Confirmation that Karen has in fact had 4 DUIs not 2, according to documents filed by the prosecutor per The Washington Post. The prosecutor also questioned the timing of her rehab and said it equated to a luxury resort experience, including spa services & a chef.

Karen is expected to speak during her sentencing Wednesday.

I think the judge may lower the boom on her since this is number 4.

this is nuts to me that you can have this many offenses and only get 6 months . thats just mind blowing to me .. people used to get arrested with weed and automatically  get mandatory time .. this woman was behind the wheel putting her life and others in danger and they are like oh well .. thats crazy to me

EDIT[11:05 AM] Now the judge is reading Karen for filth about the bodycam footage. 

EDIT [11:07 AM] Allegedly the judge said Karen knew how to work the system for all those other DUIs she got.

I was following someone on Reddit who is in the courtroom, it's been an hour since it all started (started late) but nothing has been posted, what is taking so long!!!

I would have thought the first DUI would have humbled her.

Allegedly he also read her down about that bodycam footage (I been telling yall that "you are poor and white" to the cop wasn't going to help her).

Mind you, the prosecutors were only seeking 6 months.  The judge gave her the full 2 years.

Sounds like the judge needs to host the  next reunion.

EDIT: Karen has been taken straight into custody, according to Reddit.  I was listening to the Channel 7 livestream and whoever is talking is speculating which jail she will be going to but right now she's in the custody of the state of Maryland, not Montgomery County.

EDIT: The sentencing was delayed because the judge found out somebody was live tweeting/redditing the sentencing and ordered everyone's phones shut off.

Reddit reports only Ray was there.  Her children were not there and none of the RHOP cast members were there either. Poor Ray (although he might be secretly relieved). Karen reportedly told Ray "God's got you!" as she was taken away.

Karen's new zip code is 20841.

LOL apparently the judge said Karen was reckless driving her Mazda.

After she gets out, she can't drive for a year, after that interlock device on her car....

The courtroom was packed. They had folding chairs in the aisle. Karen didn't really react to the sentencing...

Her sentence started immediately. She may be held in a local Montgomery County facility, but they're not sure...

Oh, Auntie Kurn!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

If Salt Lake City didn't hold up production for Jen Shah, I don't see RHOP production waiting around for Karen.

Karen IMO is not as integral to the show as she and the people who like her think she is.

The only cast member who is integral to this show is Gizelle (and it pains me to say that).  If Gizelle went to jail for a year, I could see RHOP Production being held up waiting for her to get out. Karen (or the rest of the cast)? Nope.

I hope you're right, and the show resumes production in the spring as usual. If Kurn returns, she will have to abstain from alcohol as part of her probation. But just maybe she won't be asked back. We shall see.

I doubt it. Teresa was THE OG, the backbone of the NJ franchise (although I didn't necessarily agree with Bravo bringing her back, but Bravo has an affinity for frauds because they are good for ratings). Karen is not.

The judge doesn't trust Karen. Highlights of what he said:

  •  “Can we believe she has only driven while intoxicated four times in the last 17 years?”
  • “What’s the guarantee she is done driving while drunk?” McGann said. “Unfortunately, there is no guarantee.”
  • he continued, saying Huger was “in a drunken stupor,” her voice was slurred, and that she “babbled incessantly as she was driven to and at the police station.” 

Martella (Karen's laywer) would not say if he plans to appeal the conviction. 🥀

Correction: An earlier version of this story referred to Huger’s 2017 Maserati as a Mazda.💀

IMO the Season 9 finale episode was the last we will see of Karen on BRAVO because I don't think BRAVO would want the liability of bringing Karen back.  Karen is a 4x drunk driver, she cannot be trusted not to drink and drive and she cannot be trusted to take an Uber or hire a driver.  If she got drunk at a cast taping and then plowed into somebody afterwards and hurt/killed them, BRAVO could also be held liable.  As much as BRAVO likes Karen, I don't see them taking the risk.  She's going to be sitting next to Katie Rost on the radioactive bench.

When it was mentioned Karen was sexually assaulted as a student at the University of Virginia, it triggered a lightbulb moment for me that might provide more understanding for the "Thomas Jefferson's concubine" comment.

UVA was Thomas Jefferson's university.  I wonder if she was dating one of those preppy Chad types at UVa and he's the one who sexually assaulted her and "Thomas Jefferson" is just a symbolization of her trauma?

Well, she has a year to sit and unpack that.

Jenn got several years though. Teresa served just under a year. 
I guess if Bravo announces a special with Ray called “Kurn Checks In,” we’ll know.

True. They probably had cameras to catch the housewives reactions. They did this when Teresa was sentenced. Her family and cast mates pretended to be sad while holding back smiles. Ashley and Gizelle probably had their reactions filmed. Maybe at Ashley’s with her boys dancing on her kitchen island in bare feet while her and Gizelle pretended to cry.

No tea no shade no pink lemonade but Karen deserves jail time .. this isn’t something being done to her for no reason .. this is a direct cause from her reckless actions not once but 4 times .. think of all the times she drove sloshed and high on pills without being caught … 

Like this wasn’t an oops my first time ..
