While I understand that Victoria what Victoria did to Yoann was out of line, is the Chloe Colette owner going to address Yoann's work issues? He was showing up late and didn't seem to know what was going on at all.

This bugged me so damn much! Yoann's work ethic and performance is such a large issue that they discuss it at pretty much every meeting AND several of them have been regularly doing his job duties to pick up the slack. Yet, his supervisor/the company owner has yet to have a conversation with him about it.  And Victoria should have never been made to feel that she had to deal with it because she recommended him for the job. Just bad management all around!

I actually loved the secret Santa and Kaseys gift to Anya was so perfect! I half feel bad for Kasey and am frustrated with her at the same time. She has to feel overwhelmed but you can’t just not do anything!

I really enjoy this show!!

I love that these girls seem to actually be friends. There’s no fighting or back stabbing like in the other Bravo shows like the Real Housewives. The party they had for Anya was so nice and Margaux’s family chateau looked awesome.
I hope Kacey can get her Visa problems worked out and can come back to Paris.

It’s so interesting that this is a rare occasion where they actually go to a cast member’s *own* magnificent retreat rather than a rental property. Margaux’s dad sure seems to have done well for himself with his original biz and then his retirement into art dabbling… We should all profit so much from our fun little interests 😁

Margaux needs to take more notes from her conversations with him, to help with her artist’s representation/fashion design/whatever next week brings.

I do, too. These girls are actually way more endearing than I thought they'd be. I was expecting a full-on hate watch, but for the most part I like them and want them to succeed. I did find Kacey's visa issue frustrating, though. You've landed a spot on a TV show that's filming in Paris and you don't have your visa figured out? But I guess it added a dash of cold reality to this reality TV show. I hope she figured it out.

That casino scene was kind of funny, with them all dressed up for... that. It seems like this was filmed in December or January, at the height of the omicron wave, so I guess there were only so many places they could film.

I, too, am warming up to this show. Did not miss Kacey At All. I find her to be extremely annoying and immature. Plus, what I saw of her so-called teaching was not impressive in the slightest way. Anya is my favorite. They do seem to be bonding well as a group although from what I understand, only two actually knew each other from the start. It's nice to see their efforts to help each other solve problems, wasted as that may be on Kacey.

I loved Anya talking to her imaginary friends while waving around a champagne flute!

Anya is the kind of person I usually can't stand and yet, I love her!  I would take a museum tour with her any day.

Also, when I get an estate in France, in my next life, I want a charming caretaker/chef to run the place for me.

I laughed at Margaux recounting the story of how she broke her wrist. She tripped on her Ugg 😆

Oh Kacey. Was she really filming herself at the airport saying she's not sure if she's on time and she's not sure where she's going? This girl.

Margaux's family home was beautiful. I would happily stay there with Richard making me meals.

I loved Adja using her gas to finagle herself into getting her own room.

Sorry I didn’t get the quote spacing properly, but don’t laugh. That has happened to me a few times and I’m

at that age when breaking a hip or femur is definitely a risk that I have to consider.

I generally wouldn't laugh at anyone's misfortune, especially as a very clumsy person myself, but there's just something about Margaux recanting the story of tripping on her Ugg and breaking her wrist for the umpteenth time in that deadpan Margaux voice. Someone give this fragile 85 year old woman trapped in a bangin 25 year old's body a calcium supplement and some Boniva stat!

Jenny confuses me. She wanted to launch a line of clothing which she named Chloe Colette. But she hired Victoria to design it. Designing is the FUN part of launching a line of clothing!

The website needs a lot of work. It features (often, more than two) photos of the same garment with different prices. It tells you that you can order the garment in different colors, but only shows it in one color. It lists fabric compositions/fiber contents with percentages that don’t add up to 100%. There’s a back-interest detail dress that a model with long hair, that she wears down, covering the back-interest detail, struts in a video.

Based on the garment descriptions, I am guessing that Jenny started the company because she was frustrated that there were not a lot of lines that offered clothing for very tall women. So I guess that explains why she had to hire a designer.

It referenced “luxurious fabrics” but I only saw synthetics.

But it’s still better than Sonja Morgan’s line!

Just when I didn’t think I could love Anya any more, she declares shopping retail a shanda and brings up Filene’s Basement. Are we sure she isn’t 80 years old?

She's an endearing old soul, isn't she. I adore people who commit to their affectations and quirks, but keep a sense of humor and perspective about themselves.

I really enjoy this show. It's eye/ear candy and fantasy for us older Francophiles, and they've done a good job keeping my interest in the cast--both main and secondary. I want to know more about them all, except for Kacey, who I found exhausting and creepy, with her "tee-hee aren't I cute and feckless" mannerisms through which leaked hints of an almost sociopathic nastiness.

Margaux crying and acting like there's a gun to her head forcing her to live in the apartment that her father pays for and accept the money and gifts that he bestows. If his controlling nature is that bad, uh... move out, get a job and support yourself. Poor Little Rich Girl doesn't really fly in 2022 (or ever, really).

Kacey is another privileged twit who spends most of her time being oblivious to reality. She's going to struggle through life without people like Anya there to do things for her.

Adja originally struck me as kind of shallow and obsessed with sex, but she has shown herself to be quite dependable as a friend you can really count on. She seems to genuinely care about her friends.

Totally agree! And I'm praying for Anya that her event will be a grand success.

Not missing Kasey or whatever her name is who had to go home AT ALL.

Was Margaux waiting for her glam appointment or did she seriously wear joggers to Victoria's event? The harsh pink eyeshadow she wears is not flattering.

Victoria was hella rude to her Mom. I'm far from a fashion expert but was not too impressed with the Chloe Colette designs.  The clothing on their site looks a lot better, maybe it was just all the white that turned me off?  I was impressed with Victoria as a seamstress.

So hoping Anya's event will be a success.  Admittedly, when she describes it, I've little idea what she's babbling on about but she's damn infectious, I can't help but root for her.

I don’t think Adja and Emily were actually laughing at Victoria behind her back, were they? They were laughing at Adja misunderstanding “pain” and the French word for bread, no?

I felt the same way, they were having a silly and fun conversation and not at all talking bad or nasty things about her behind her back. Victoria obviously has some insecurities. I wonder if she said they were to Margaux and that was another reason why they stayed longer?

See this is what I thought too and came here to make sure I wasn't nuts. I hope there is a chance for the appropriate party to have figurative egg on their face because if Victoria really took that weak ass tea back to Margaux and made it seem as if they were betrayed, that was terrible.

I’m so hoping Anya’s event goes well!  I too don’t really understand it, but her knowledge of the art world is so cool and her ability to network/sell is so inspiring.

These entrepreneurial women make me nervous but also full of admiration for them.  I am so not that person — I need security!

That said, what is Margaux up to?  Selling slip dresses?  More than a little nervous and skeptical on that one.  And I like her too.

I’m enjoying this series.  I hope they don’t go too far into the female cat-fight trope, because I like their friendships.  And the scenery in France!

I think I am going to have to once again praise Ben and Ron for realizing this Maison Firestone is just a ruse. Anya is actually putting together a reel to audition for stand-up in the Catskills.

ETA: I am kidding. I like Anya a lot.

Oh, @heatherchandler. I just saw the foie gras scene. Terrible.

People, there are so many other delicious foods to eat.

But there is something even more savage than foie gras.

Warning: it is extremely bad

Ortolan https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/05/04/real-story-about-the-illegal-ortolan-delicacy-eaten-on-billions.html

ETA: I mean foie gras SCENES, plural. I finished watching the entire episode. Come on, people. We have vegan jewelry designers in the Venn diagram of this network/circle of friends. How are they not rethinking their food sources?

Dear lord, this ‘collection’ is the saddest, first-person-aufed-on-project-runway horribleness that I’ve ever seen… One thing that I really enjoyed about this show compared to all the RHs out there was how organic it seemed, with them relying on the super exciting location and all the adventures they could have for content - well, that seems to have ended. From the Margaux and Victoria v Anya, Adja, and Emily ‘overheard’ ‘mockery’ ‘misunderstanding’ and split to the really bad clothing that somehow needed to be fully designed and sewn in a New York minute, down to the wire… oy. The producer fingerprints all over this are making it so much worse. Sadface
