Looks like K/A did it again. She was mad at him because he was distancing himself from her for the game but he apologized and had makeup sex now she’s in a good mood but he’s not because TMI he lasted 10s.

I wonder if what they’re building outside is where the outside half gets to sleep next week.

The DR actually told Monte no more workout training. They don’t want to deal with the entire cast blowing out their backs.

The first week when everyone was gathering in outrage to shit on Taylor, Michael ran in to offer some similar complaint then later pulled Brittany aside to say that he was only doing that to bond because that's how people connect, by complaining about other people. He felt a little bad, but, hey, it's a game and he's an outsider.

But, generally, that's Michael's only way to connect with people, to be shitty about someone else. He had done it quite a bit with Jasmine which is why she had decided he was okay to keep around. It's why he's so bonded to Kyle and Brittany now, because they can be shitty about those other people together. He ignores actual REAL behavior, like Kyle completely selling them out, because how else will he build this team when the others don't bitch with him in this way.

And for Kyle, it's clear he always sees himself as a victim, so he will always find reasons to blame/hate others when he needs to. Like Michael, people are either together against a common enemy or they are the other side. I just think it's easier for him to find enemies in others with more melanin.

Michael is right that uniting against a common enemy is a way to build binds...studies have shown that to be true. But it's not the only way and it's shitty to decide to use as your venomous target a woman who actually likes and trusts you. Add in the racial undertones and it's gross.

What I meant is that someone so chill who doesn't really get involved in taking sides and randomly says outrageous things would be accused of playing the middle and not really being in the game. Having the right equipment to just slot into the Pound and the right skin color to be seen as quirky vs. threatening helps a lot when you are sliding by in the game.

I don’t think Brittany has any relationships other than with Michael. She should have a strong connection with Taylor given their similar history in the house, but because Brittany seems unwilling to build a relationship that doesn’t involve Michael, it’s gone nowhere. Taylor doesn’t want to be the side piece in a throuple.

While Brittany clearly has no interest in playing an individual game, it’s surprising that Superfan Michael doesn’t see the downside of being part of such a visible, unbreakable duo. Or maybe he does, and that’s why he was so eager to team up with Kyle and Alyssa— they’re the only ones in a similar situation. Except they’re not, because Kyle is not that committed to Alyssa. 

Michael has really backed himself into a corner with Brittany. I think his best move would be to separate himself, but that’s not going to happen, and it’s probably too late, anyway.

Yeah, can you imagine a woman playing Dan's game in BB10 or Will's in BB2? Im-possible. I think Jun played one of the best BB games ever, and she specifically knew she COULDN'T play the game like Will or Dan, so she had to rope in Allison, because if TWO women played that type of game, well, SOMEone has to win the money, ya know?

Hmm not sure I agree. On Survivor many of the most iconic players have been ruthless women. Sandra, Parvati, Sarah, Cirie, Tina.

So, Turner threw up a stop sign at Kyle about stepping outside the LO. My questions are...

1) Does Turner really think Kyle is going to let Alyssa go, especially after this week?

2) Does Turner really want to cut Taylor at 7?

3) How does Turner feel about Brittany and Michael, really? Because he was in the room when they were pushing for Alyssa to go up and he saw them get real quiet when Kyle asked about it. He also seems to have no connection with them, so does he really want to go up against Michael?

Brittany and Kyle seem determined not to let Turner spend any alone time with Taylor and Joseph, so I'm not sure what Turner will do. I thought Indy shadowing Joseph was bad! but they're worse.

In the HoH room, they are guessing the next twist. Double eviction? Triple eviction? Audience vote? Jury Battle Back? Nobody’s even close.

They wonder if the audience is getting sick of them. Michael and Taylor correctly guess that many people want to see a shakeup, just to keep things interesting.

They've decided to let Indy know she’s leaving, but slowly. Information trickle. Kyle thinks she’ll take it well. I disagree.

Meanwhile, Terrance is packing in a dark room. Why start so early? Also, calm down and get some sleep. You’re fine.

Production is making Joseph speak in a British accent (they yelled at him when he slipped) and he’s terrible at it. Is this a punishment for Joseph, or for us? And what is up with his and Taylor’s costumes? It’s like he is Sid Vicious, and Taylor is Nancy Spungen. That blond frizzy wig is atrocious.

Fresh from laughing at the spectacle of Kyle taking a shower (it’s like he’s in a different world, moves like he’s drugged, and hears absolutely nothing of the mockery aimed at him), Monte and Turner struggle to come up with the name of a certain 1970’s band. Turner is pretty sure it’s Clarence Cleanwater Revival.

Back in the early 2000s, it was really popular for women to wear velour tracksuits with JUICY written across the ass, usually paired with crunchy curls and hoop earrings. They were horribly overpriced and trashy but it was the thing at the time. They made a brief comeback recently because everything from my teens and super early twenties is coming back and now I know how my mom felt when bell bottoms came back when I was a teenager.

That was their goal. Their punishment is called Skid and Fancy after Sid and Nancy just like Terrance’s is Ink 182 after Blink 182. Idk what Indy’s is called.

Yea, Turner is a hard one to read. He is essentially just coasting. Personally, I think he'll fall more in line with Kyle's silent majority alliance unfortunately because he's close to Kyle and Alyssa. I think ultimately though he would like The Pound to prosper but Kyle doesn't want to actually work with Monte/Joe.

Good morning! It's fun to read about the ever-changing swirl of Big Brother this season, things are always getting mixed up and tumbled around in those relationships. So I turn on the feeds, select Camera 1 and then, WHO IS THAT??? Closeup of some guy I've never seen before, resembles Joseph more than anyone else. It's the HOH bed, how did the HOH change, oh, there's someone with fluffy blond hair next to him . . . then I remember the costumes! Joseph looks like Bruce Lee in the night vision cam, I'm sure he doesn't in regular lighting. From what I can see of Taylor, she looks like my former best friend from decades ago, same style of hair. Both are rubbing their eyes and moving around. I'm sure it must be uncomfortable as they must be chained together. Bathroom must be embarrassing, while they don't have to watch, they still have to listen (and smell). I wonder how showering works or if they don't bother since this is for 48 hours. I think this is the first time this season the HOH bed's been shared with anyone.

Camera shows the bed at a different angle. Someone's snoring away and I think it's Joseph. Poor Taylor.

Camera 3 shows the women's atomic room. There's Alyssa in the closest bed, then Indy, and I think Michael is the farthest bed, formerly known as Ameerah's bed. Camera 4 shows the room at the opposite angle. Looks like there's stuff getting piled up at the other end of the room.

I'm trying to think who Turner would want to go to the finals with and yeah, it's not exactly clear. He has that final two with Kyle, but I could also see him ditching Kyle (especially if someone else can take the blame) and trying to go to the end with Alyssa. But all of that seems very complicated and messy. If it's him and Kyle, you could argue Kyle has the better resume.

It had a brief renaissance in the past while. Same with extreme low rise jeans although that thankfully seemed to be a blip on the radar - I don't know if they did the whale tail this time around. Honestly, late 90 and early 2000s fashions were fucked up.

Although if you're like me and watch Real Housewives of New Jersey, technically the Juicy Couture look never died, it just went down the shore.

Yeah, but Alyssa isn't supposed to be there in Turner's view of things, so how does that square with, oh, he's closer to Kyle and Alyssa, he will go with them.

I can see Turner staying loyal to the Pound members who don't bring their showmance into the alliance, even if it's not good for his game.

I wouldn't had thought of that, but that's a good comparison.   Turner doesn't go out of his way to be "ha ha" funny (except in the DR mocking Jasmine) to the other houseguests, so that wouldn't have occurred to me.

Personally I always found Enzo tiresome and overrated. One of my favorite memories of his first season is the other guys telling him on Finale Night that he had AFP in the bag, and then BOOM. The person who was actually hilarious without all the effort and sweat won(Britney). That had to sting.

I didn't like Enzo much either. I think Turner has a much nicer, funnier personality. But they both play the same role in a dominant alliance -- they're the chill beta dudes. 

I like Turner a lot though, and will send him some AFP votes. He's hilarious. I also think it's great that he's the youngest member of the house, but he has his own business and seems very mature for his age.

It's a control thing. It doesn't matter if people act sincerely or not as long as you can make them do what you want.
