There's soap site which follows the actor's social media for some reason. When he made a cryptic post about script he had, that site jumped on it and began pushing the belief that Cane was returning to Y&R as Aristotle Dumas. Problem is, that site is notorious for publishing pure clickbait scoops they mostly pull out of thin air.

I think it was also the way the actor left the show. They tried to make Cane the object of Traci's crush and he made it obvious he didn't want Cane to be any part of a romance with Traci. Allegedly he thought it would hurt his brand as a leading man. There was some other rumored BTS stuff that wasn't great either.

So Tracy has a bedroom`?  Was she sent there for bad behavior years ago and she sneaked out to write romantic novels in the middle of the night? I feel bad for her because something BAD is go on--Alan/Not Allen is going to panic and something horrible to her {and while he's at it, he should go after her hairdresser as well}.

I want to get this off my chest.  After my recent illness  I gained weight and I wasn't that comfortable and wore the same Komos and tops they put her in.  But there are MANY dresses/designers who cater to plus size woman and the producers should consider putting her in something not matronly.  Diane Von Furstenberg  has built a career with her wrapped dresses and other designers have as well.

The set confused me at first too until I remembered that all the Abbotts have moved into the GCAC while the Abbott manse is being renovated. A while back Traci said she had her own wing in the family home but all the rooms there seem way darker than those bright GCAC suites.

You’d think if Martin was pretending to be Alan, he’d try not to come across as a stage five clinger and whiny emo prick. But I guess if he really is Martin, he doesn’t exactly have the best control over his personality disorders. Of course it’s Martin, because Traci can’t have nice things.

Ha ha ha. Chance gave Summer numerous chances to call it off but had to dump her dense ass instead. Now that’s a gentleman. Guess he reached a point in the conversation where he realized that Summer didn’t have a lot of dignity to protect if she preferred Kyle. Chance was like “fuck it, ya dumped.” Then Summer runs off in a cloud of pout.

I don’t know what Phyllis is so afraid of when she’s protected by futuristic armor that she clearly scavenged from a flying saucer. Chance needs to tell the Newmans that he’s not their personal cop. It’s like he lets Nick and Sharon and Phyllis badger him until he reluctantly shares just enough information to send them into a tizzy of wild theories.

Yeah, it was mostly off-screen. They moved to New York, where Traci had her wildly successful writing career and they raised Coleen. John and young Billy lived in New York at the same time as well.

Chiming in about everyone dressed in blue and Sharon’s horrendous pants did her no favors especially when she was sitting on the couch..can you say pouch?  She looked humungous!  

Actress playing Tracy finally has a great storyline and is doing a great job in her scenes.

Phyllis' trench was odd to me. It was a very thin fabric so I don't know how much protection it would provide if she got caught outside in the rain.

Yeah, is a guy having unkempt hair supposed to be a tell? Adam/Martin mainly looked to me like he had jet lag and had been drinking too much on the flight over from Paris.

On a slightly tangential note, I tried watching one of the elebenty gabillion movie and TV adaptations of The Count of Monte Cristo. It was an effort to try to understand this Aristotle Dumas stuff JG has come up with.

Nope, the Aristotle Dumas storyline still doesn't make sense to me. Plus, I couldn't even get through the whole movie because it was so freaking boring! At least that part Y&R is getting right. 😉

Honestly, I always got a strong gay vibe on Alan.  Now, if this show was streaming or on cable?  I’m sure Ashley would’ve said — Hey, I knew Alan was gay, but if Traci & Alan wanna get together?  Well, he’s a nice guy, he’d treat her well & who am I to judge?  And btw, Traci marrying a gay man mighta made an interesting storyline for her.  Ah, silly me, expecting way too much from these stinko writers.

Summer running away, after Chance gently dumps her, was weird.  So what’s next for her?  Will she get advice from Mommie Dearest on how to stalk a man who has ZERO interest in her?  Welp, we know The Red Beast is highly experienced doing that!
