad to report that Richard Chamberlain died at 90yo. Dr. Kildare was must see tv.

And he was a dream in the original Shogun. What a handsome man.

It was The Thornbirds for me, when mini-series were a must see tv event. 🤩😍

Bless him, and RIP.

Someone on Reddit was saying "Boomers" her MIL'S age have the mindset that women shouldn't work! Guess their history books forgot to include the era of "Women's Right to Work."

I’m old enough to remember that the woman’s movement meant that women should have choices about careers, motherhood, etc. Somehow it morphed into a judgmental lecture to women who don’t make the “right” choices. One of my DIL is a stay at home mom and she said she gets unrelenting shit from other women. Eventually, she’ll get a job, maybe even have a career. Just not right now.

@sainte-chapelle, how's the vertigo?

In other news, I got my new passport this weekend. If I need to make a run for it I might wind up on your doorstep. I'll bring booze.

Bring some good bourbon. It’s all been pulled from the shelves. It’s getting there thanks! I think the steroids are helping and I am seeing a specialist in May to get more tests done.
