I love how at the end of every show, the announcer says “set your dvrs!” as if everyone hasn’t set up a SERIES RECORDING!

Shawn and Stan continue to make me see red. They expect their "girlfriends" to just suck up their BS and get all annoyed when they get caught out, attempting to place the blame elsewhere.

Funny, I don't recall Stan and Lisa being on any sort of "break" and he insists that he can just go right out and start dating someone else or he is "wasting his time" and "where is it written I have to wait any length of time?" He's so skeevy I find it hard to believe she is really into him at all.

Ditto Shawn, who can't open his mouth without lying. I wanted to punch through the TV screen when he got all bossy with Sara and grabbed her suitcase, insisting she not leave or call her mother. Run, Sara!

That therapist needs to have her license revoked. I have never seen a more one sided approach on tv like last night. I was just like this is why people DON’T wanna see them because they fear that they won’t see their side.

I have never for one moment believed that Lisa is into gross old Stan. She's into his money.

Well, we can all take some cold comfort in the likelihood that she isn't a therapist at all, just a friend of one of the PA's who's trying to get her SAG card.

Loved Native John's commentary on the koi pond: 'the cats will love it' 'it's an endless food supply'. (That pond is too shallow for those large fish, though, and even if they miraculously make it through summer, winter in Iowa is way too cold for them to survive). Also, I don't like Krusty's mom, but I'm sorry she's so sick.

Muskrat Stan angrily monologuing about his version of dating ethics was comedy gold. Can Lisa possibly be done with him already? 

WTF is broken in Sara that she can even bear to wake up next to The Beav? Ugh, ugh, ugh. And it looks from the previews like there's another 'revelation' coming. 

I felt some pity for Tia, but in what world do you pick that idiot Nicole as the person you want to have making medical decisions for you? Or, potentially, being your care-taker in case you wind up as an invalid? Also, Nicole's mom's boob-baring outfit for going wedding dress shopping made Nicole look rather demure by comparison.

Speaking of idiots: Daonte. 'She must have told me about her wedding because she wants me to come and re-enact the last scene of The Graduate'. Happy Ending

During the 'counseling' session, Lacey didn't actually shed a single tear in spite of scrunching her face up like she was all devastated by Chane's 'betrayal'. I don't even get what her beef is here, they've both being doing porn since they met, and what difference does it make which sex he's making money off of? I do wonder why he's lost interest in sex with her, but her drill sergeant attitude may have something to do with it.

So nice to see Nicole’s empathy for her dying friend extends only as far as the supreme disappointment of having to give up the crystal dance floor if they get married now, while her fiancée is still, uh, alive.  And of course the worst part is that she will be leaving Nicole alone if she should be inconsiderate enough to die. Daonte may luck out & become her back up.

They've suggested Tia has family money.  I'm surprised Nicolle isn't checking into what she would get if Tia dies.  Then again, Nicolle is on an intellectual level with Shawn and Daonte.  Not only doesn't the elevator reach the top floor; I'm not sure it doesn't automatically go to the basement.  Lisa would have a lawyer and an accountant checking the numbers. 

Unless you know there is no hope and drinking is how you want to go out, Tia could toy with the idea of putting down the bottle while she has spots on her liver.  Common sense is not the strong suit of so many of the folks on this show. 

How terrible would you feel if you heard your fiancee whine about not getting the perfect dream wedding because you're sick and want to get married asap?  In sickness and in health, unless that sickness in any way inconveniences me.  This is not a love affair for the ages.  What do Tia and Daonte see in Nicolle?

Ok, so when they first ran a commercial for this season, there was a scene of Stan rock climbing and his toupee flies up. Was I distracted and miss it, or did they cheat us of this glorious moment??

We learned that is is an extensive combover, teased to within an inch of its life, not the repurposed badger I assumed it was.  We saw the scene with Stan and Lisa at the rock climbing gym in this episode and the prior one, with the poor folks that work there holding onto the ropes while S&L were hanging halfway up the wall arguing.  We also got to see Stan's belly hanging out.  So with his combover pushed up and his shirt riding high, he appeared to be quite the catch.

I wondered about that, too. The timeline for Tia and Nicole seems longer than the other couples because there was a huge difference in Nicole's appearance from having COVID twice   being back on meth  when Daonte first saw her this season. So it's hard to tell how long it's been since we last saw Tia drinking and this diagnosis. Maybe she really will have a wakeup call but she seems plagued by a lot of issues, physical and more.

"Family money" could simply mean to this crowd that Tia's grandparents are collecting Social Security AND both working part-time jobs to supplement their incomes.  No one but Daonte ever seems to go to work.

Britney flat out said that Tia's grandparents "pay for everything" for her. I don't necessarily think they are wealthy but I believe they support her whether they can really afford to do so or not.

I wonder how her healthcare is covered. Medicaid? She's not employed and I don't think that she is young enough to still be on a parent's health insurance. She's already had one kidney removed; she has been scheduled for her liver surgery twice now so she's seeing a doctor and probably on a bunch of medications. None of that is cheap. She really does need to lay off the booze and the drugs if she wants to heal up her liver and hang onto her remaining kidney. I don't see Britney donating one to save her if it comes to that...

My county has free medical care for the indigent, but not all counties do.
