GREAT reunion.

One by one, I'm giving up on the various Ho'Wives franchises.  The catfights don't particularly entertain me.  I'm there for the clothes, the decor, the food porn, and the occasional candid glimpse into lifestyles very different from my own.

The two franchises I'm down to are Potomac and Miami.  Potomac interests me because it's one of the very few shows on American TV that deals candidly with race.  (Chris Rock's salvo in his recent Netflix special—You know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people—was foreshadowed by Candiace in her very first season.)

And Miami is king when it comes to clothes, decor, and food porn.

I liked the narcissism question Andy posed.  It divides the ladies up almost into the teams they divide themselves up into.  Alexia, Marisol, Adriana & possibly Guerdy are the narcissists; Nicole, Julia, Lisa, and possibly Larsa are the non-narcissists.

Other thoughts:  I had a hard time looking at Alexia's Barbie doll face on top of her crepey neck.  Girlfriend, if you really want to pretend to be a blow-up doll, you really need to visit a plastic surgeon—but not Lenny!—and do something about that throat and those upper arms.

Also, Nicole has at least 50 IQ points on those other Miami Ho'Wives.

Does Alexia not believe that Nicole is an anesthesiologist? As soon as I heard that her first episode I said “so she’s good on her own and incredibly intelligent”. The schooling isn’t easy and they’re paid well. She might not make as much as Anthony but she brings home more than Alexia ever did.

I was expecting to enjoy this, but I honestly have such a hard time watching Alexia now, I didn't. I'm not usually one to hope Bravo will fire a Housewife after a bad season--I know these shows need villains, and sometimes they bounce back--but I really have a hard time with her. What she said to Lisa at the end was so awful. And she kept interrupting all the other women, but nobody could say anything during her precious package!

Alexia is too too much. I really don't need to hear her shouting over everyone to "defend" herself. While I'm all for a healthy self esteem, she truly believes she's everything and that makes her unbearable. She's become extremely unlikable and her only saving grace is how great of a mother she is to Frankie.  I won't even add Peter to that because he's done some f'ed things that she has condoned. 

Larsa claiming her butt is natural is ridiculous.  She must really think everyone is stupid. Yeah... you gained weight and it only went there to your ass.  Okay Jan...

As usual the HW's have their own interpretation of fashion, my favorite was Marisol, (her dress reminded me of the gown with a matching coat) my mother wore to my brother's Bar Mitzvah in 1968, white crepe with beading), very tasteful, no boobs or lady bits in danger of showing if one takes a deep breath or moves an inch on the sofa.

The chain dress weighs 25 pounds? She has to sit in it for a very long time, I cannot imagine it would be comfortable in the least.

I could say the dresses were predictable in the world of HW Reunion dresses, why can't they wear dresses that look the least bit comfortable or look good when the wearer is sitting down.

Nicole cleared. She shut up Alexia saying she spends Anthony's money like it's her own and also shut up Marisol saying she'll make her a co signer on her black card. I hate saying they're jealous but it reeks of jealousy to me. Nicole and Guerdy are successful in their own rights without their husbands and Marysol and Alexia just can't stand that. And rich of Marysol to say Nicole drinks the most. Nicole the doctor drinks more than Marysol, the woman who loves screaming about cockies.

I can’t deal with Alexa and her thinking. Really she’s confident? Confident enough to have married a drug dealer without having any knowledge? Confident enough to have married a gay man without any knowledge? Raising a pretty troubled son without any knowledge? 
interestingly, I just fought a few minutes of Alexa’s first season. She was trying to get her son into modeling. She was making excuses for his lack of direction by saying she had allowed him to play “American football “ in school ( middle school?) at which time he hurt his shoulder and was never the same. So her eldest son hasn’t been “the same” since hurting his shoulder? She really is clueless,isn’t she?.

Some of these Miami ladies make the BH ones look like geniuses. There are some extremely abusive fathers. You don't let everything slide because it's family, and that goes for mothers, siblings, everyone.

Exactly. I'm not one to say anytime a woman dislikes another woman, it must be jealousy. I think the average woman doesn't care if another woman is more popular or has more money or whatever. But let's be honest, there is a lot of jealousy among the Housewives specifically.

Also, Alexia is all smug about her relationship with Todd and poor, single Adriana must be jealous, but much of Alexia's personal life has been a mess. She talks like she's been happily married to Todd for decades. Adriana is a beautiful woman, and she doesn't need to pay anyone to be her date or whatever they implied. 

Regarding Lara's ass, I do have a slight build that carries a lot of any extra lbs in the booty, but come on! She went from nothing to Kim K.

See, I really think Alexia is so beautiful on the outside, and that her insides do not match up. Her relationship with Frankie is very sweet, but I don't enjoy most of her scenes otherwise. Such an aggressive and hypocritical woman.

I could not ingest as much booze as Marysol does, I do not think Nicole could or would drink a lot because she has to be firing on all cylinders for her job, it is a life and death situation, you do not want to be hungover putting someone under and besides, you need a lot of energy to sleep with everyone in the hospital!

Alexia is arrogant because she is back on tv with the Miami HWs, and Ultimate Girls Trip (so, she is "famous"), and she married a relatively well off guy who is close to her age. 

I believe many people go to Kim Kardashian's plastic surgeons, that's why they end up looking very similar. Larsa used to be a close friend of Kim's.
