Aren’t they wearing wigs most of the time? Candiace’s wig was obvious. I could see the lace front. 

Gizelle would look better with darker, maybe caramel-colored hair. So would Robyn and Karen. I agree; the light blonde isn’t very flattering for most of them. 

In any case, I think Gizelle is beautiful, one of the prettiest housewives IMO. I don’t like when they criticize each other’s looks or make comments about their age. I didn’t like it when it was directed at Karen either. I do think she’s had more work than injections though.

Wendy seemed ticked off during the whole reunion. There was negative energy radiating off her. 

As a daughter of an NPD mother, I see a lot of similarities in the dynamic between Candiace and her mom. I feel sorry for Candiace. No way would I let my mother on a show like this. It opens the door for more abuse.

This. The way she started with the hysterical, over the top laughing when Nikki mentioned the booty models was off-putting. 

I laughed at the deadpan way Karen said "Oh Candiace, you and Ashley are going to have sex" during the whole would you sleep with one of the women for $50 billion exchange.

I can definitely see this as a Gizelle/Ashley storyline. I hope Candiace ignores them so that they have to work for their checks.  She's with an established label, so I'm sure they're working  with her regarding her social media presence.

So supposedly the word on the street is that most of what Nicki did was cut out.

Candiace supposedly started crying and ran to the restroom when asked to sing, though she did come back and do what we saw her do.

Nicki also supposedly questioned Mia hard and Wendy cut her off.

I think Bravo needs to make a short video about all the stuff we missed.

Final thoughts:

I was hit or miss with Nicki, and part of that probably has to do with who I like and who I don't like.

• I laughed at Nicki putting Mia on blast about are you really going to say it's not a strip club if it serves steak? (I posted extensively about this, but I've been to the steak serving strip club NUMEROUS times, and it's a strip club.  Strip. Club.)
• Zen Wen - you said you knew that Eddie wasn't following and unfollowing hundreds of booty models.  You also said you don't pay the slightest bit of attention to his insta because you are so not pressed by it.  Maybe I don't have enough degrees to understand how both of these things can be true.
  • I think in addition to the other reasons people have listed for Wendy's insecurities, he also turned his back on his family to be with her.  I think that's a lot of pressure to live up to, to be worth it.  And if he leaves her, I think IN HER HEAD (not in mine), it would prove his family was right and she was never good enough in the first place.
• I was honestly shocked at how hard Nicki seemed to be coming for Candiace's record.  It just really seemed like punching down, and I don't get it.  I have no plans to listen to it, but I went to spotify and downloaded her entire stupid album so she could get that number.  I didn't understand how this worked before, so Nicki being messy got Candy's dumbass at least one more download.  I thought much less of Nicki (not that I have strong thoughts about her, period) for that, and I 100% understand why Chris was upset.  (I don't think he should be getting into twitter wars, but I understand why he was upset.)
• I think Candiace, rightly or wrongly, has a strong sense of what she thinks is right and wrong, and that's why she defended Ashley coming down to start trouble.  She sees Ashley's actions within the bounds of her JOB, and because it's in bounds, Nicki doesn't need to call her out about that.  It's easy for Nicki to just say "stay home."  Some of us have to show up for our paychecks. So even though Candiace is going to see it as part of her own job to tell Ashley to take her breastmilk and go home, she's not going to knock Ashley for showing up to work. (As an aside, I also think that is part of why she was so traumatized over Monique's assault.  She sees it as their JOBS to go crazy with their words, and Monique not only broke the social contract, she likely broke a professional one.)
• I loved everyone saying they would all pile in the bed for the $50 billion.  I would have joined in for $50 million, but maybe I'm just low budget.
• I know this was last episode, and I still don't like G, but dayum...that was a real apology.  "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, but when I watched it back, I clearly did.  I'm sorry for that."  I was as confused as Ashley, lol. 
• I had WAY TOO MUCH in common with this season:
  • I wore an outfit the same as one of Ashley's, down to the white converse
  • I drive a Fiat, though it's not Gucci, and IMO, mine's nicer (mine's SUV with 4 whole ass doors)
  • I went to The Joint a couple of months ago
  • I've been to Mia's strip club a million times
  • I went to Williamsburg a couple of months ago on a girls' trip
    • drove through Surry County
    • took the ferry over from Surry, which is free and there was a DOLPHIN that went along with us and it was magical and now I'm pretty sure I've done more for Surry County tourism than Karen.

FWIW there are two meanings of "downloads" in the business. You can purchase/download and that is equivalent to a sale. In general the record company or whoever owns the record would get 50% of the sales price for the license to the iTunes Store.

There is the Spotify "download" and that is equivalent to an internet radio show. I won't bore anyone with the whole business part of the negotiation but in the end the performer gets a very tiny amount for each download/play on this kind of streaming service. For standard radios there is no royalty at all for the performer record company but only for the publisher of the song. 

The lack of income from Spotify/Pandora and hell even from record "sales" is why most recording artists make their money from touring and merchandising and other ancillary rights.

Yeah, I didn't think she was getting much from my download, since it was included in my Spotify subscription.  I normally never download anything because I have unlimited data, but I did download her album just because I was annoyed at Nicki.  I didn't spend any money, but this is BY FAR the closest I've come to supporting a ho'wife adventure.

Nicki was truly punching down when she went after C’s record. Even Karen was able to be gracious about the damn candles, saying there is room for everyone in the market.

My feeling is that for all of Candiace's flaws, deep down she is also pretty loyal. I think she defended Ashley because, for better or for worse, she understands what the experience of being on the show is like and she didn't like an outsider coming in and making comments. (Sort of like siblings who fight all of the time defending each other against some third party making comments). Quite honestly, I really think that Ashley and Candiace could be a lot of fun together and be pretty formidable if they could get past their issues. Whatever you think of their relationship, Gizelle and Robyn benefit by having a strong friendship.

I agree with whoever said that Wendy came out of this reunion looking the worst.  Yes, Candiace can cut too deep with her comments but IMO, she offsets that with moments of vulnerability and humor.  But Wendy comes off as constantly defensive, can't seem to laugh at herself, threatened by practically all of the other women, and unwilling to show any moments of vulnerability. I know she thinks that she's coming off as tough and above-it-all, but I see the exact opposite.

One cracked note and Candiace is over.  That's what Andy, Nicki and the cast wanted to hear coming out of Candiace's mouth, a cracked note.  That way "Coffee and Love" could be vindicated.

IMO being loyal IS Candiace's biggest flaw, because she gives loyalty to and defends individuals who don't deserve it (Dorothy, Ashley, Monique, Gizelle, Karen etc).

On Ashley's part, I don't know that I could get past someone constantly bringing up how my husband is a creepy cheater, even if deep down I know they are right.

On Candiace's part, I don't know if I could get past someone writing a statement in support of my assaulter and that person used an incident THEY instigated to cast blame on me.

Candiace was actually trying to move past it but Ashley slammed the door shut with the revenge statement.  Thing is, Ashley had to blame Candiace in her statement--there's no way she could've written a statement in support of Monique with no mention of Candiace without incriminating Monique.

They should agree to be cordial within the group and move on.

Mariah Carey has the record for most downloaded song of all time (All I Want for Christmas is You), and she revealed last year that she made somewhere in the low six figures for it, which is actually a very small number in comparison to the number of streams, and her number may have been higher because she also owns publishing.

It was foolish and confusing for her to defend Ashley.

What Nicki said is true, Ashley has had no storylines, ran down to the trip to make trouble. and has used her motherhood as a shield from all comments while she still enjoys stirring the shit.

She should have been thrown off the show when her sexual predator husband started assaulting the crew.

Ashley is not Candiace's friend. She did nothing when Nicki pressured Candiace to sing on the spot. 

Candiace can not call Ashley a bedwarmer and milkmaid than be offended when Nicki calls Ashley out on some of her shit. It makes Candiace look like a phony when she is probably just trying to be nice.

Ashley gets tight anytime Candiace's singing/career is brought up because she tried to make a go of it with "Coffee and Love" and failed.  She performed at VA Pride, she performed on Channel 5 (with her brother rapping in the background) and made a music video for it and nobody cared.  You can see her butt cheeks tightening up every time they compare Candiace's singing to hers.  She was probably hoping Candiace would crack a note so she could be vindicated.

NOBODY is demanding she "bust a note" on command with "Coffee and Love."
