Meh, some kids are picky eaters and that's OK. My son never ate ANYTHING when he was a kid. He's a chef now and eats everything. Sometimes their palates are too sensitive or maybe they can't deal with certain textures. In my experience the important thing was to make sure he had access to decent food and not to make a big deal out of it. As he got older he got more adventurous. She KNOWS the kid doesn't eat eggs. She KNOWS he doesn't put milk on his cereal! Why not tell Juan this and make it easier for him? Not to mention her son, who only wants his breakfast. She is terrible.

My daughter has allergies and she doesn’t eat every food. She eats a lot of the same most of the time, occasionally branching out into other cuisines she is intrigued by. He might have dietary issues like an allergy to milk or nuts or even Celiac. My daughter is repulsed by everything eggs. She also hates peas, most vegetables unless puréed or spiced for a delectable dish, fish (most of the time, but occasionally she has actually loved salmon), and potato chips.

Valentin’s family is hoping that Dr. All Trades will throw a few bucks their way. And Val can send money to them when he gets to the States.

They probably have a slew of cousins and whatnot here already. Every time I have a yard sale, Dominican women are sorting through the clothes and accessories like mad, piling up stuff to send home. Armloads of kids' clothes especially.

I guess now that Pedro is divorced she needs to find another way to harvest the American dollar

Didn't that evil bitch Chantel empty their JOINT bank account? So much for Pedro's ulterior motives. Pedro's well away from them.

Scott, there are these things called phrasebooks. They work EVERYWHERE.

I wasn’t following but it wouldn’t surprise me. Chantel and her family are awful.

She is so gorgeous and accomplished. It feels a little crazy to me that she is on the show. But it makes me want things to work out for her. But I'm skeptical it will.

Are her sisters twinsies?

I still think Alejandro fixing up Scott with Lidia is his way of getting revenge on her.

sorry, not sorry, but I find those two little boys to be very unlikeable.

My dislike of Jordan is growing exponentially

Doesn’t anyone teach kids to say please or thank you anymore?

That doctor has issues.

Right? That's putting it mildly. WHY did she open a luxury car dealership in the Dominican Republic, of all places? How does one establish a business in a country where one doesn't speak the language?

Must be a tax thing, right?

And why so many advanced degrees? Not unheard of; when I worked at Harvard we had students who did a combined program with the law school or the business school or the medical school to get a combined degree. Took an extra year. I knew one woman who did the combined MPP/MD and she was a fabulous person, so smart and super nice. She ran a public health initiative in Boston for a few years after graduation. (Ever see that PBS series, "So You Want to Be a Doctor"? The one that followed several people over a number of years, from medical school onward? Fascinating. She was one of the people on it.) What I don't get about April is why she's not running for office to influence health care policy, or working for the CDC or for a law firm that specializes in health care issues, or a health care administration consulting firm. Why is she opening gyms and hawking cars?

I don't have kids so I don't know whether all kids are as whiny and insufferable as Jessica's kids, but daaaaammn! She's raising a couple of entitled, petulant little jerks. And what was with her not lifting a finger to get her picky-ass son's breakfast? I already feel like Juan is getting treated like he's the help.

Grape Ape and Lidia have only ever talked about sex and sex adjacent things. And even then, it's been through a translation app. What makes either of those two clowns think they have any sort of emotional connection? It'll be interesting to see him meet and have to deal with Nicole, who is the garbage person fruit that didn't fall far from the garbage person tree. Right off the bat, she's asking super inappropriate questions and showing that she has zero decorum or class. Grape Ape might be a hapless horndog, but nobody deserves to be subjected to those two nasty, trashy skanks.

April seems like she's able to learn from books, but has not the faintest clue how to go through life without being a total sucker. She seems to have done a lot of work to change the way she speaks and the way she carries herself. The contrast between the way her sisters speak and carry themselves was pretty jarring. It could be that April is just not a super deep person, but because she's thorough and meticulous, (and riddled with OCD/germaphobia) she's worked on the surface things and honed those things to a tee. The chirpy, sing-songy voice she greets her patients in is not her real voice. I don't know how else to describe her other than... hollow? Like a stage set with a beautiful façade with very little support behind it. She's almost more persona than person.

Jordan, I don't care about your voicemail. Go pop a balloon with your buttcheeks, you walking, talking migraine.

But do they have phrases like "Are you okay with me being a polygamist?" or whatever he asked? 🙂

It occurred to me that maybe it should be okay for kids to not like a food. As an adult, I wouldn't make myself a food I hate.
