I hope this means Bowie is finally playing her own game and this is for them gaslighting her a couple of weeks ago and not just doing someone else’s bidding.

It has to be, because everyone has been telling her other nominations than this. :) Have they said whether she said something badass about their big girl pants?

Don’t think she was ugly or make it personal in her speech besides that it’s best for her game. In fact she’s expressed feeling bad about it but she’s always seemed to be a kind person in the game who doesn’t want to antagonize anyone. She’s even said she didn’t want to win HoH so maybe we have to thank F for the more egregious math just to see Bowie make a play. Cory would have gotten the math right if he hadn’t thrown HoH.

She could have a backdoor in mind, but I don’t think so. Bowie genuinely seems like she’s here for the experience, to have a good time, and not to make waves. I think she chose Felicia and Cirie because she bonded with them early on, and both of them let her down. Nothing strategical, just personal disappointment.

Still, I can’t help but notice that my dream of a weekly Felicia nom is coming true. Messy Felicia, long may she reign.

Do we know why Felicia is bald? Is it a medical thing or just a style choice?

I believe I read she has said she has alopecia, but I didn’t hear it directly, so cannot confirm.

Is it even OK to ask that?

I don’t know if it’s politically ok to ask, but your question made me curious so I looked. Here is the response from Felicia’s own Facebook page. (And she doesn’t seem to have a problem with the question.)

Quote

Hello Facebook.. I am posting this speaking as a woman with alopecia. I started loosing my hair in my late 40’s. I went to the Dr, saw specialists, and gave consideration to alternatives to not revealing my diagnosis. I started “swooping my hair trying to mask the balding area which for me is in the front crownal area. I wore a wig (1) time and took it off before the night was over. It kept turning, it itched, and I sweat in my head..I thought about hair implant until they told me they take hair from other places on my head and with a needle, they implant it into the bald areas and I would be wide awake… Nope, not that serious…FOR ME… And then finally I said… it’s just hair… I’m not dying, it doesn’t stop me from doing ANYTHING, it’s all about being comfortable with me.. I waited a couple years longer than I probably should have because I wanted Dwayne and Ja’ir to get comfortable with the idea. I was already there.,One day I went to the barber and said take it all off.. He asked me was I sure and I said YES… it’s time cause I look more ridiculous trying to hide it. I put on earrings and lipstick and go about my day. It’s all about how you see yourself. I realized I am not defined by my hair. I am empowered without it… I don’t need to be defended or protected because I’m bald. I don’t see myself as having a disease, just a circumstance that I had to get accustomed to. My smile didn’t change cause I lost my hair. My abilities didn’t deminish, I save time and money.. I am still me.. I am bald and proud of it.. If this is all I have been burdened with , Thank You God!

Now Cam is gone and Matt is talking with Bowie, saying everyone wants Cam gone.  He's going on and on about who will take out who.  Matt said Cory and America will take out Cirie and Felicia (meaning Bowie doesn't have to bother with that.)  Bowie responded that they'd probably take out you two (Matt and Jag) before Cirie and Felicia.  Glad to see she can push back.  Go Bowie.  Matt said a lot of people will be pushing Cam to you because everyone wants him out.  Bowie said a lot of people have been pushing Cory.

Now it's Blue, Felicia, and Cirie talking about how it's been 67 days in the BB house.  Cirie says, "What in the world was I thinking?"  When asked if she'd reappear on BB, Cirie says, "I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. . . "  Yeah, she's fed up.

During Cam's conversation with Bowie, he talked about being a team with Jag, Matt, and Bowie.  Cameron pushed for a Cory backdoor.  When Bowie asked who should go up if Cameron won the veto and took down someone, he immediately said Blue.

Now, I'm watching Matt and Bowie.  He's been saying that Cameron has been badmouthing Jag to Blue.  (Matt said he heard this from Blue.)  Matt went onto say that if Cameron played and won the veto he would argue against putting Blue up.

I can't tell if Bowie realizes that the stories conflict and she's just not saying anything.  Or whether she believes one of them over the other.

Matt and Bowie are in the HoH room, talking about Cam. They both seem a bit mistrustful. “I wish he would say something about me, because that would make it easier,” Bowie says. They both miss Red; they liked him better. Sounds like Bowie is considering a Cam BD if Matt wins veto. Is a Bowie HoH what we needed all along?

These idiots are all pushing Bowie to do something when veto picks/noms haven’t happened! I want her inner lawyer to come out & take all this info in, digest it & figure out her best path forward. I truly don’t care what path she wants to take, but I want it to be what she decides, not these unserious people not in charge trying to get her to do what they are unwilling to.

why in the world do I always end up rooting for underdogs unlikely to win. Sigh.

FBJ? No, F’m BJ!

Cirie and Fefe officially nominated.

What a waste of a nomination.  Bowie Jane has no desire to win.  Period.

If that is her reason she is just a silly prisoner of her own emotions which makes her a terrible player.  A waste of a space on this show.

She could have made deals with them and built a third alliance or moved up in another alliance.  She could take out the power couple and build a resume.  But in the end she was just a timid little cypher in the game.

Cory and America enter HoH. A few minutes later, Jag comes to the door. Everyone hides. It doesn’t take long for him to find them, with all the giggling.

Bowie admits to having three Red Bulls. It’s helping her think.

Cory and America leave so Cam won’t find them there and get suspicious. After, Jag, Matt and Bowie declare their loyalty as a threesome. Jag wants a name. He will sink with this 3-pronged ship.

Lots of talk about integrity and loyalty. Jag would rather sit in the jury house with his integrity intact than sell out either Matt or Bowie. They all agree that it doesn’t matter who goes to the end, as long as it’s two of them.

Feeds switch to Cory playing bumper pool while America watches. Then back to HoH room where Bowie is talking to Blue as Matt mills around. Jag is gone. They talk about jury comp, which starts at 7:30am? Blue asks about OTEV. She doesn’t know who that is.

Matt is listening to Bowie’s music. I can hear it through the headphones: “Don’t Dream it’s Over” by Crowded House. Bowie says it’s big in Australia. (30 years ago?)

I swear Jag has made more freaking alliances than Cory at this point.

Not much conversation in HoH room since Blue arrived, so I switch to Comics room where Jag is talking to Cirie. They are discussing possible veto comp questions. Felicia enters, then Matt. Guess he was as bored with Blue as I was. They all continue to study.

Back to HoH room, where Cam is studying with Blue. I don’t know where Bowie is. But since I don’t have a test tomorrow, I’m heading to Netflix to watch some Suits. (I swear, I started watching before it became a national obsession. I am not a cliche.)

Um, Bowie already was in an alliance with Cirie and Felicia - Bye Bye Bitches, remember? - that is, until Cirie and Felicia shanked Bowie and left her out to dry on the Red eviction vote.  This is simply Cirie and Felicia reaping what they sowed, and Bowie’s the reaper.

I think Bowie might actually be evicted rather than break her allegiance to people she likes. Jag, maybe, because he does seem to have a sense of personal loyalty. Matt? No way. He's playing this through to the end, with or without his allies.

The way people are handling Bowie's HOH is very telling. Multiple people obviously assumed they'd be able to use her as a puppet to get the outcome they wanted, and she's standing pretty firm that she isn't going to fight other people's battles. The other players might be at a disadvantage not realizing she's actually ten years older than she says she is and an attorney. Re-noming Cameron if he doesn't win would be the best thing for almost everyone's game, except maybe Bowie's. And I think she realizes that, but also he is just such a crazy and unsettling person that I think even she is tired of listening to him. It's really something to see how any one of his allies not named Red or Jared, upon being subjected to repeated conversations with him and his intensity, start to think maybe they don't want him as an ally after all.

The fact that they're talking about this before the veto is played, though, seems very risky.

Yesterday Cameron seemingly decided he had to prepare America for Cory being evicted so that when it happens she will want to work with Cameron. His strategy for this was to scold her for getting into a duo with Cory, basically say it's her fault if Cory gets evicted, mock Cory's anxiety behaviors, and try to touch her feet multiple times. America was clearly infuriated and was fantasizing last night about calling Cameron out if he doesn't win veto. Cory and America also purposely started making out when they heard him approaching, just to make him angry.

Yeah, Cirie was looking forward to a long mother-son bonding experience ending with baby boy walking away with the prize money. Now she realizes she's not going to win but she'll be stuck in the jury house without him.

Like I said above, that alliance was a zillion years ago.  A million other alliances have risen and fallen during that time.

And Felcia was right then it seems to tell her to put her big girl pants on because Bowie didn't have them on then or now.  Then she should have probed and used her emission to guilt them out a little and worm back into that alliance.

And now?  This was the time to get over silly crap like that old argument.  Again, tons of outbursts ever season so just freaking move on, re-patch and form alliances and PLAY THE DAMN GAME.  Don't sit around stewing in your little girl pants with your little girl emotions.

Taking down Cirie at this point  isn't removing any threat to you and would help you if you are on teams Matt, Jag and/or Cam as Cirie wants Cory and America up.  Not you, you irrational, emotional, illogical player.  Taking out Cirie as a big move was dead for some time now.  Bowie is so living in the past and not keeping up.

And no, all of the others she wanted to maybe work with wanted to target anybody BUT Cirie and Felicia this week.  One side wanted Cory & America up.  The other wanted Cam & Blue.  Nobody but Bowie wanted Felcia and Cirie up.  So she actually has show each of the current alliances she can't be trusted to be part of their team.

God will anybody but Cam actually PLAY this damn game this season and make some REAL moves?  I'm really really hoping at this point that Cam wins it all. He is the only deserving player in the whole stupid, timid, scared little wabbits house.  What a boring season other than Cam game play wise.

Sorry for the rant above but I swear to God whoever the final two are their speeches to the jury are going to be "Vote for me.  I did nothing in the game."  "No, vote for me, I did less than nothing in the game."

Then Bowie lets these two sides get each other out. Why does she have to pick a side and reveal her game?

I was paying attention to her responses yesterday when Cameron and then Matt/Jag were trying to manipulate her choice.  Bowie stood up for herself, probably more so with Cameron, and said she was not ready to go home and she had no interest in making a "Big Move."  She doesn't expect to win -- maybe she was lying, maybe underestimating herself, maybe being realistic -- but she seems clear on what she wants to do this week.  But I'm not sure what she'll do if someone wins the veto.

I go back and forth about Bowie.  I can't decide if she is easily intimidated or if she is a 45/46 YO attorney who is just sitting there holding her tongue while these guys mansplain her to death while eating her HOH snacks.  She seems to be a genuinely nice person who wants to be friends with the other houseguests.   And that is why I've been so angry on her behalf when Felicia, Izzy, and to a lesser extent Cirie, have talked about her behind her back and then tried to blame her when they kept her in the dark.

I think it's the latter, because she HAS called out BS over her time in the house, she just mostly doesn't care. And people have generally taken her laissez faire approach well, it was only Cirie, Felicia and Izzy ever really did anything to fuck her over in the game so far (when they intentionally blindsided her because they obviously felt she was too close to Cam, who was their target). So of all of the contestants in the house, the ones she knows she absolutely CAN'T trust are Cirie and Felicia, so getting rid of them makes perfect sense, especially when it eliminates the list of goats to bring to the end, as well, which is obviously a spot she is looking to make hers.

America, Matt, and Jag were drawn to play for the veto, and I'm pretty sure they've all suggested that they'll use it.  Unless Bowie wins, she'll probably have to pick a side and this week will get very interesting.

(ETA: To add to the "fun" -- all three backdoor targets aren't playing.)

Tonga is in comic room talking with Cirie. They were reviewing quiz questions. Jag walks in. Tong says she's been picked for five veto comps, but actually it was 4 and she was on the block for the other.

I don't know if they've done the veto picks yet. If so, I believe Tonga is one and Cameron is another. Jag is telling Tonga she has to beat Cam.

In the meantime Felicia and Cirie are in HOH, Felicua waiting to sway Bowie with her charm and persuasiveness. Veto picks HAVE not taken place yet. They are talking about who to pick and scheming for the following weeks. At least Felicia is scheming. Cirie is saying "Uh huh, uh huh" over and over again.

Now it's all Cameron and Jag. He's saying Bowie is keeping "them" safe. By process of elimination that must be Cory and Tonga. They are in comic room. Cam says, "Someone's out there!" Silence.

The feeds are actually pretty fun right now.

Cameron walked into a room where Jag/America were talking and America ran away so fast lol. Then Cameron basically said to Jag’s face that he thinks him or Matt told America that he wants Cory BDed. Interesting choice lol.

During the America/Jag talk, Jag told America that him and Matt will throw veto to her. Like, grow a pair and make a move yourself lol.

In the bathroom Matt and Tonga are talking about using POV and how to talk to Bowie about it. TV day, so Tonga is getting ready. Matt is going to have his hair braided. Bowie's in the diary room, but now she's coming back. Felicia and Cirie are watching the HOH monitors, Felicia helping herself to snacks. Actually she's eating crunchy cereal. They are talking about alliances. Bowie says it's a good time to make a move and make the different groups go after each other.

Bowie said she had three Ripples to eat yesterday. Felicia says she does a mental block to stop thinking about home. Bowie said she'd like it if they could all play with their room from home. Cameron told Felicia that -- I can't keep this straight -- but something like Bowie will pick Cam for veto comp. And Bowie said it's a lie.

Felicia thinks Blue is with Cameron, maybe Jag, too. Blue and Cameron want Cory gone. Matt wants Cameron gone but she's not sure about Jag.

If it's OTEV, I don't think Cirie or Felicia would win. Felicia tells Bowie that she'll make a big move this week. Bowie says "Vomit, vomit, vomit." She needs the vomit emoji.

Colonoscopy!

Back to Jag and Cameron. Cameron asks Jag if Tonga is going to backdoor him. Jag says he doesn't know. Cam says he'll support using the veto as long as he's not the target.

Cameron assures Jag that he is with him and Matt.

Cam needs a haircut.

I said before I didn't think this was necessarily the time to get rid of Cam if I'm Jag/Matt, but fuck, if he can't even play veto, then this HAS to be the time to get rid of him, no?

Note that I'm still not knocking them if they DON'T get rid of him this week, but boy, it really is set up perfectly, right?

I didn’t think Bowie would do it because honestly she’s the one person who maybe doesn’t need to but by how she’s talking today I think she actually will go through with it.

But still, I think the best way to make it happen is America, Felicia, or Cirie winning. Bowie, Jag, and Matt may chicken out if they have to make the move themselves so aggressively. Luckily, Matt and Jag will almost certainly throw it. Jag already told America he and Matt will throw to her.

I'm really torn on whether getting rid of Cam hurts Bowie or not. The only real enemies she has in the house are Cirie and Felicia, and, well, A. They ain't winning HoHs, but B. If they DO, are they going to "waste" their HoH on Bowie? I tend to doubt it.

Jag finally making himself useful by telling Bowie all the ways Cam hasn’t been acting in her best interests. So now she feels justified in backdooring him if it gets to that point. Praise the lawd!
