Joimiaroxeu March 28 Share March 28 Wow, in the middle of her heavy conversation with Billy, apparently Phyllis stepped away and got her hair flatironed and lightened. Okay. According to the CBS primetime show, "FBI: International," federal agents can arrest an American citizen on foreign soil. 🤠 Chance just needs to coordinate the Alan/Martin situation with people other than the basic French gendarmes. (And he better hurry because FBI: I has been cancelled.) Please tell me the next big GC society wedding isn't going to be Chelsea & Adam's. Yawn. Billy, you need to listen to Phyllis. Using Aristotle Dumas to get Chancellor back has "huge mistake" written all over it. (Gah, I'm actually giving Phyllis credit for good advice. What is this world??!?!!) However. Phyllis, there are times when it's best not to have secret info which, in the future, could become problematic for you to know. Whatever fool's folly Billy is up to wrt Chancellor might be one of those occasions.*** Chelsea receiving romantic advice from Nikki and Vikki. Given their own bad relationship histories, I'd've expected Chelsea to tell those two yentas to stay in their lanes. Nicely, of course. 😈 Sally's hair. IMO it was like she had two limp antennas hanging down the sides of her face. Otherwise, I liked her sleek chignon. ***Sally, see above. When Billy tells you, "Trust me, I know what I'm doing," you need to start running in the opposite direction at a hypersonic speed. Man, if 1337 h4x0r Phyllis can't even find out who Aristotle Dumas is, he must be extra good at staying hidden. 1 1 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8619629

What I would love to see is Jill back. I know that Jess Walton does not want to come back for any length of time. So - just my opinion - Show needs to recast Jill. Colleen Z would have been perfect had she not been brought on as a buffoon/lunatic. But there must be a large pool of soap opera vets who would be excellent; and ready. Anything to drive some life into the disaster of a storyline/soap opera we are watching. And Sharon/Phyllis. I remember most of the terrible things Phyllis has done to Sharon. But what has Sharon done that could possibly be as egregious? I don’t remember anything Sharon did that was as egregious as Phyllis . But Sally's not in the dark either, due to her L.A. history with the Forresters and Spencers. Hmm. Victor again using Neil's name in vain to manipulate Lily. Grrr. OMG, Sharon! Phyllis is falling apart right in front of you. You both need to talk this stuff out with a therapist who has the objectivity you can't have. Wait a minute, didn't Michael tell Victor yesterday that per his background investigation, Dumas wasn't interested in Winters Inc.? Today Victor was stoking Lily's fears about Dumas when he knows better. This guy. Lol, Sharon was way offended at the thought Christine had perhaps been a bigger longtime enemy to Phyllis than Sharon. Sharon and Phyllis moved from the coffeehouse, to the overlook park, and then to Society, only to keep saying the same things over and over. Good grief. But Lily, Victor can't be trusted either! Apparently for you, favor goes to the devil you know versus the one you just met. And now you've hooked Devon in on the Dumas worry too. Giiirrrlll. Okay, so Billy is indeed in cahoots with Dumas. Kinda shady, no? At least Sally won't be shocked when she eventually finds out Billy lied to her face. I’m sure Victor is hiding something about Dumas from Lily. If it’s Cane, that’s probably why. Just when I was almost liking Billy again, he goes back to his old bad self. I hope he crashes and burns but doesn’t bring Phyllis, Daniel and Sally down with him. 2 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8619645

He could have researched Damian's mom, too, and found out she lived in GC where his arch-nemesis Viktor holds court. A little more research finds the birth connection that might exist between Nate's dad and Damian and now Dumas has something to work with. The Winters (Lily and Devon and Nate) are running Chancellor until they are not. Viktor has always had something to do with it since he owned it after Katherine died. When Dumas determines that Amy had a baby with Nate's dad but Damian doesn't know, he gets the ball rolling for the reveal. Why, you say? Because it will get him in the door at Chancellor to mess with Viktor. The takeover of Chancellor by the Newman's gave Dumas a way to get the Winters in his plan. Amy's cancer was coincidental, but in a good way for Dumas. He still could have used her (and the He's Your Brother lie) without it. Now, Dumas (since he must read all the news flashes about GC Legacy Corporations, doesn't everyone?) also knows about Billy and his ousting and plan to have the biggest, bestest media conglomerate since Rupert Murdoch and he's using that buffoon to blindside Viktor. All of this will be for naught, since Viktor always wins. We know Billy with blow this. **This is not a spoiler-just my caffeine fueled mind going off on a tangent.** You are probably pretty close to what this is all about. Now if we can figure out who he is, that would be great. 23 hours ago, Joimiaroxeu said: Diane, trying to pet a rabid vampire bat is usually not a good idea. Not only was his voice deeper, his Adam's apple was as big as...wait for it...Adam's! 🤡🤡🤡 Chelsea and Adam, you can never break up again for fear of triggering the return of Connor's OCD. Bad move, continuing to give him so much power over your relationship. I liked Billy's short trench. It was kind of like a fancier car coat. Poor Traci. At least she's facing her horrid doubts about Alan/Martin instead of keeping her head in the clouds. "Aristotle Dumas is the key to Chancellor." Sure, Billy, as long as he isn't planning to snatch Chancellor for himself. You're bait, not an investment. Contact Chance? Pshht. Jack, you and Traci need to call the FBI. A) since Alan used a cell phone, the crime technically crossed state lines; and, B) Chance is, um, less than effective as a detective. Diane should know better . Didn’t feel bad for her now. Billy should know better but that’s a lie because we know he doesn’t. Did he think Phyllis would be happy and celebrate with him over the news. I hope this Dumas person gets Billy bad. Serves him right. Phyllis should run far from Billy very far. Kyle’s just a lovesick puppy who is on a mystical journey to find his best self, guided by his sweet and strong sherpa, Claire, as he struggles up the mountain of embarrassing bullshit that is their relationship. Isn’t it cute and schmoopy how they blew off work to fuck? I’ll bet the poor saps who got stuck picking up their slack think so. How dysfunctional is it that Victoria described Victor’s controlling behavior as if it’s just the old coot’s way and sure it’s annoying but ya know, everyone knuckles under eventually. Didn’t really seem all that fazed by Claire’s reference to Myanmar, where Billy was raped and imprisoned for the crime of having a relationship with her. The fact that Victor’s kids know all this dark, ugly shit about him and keep going back for more is one of the more depressing things about this show. And then there’s Lily, indignantly huffing and puffing about her unimpeachable source to Damian as if Victor didn’t just recently betray her in a pretty big way. Put a quarter in your ear, girl, because you just played yourself. Boes, I’m glad you’re on the mend! 1 5 3 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8622663

tinderbox April 1 Share April 1 I haven’t watched this crazy show in a long time. What has happened to Melissa Claire Egan? Super dark hair, overdone black eye makeup, and most noteworthy… her ridiculous weight loss. I swear, it took me a bit to recognize her. Joimiaroxeu April 1 Share April 1 TMW you're trying to make nice with your ex, he drops a bomb on you about him and his previous ex, and you're wearing an interesting top. And by "interesting," Sally, I mean 100% bleh. Amy is a lot. And IMO, not in a good way. Chelsea, you should've known better than to expect a positive reaction from Billy about your reunion with Adam. Billy loathes Adam! Gah, you clueless dust bunny. Similarly, I really didn't understand why Sally felt she needed to justify her feelings to Adam about anything. Especially concerning her dating Billy. Stop talking, Chelsea! It was not an argument you can ever win with Billy. But maybe you lowkey wanted to twist the knife. Hmm? Not sure why Amy expected Nate to explain Lily's negative behavior toward Damian. Lily lives across the hall, Amy. Go ask her yourself. Darn right, Damian! Both Lily and Nate need to do some research on the concept of boundaries. And some self-reflection on why they've let themselves be worked by Victor and Amy. William, sigh. You might be right about Adam & Chelsea but geez, let it go. Toss those two to the Fates, and appreciate what you're developing with Sally. Does Sally not know about Billy's daughter Delia and how she died? Sally defending Adam to Billy seemed kind of thoughtless to me. It ain't that deep, Damian. Perhaps Aristotle Dumas isn't happy his key employee has been so out-of-pocket, and he's the one trying to make you look bad in GC. 21 hours ago, One Tough Cookie said: Lilly has quite of set of bazooms, doesn't she? That top she was wearing made them front and center! Yeah and Damian definitely got himself an eyeful of her rack. At least MCE hasn't gotten a "Barbie nose" which seems to be popular right now: From the googles AI: Quote A "Barbie nose" refers to a specific, trending rhinoplasty shape characterized by a small, refined tip, a straight or slightly curved bridge, and overall symmetrical proportions, aiming for a delicate, doll-like appearance. 4 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623054
Waldo13 April 1 Share April 1 Why did Sally look so shocked that Adam and Chelsea are back together. Wasn’t Sally the won that predicted that would happen. Billy👃has added something else to his persona. Besides being a fuck up looser arrogant pice of crap, he’s also a giant prick. Why does Chelsea have to justify being with Adam to Billy👃? Billy👃just has to stick his 👃 into Chelsea’s business and I have to say, that’s a lot of 👃. Does Sally have buyers remorse or should I say Billy👃 remorse. It seems like it’s in the back of Sally’s mind that Billy👃 is not trustworthy. Billy👃’s diatribe about Adam is more of a diatribe about himself. Did Manic Phyllis🕷️’s demon, as she mellows, now resides within Billy👃’s body. 🥁Tara! Tara! Js Nana April 2 Share April 2 Everyone's saying that Cane Ashby is going to turn out to be Aristotle Dumas, but I'm not certain how past Ashby storylines are going to fit in with Victor's description of Dumas as being someone who has been stiff business competition for him for years. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623143
ScoobieDoobs April 2 Share April 2 Sheesh, was Billy angry today or what? Not an attractive trait to the ladies, bud! Was he always this angry & I didn’t notice it cuz I was too distracted by his other unattractive traits? Like failing at everything he attempts, avoiding ANY kind of actual work, bs-ing his head off, being a thoughtless self-absorbed a-hole . . . oh and then there’s the nostrils. Uh, dare I ask this, but what the heck happened to The Red Beast? Where’d she disappear to? 4 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623147
Snaporaz April 2 Share April 2 Is it really AI writing the show? It seems more like Mad Libs. Character A runs into Character B in Eating/Drinking Establishment and has Awkward/Cute/Hostile encounter. I was reluctant to start watching BtG, because I really don't have the time to commit to another 5 episodes/week show, and frankly, the preview commercials looked terrible. But I did start watching and I'm hooked. A little over a month in and I'm so much more invested in everything going on over there than I am in Y&R that I've been watching since I was a kid in 1977. Now I could do without the casino mob boss (and there is a character named Elon, of all things?!?), but it's a solid show that's soapy yet still seems relevant to real life. Y&R should take some notes. 3 1 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623282
NinjaPenguins April 2 Share April 2 I’m also enjoying Beyond the Gates. Sure, it has its flaws, but characters mostly talk like real people instead of exposition delivering hand puppets. The sets aren’t grim mortuary waiting room chic. I think I look forward to watching it the most out of the three shows I have waiting on my DVR after work. Not that I didn’t enjoy Y&R’s pungent, steaming helping of Adam and Chelsea dropping their emotional stink bombs on their exes. Sally and Billy both should have laughed and walked away. Is Billy blowing up his life again with his revenge obsession? Damn skippy. Is Chelsea an absolute knob for psychoanalyzing his pancake ass just because he didn’t blow confetti out his double barrel nostrils upon hearing she and Adam got back together? Also true. Go back to your mausoleum and stop infecting other people with your joyless union, kids. I’m sure Victor can offer all the validation you desperately desire. Nate and Damien acting like little kids who got caught being naughty was kind of cute. I didn’t care for Amy grilling them and insisting that they were hiding terrible secrets. Honestly, who gives a damn if Damien did or did not receive a dossier on Nate’s cousins before Nate lured him to GC under false pretenses? Big companies probably compile info about other executives all the time. What is the big, hairy deal? I don’t get why this would be a betrayal of epic proportions if Damien did have intel earlier than anyone thought he did. 1 1 1 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623443

Victoria didn't react much when Claire brought it up. I wondered, too. I don't like when characters know shit they shouldn't, especially without any explanation. And it does happen on this show. Very poor writing. I like Claire. I don't like her being with Kyle. He comes off as a sleazy predator and seems much too old for her. Seeing them together makes me uncomfortable. Regarding measles, I used to get them a lot when I was a kid. I was vaccinated for rubella, (German Measles), had rubella, and blood tests show that I still am not immune to it. I've also had chicken pox twice and a horrific case of shingles that set a chain of events in place that ruined my health. Basically because of doctors throwing meds at me the way monkeys throw their shit. So this big measles outbreak has me very concerned. I was just hearing about damages that the diabetic GLP drugs can do to people and I am wondering if MTS and MCE used them and had bad side effects. And neither of those women needed lose any weight. 2 1 2 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623445

Kemper April 2 Share April 2 Is Chelsea's mother still alive? If so, she should develop a critical disease resulting in Chelsea, Connor and Adam having to go and care for her. All three of them stay. When show gets better writers ... maybe Adam can come back (sadly, perhaps as a recast; because his character has been ruined). He and Chelsea have divorced - she is keeping Connor. Hopefully we will never see the two of them again. LIke Christian. Wish there was a way we could make the entire Alexander Dumas storyline disappear. Along with Daman and Amy. 1 1 1 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/107814-getting-to-genoa-you-all-over-again-yr-daily-chat/page/476/#findComment-8623479

And, it's not as if he wouldn't have noticed, all on his own, that Devon, Lily and Nate all have identical rods up their respective behinds. It may even have made him soften towards them, recognizing that he, at least, has that in common with them. I'm starting to think Olivia isn't with Doctors Without Borders at all and just using that as an excuse to stay as far away from her relations as possible to save her own sanity. IS, honey, not has.😉 Amy sure has a lot of nerve, treating Nate as if she is also his mother because now he's brother to Damian. And demanding that the "boys" spill everything they are arguing about. What? Are they nine year olds squabbling? She seems to forget that she insinuated herself into Nate's life to find his unknown sib, has moved into his apartment and generally just disrupted his entire life with her problems. (So when was the last time Nate was in the office? I can understand why Lily is pissed with the whole thing.) Maybe a side-effect of the 'treatment' is regressing to Damian's childhood and including Nate. Isn't this an experimental drug she is on whose side-effects are not quite known and shouldn't she still be in ChiTown so the doctors can monitor it? Take your attitude and walk it out the door, Amy. And don't forget your wig. 4 hours ago, NinjaPenguins said: Is Billy blowing up his life again with his revenge obsession? Joimiaroxeu April 2 Share April 2 (edited) The young actor who plays Connor, Judah Mackey, was on FBI: Most Wanted last night (CBS). He played a kid whose dad was randomly poisoning people. The end of the episode was heartbreaking as the boy had to watch the FBI agents fatally shoot his father, and then turn their guns on him. I think it must have been filmed a while ago because Judah definitely did not look as tall or old as he does on Y&R now. 15 minutes ago, MollyB said: Amy sure has a lot of nerve, treating Nate as if she is also his mother because now he's brother to Damian.
