ams1001 January 24 Share January 24 (edited) Get off my TV, David Muir! You're interrupting my Jeopardy! (Okay, they didn't actually skip anything, but stay off my TV, anyway. It's not news time.) Edited January 24 by ams1001 2 2 3 Link to comment
SoMuchTV January 24 Share January 24 (edited) LOL, love the Lisa, Ann, or Walter category. The writers brought it for this game. But for Pete’s sake, people! Your charity is getting money anyway - bet bigger on those daily doubles! Edited January 24 by SoMuchTV 4 1 Link to comment

I was thinking that too, but, actually, in this match, it was more about winning against your opponents because the prizes were (I think) $1 mil, $250K, and $100K respectively for their charities, whereas in the other Celebrity Jeopardy! matches, (I think?) they were a minimum of $50K, so betting big could potentially up that amount a lot. I wasn't too excited about Katie's charity last time, but when she explained how it was a very small charity and that $1 mil would be a game changer, I appreciated the impact it would make. I'm guessing any of those amounts will have a greater impact on a small charity. Lisa Ann won my heart. She doesn't seem to have any comedy specials to stream (yet) but she's on Jimmy Kimmel tonight, which will be available to stream on Hulu tomorrow, or probably on YouTube for a while. 4 Link to comment
Phishbulb January 24 Share January 24 They sort of gave away that Lisa Ann was going to win, considering she was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live that night (an ad for which ran DURING the show) 😄 2 Link to comment

Red Bridey January 24 Share January 24 I was watching the late shows this morning and saw LAW was going to be on Jimmy so I stopped and watched the game instead. Was so surprised when Mo (who I frankly thought was going to run away with it) stumbled at FJ after pulling ahead at the end of TJ. What a great game this was. All three were playing to WIN and that makes me so happy! Congrats, LAW! Great effort, Mo and Katie! 3 Link to comment
proserpina65 January 24 Share January 24 When I saw the FJ question, I thought "Damn, this is going to be the easiest FJ ever", so color me surprised that only Lisa Ann Walter got it right. Good for her, that was a hell of a comeback. 6 Link to comment

I didn’t watch CJ live, but if I would have seen that at the bottom of the screen, I would have thought it was just a cross promotion for Abbott… 1 Link to comment

kathyk2 January 24 Share January 24 Lisa seemed shocked that she was the only one who knew Final Jeopardy. I didn't think it was that easy I was sure Mo was going to win since he was so dominant in his other games. 2 Link to comment
Browncoat January 25 Share January 25 What a great game! I loved all the category names. So creative and witty. I was surprised that only one of them got FJ, though. Seemed obvious to me -- the biggest cliche in murder mystery history. I did wish Mo and Katie would stop swaying so much. 3 1 Link to comment
AnnMarie17 January 25 Share January 25 I thoroughly enjoyed this tournament and, especially, this episode. I was a little miffed at the LAW promo for Kimmel, and SUPER miffed when the news broke in (though pleasantly surprised that we didn't miss any content), but the competitiveness of this trio was top notch. And FUN! The hour flew by and I enjoyed it so much. Looking forward to next year! PS...LAW's genuine surprise and emotion at winning brought out some tears in me. Crying at Jeopardy is something I didn't expect. 😄 4 1 2 Link to comment

The "she's the CJ! winner" would never had occurred to me! 6 1 Link to comment

Good for her, that was a hell of a comeback. When I saw the clue it was obvious to me but I wasn't sure whether it was something that would be familiar to younger people. I can't think of the last time I heard it mentioned. I was afraid that Mo was going to be too timid to take advantage of that last DD so I had to laugh when he bravely steeled himself and risked it all. Katie was a very good player could also easily have won if FJ had played to her strengths. Good for Lisa Ann Walter for getting FJ and coming out on top. I liked them all and it was exciting to see the upset. 5 Link to comment
