Does the monkeys with a keyboard think we are stupid?  Correct me if I’m wrong but initially Sharon and Manic Phyllis🕷️ were held for 6 months but Manic Phyllis🕷️ told Billy👃 she was gone for days. 

Manic Phyllis🕷️seems to be more inclined to turn over a new leaf with rejecting Billy👃 wanting to get Chancellor back.  

What happened to Chance checking out the store where the device, on the gas pipe, was purchased?  

Billy👃 is like Icarus flying to close to the sun; or Billy👃 is going for the brass ring but instead of grabbing the brass ring he’s knocked off the carousel course. Maybe Billy👃is Gollum chasing  his “Precious” which is Chancellor.  To sum it up Billy👃is a looser and he even may be loosing Sally.

Almost the whole cast (mostly the men) are dressed in purple. It’s never blue. It’s just purple. I guess it’s a color thing that’s they feel the camera picks up better and the men look best in. It used to be really crazy when they had the Phoenix hotel lobby because the staff wore purple too.

I fast forwarded all the Jack and Kyle and Victoria and Claire eating lunch scenes. Talk about Zzzzzzzzzzz! This show has always been famous for the slow pacing but what makes it worse is the horrible writing.

I’m not sure I want to see Billy Flynn on this show. He might die of boredom. Although, I understand he wanted to get away from Days and their insane taping schedule. I think the Days actors are tired of not being able to discuss the show and confused where they are storyline wise when doing interviews. At least, with Y&R he will only have to deal with a month out or so. It’s funny but I was just watching a very Guiding Light from 1979 (I think) on YouTube and, the taping and air date on the clapboard was 3 weeks. LOL!!!! The good ole days.

So… this is the future of soaps: AI written dialogue created by force feeding the ‘bot greeting cards, rejected Hallmark movie scripts, recipes for treacle and images of paint drying. It’s like foie gras that’s only psychologically cruel.

We get it. Claire is pure light and totally not a nepo baby hire. Kyle’s just a lovesick puppy who is on a mystical journey to find his best self, guided by his sweet and strong sherpa, Claire, as he struggles up the mountain of embarrassing bullshit that is their relationship. How dysfunctional is it that Victoria described Victor’s controlling behavior as if it’s just the old coot’s way and sure it’s annoying but ya know, everyone knuckles under eventually. Didn’t really seem all that fazed by Claire’s reference to Myanmar, where Billy was raped and imprisoned for the crime of having a relationship with her. The fact that Victor’s kids know all this dark, ugly shit about him and keep going back for more is one of the more depressing things about this show.

And then there’s Lily, indignantly huffing and puffing about her unimpeachable source to Damian as if Victor didn’t just recently betray her in a pretty big way. Put a quarter in your ear, girl, because you just played yourself.

Billy👃has added something else to his persona. Besides being a fuck up looser arrogant pice of crap, he’s also a giant prick.  Why does Chelsea have to justify being with Adam to Billy👃?  Billy👃just has to stick his 👃 into Chelsea’s business and I have to say, that’s a lot of 👃. 

Does Sally have buyers remorse or should I say Billy👃 remorse.  It seems like it’s in the back of Sally’s  mind that Billy👃 is not trustworthy. 

Billy👃’s diatribe about Adam is more of a diatribe about himself. Did Manic Phyllis🕷️’s demon, as she mellows, now resides within  Billy👃’s body.

Is it really AI writing the show?  It seems more like Mad Libs.  Character A runs into Character B in Eating/Drinking Establishment and has Awkward/Cute/Hostile encounter. 

I was reluctant to start watching BtG, because I really don't have the time to commit to another 5 episodes/week show, and frankly, the preview commercials looked terrible.  But I did start watching and I'm hooked.  A little over a month in and I'm so much more invested in everything going on over there than I am in Y&R that I've been watching since I was a kid in 1977.  Now I could do without the casino mob boss (and there is a character named Elon, of all things?!?), but it's a solid show that's soapy yet still seems relevant to real life.  Y&R should take some notes.

I’m also enjoying Beyond the Gates. Sure, it has its flaws, but characters mostly talk like real people instead of exposition delivering hand puppets. The sets aren’t  grim mortuary waiting room chic. I think I look forward to watching it the most out of the three shows I have waiting on my DVR after work.

Not that I didn’t enjoy Y&R’s pungent, steaming helping of Adam and Chelsea dropping their emotional stink bombs on their exes. Sally and Billy both should have laughed and walked away. Is Billy blowing up his life again with his revenge obsession? Damn skippy. Is Chelsea an absolute knob for psychoanalyzing his pancake ass just because he didn’t blow confetti out his double barrel nostrils upon hearing she and Adam got back together? Also true. Go back to your mausoleum and stop infecting other people with your joyless union, kids. I’m sure Victor can offer all the validation you desperately desire.

Nate and Damien acting like little kids who got caught being naughty was kind of cute. I didn’t care for Amy grilling them and insisting that they were hiding terrible secrets. Honestly, who gives a damn if Damien did or did not receive a dossier on Nate’s cousins before Nate lured him to GC under false pretenses? Big companies probably compile info about other executives all the time. What is the big, hairy deal? I don’t get why this would be a betrayal of epic proportions if Damien did have intel earlier than anyone thought he did.

I like Claire. I don't like her being with Kyle. He comes off as a sleazy predator and seems much too old for her. Seeing them together makes me uncomfortable.

Regarding measles, I used to get them a lot when I was a kid. I was vaccinated for rubella, (German Measles), had rubella, and blood tests show that I still am not immune to it. I've also had chicken pox twice and a horrific case of shingles that set a chain of events in place that ruined my health. Basically because of doctors throwing meds at me the way monkeys throw their shit. So this big measles outbreak has me very concerned. 

I was just hearing about damages that the diabetic GLP drugs can do to people and I am wondering if MTS and MCE used them and had bad side effects. And neither of those women needed lose any weight.

Is Chelsea's mother still alive? If so, she should develop a critical disease resulting in Chelsea, Connor and Adam having to go and care for her.  All three of them stay. When show gets better writers ... maybe Adam can come back (sadly, perhaps as a recast; because his character has been ruined). He and Chelsea have divorced - she is keeping Connor. Hopefully we will never see the two of them again. LIke Christian. Wish there was a way we could make the entire Alexander Dumas storyline disappear. Along with Daman and Amy.

Agreed.

And, it's not as if he wouldn't have noticed, all on his own,  that Devon, Lily and Nate all have identical rods up their respective behinds.  It may even have made him soften towards them, recognizing that he, at least, has that in common with them.

I'm starting to think Olivia isn't with Doctors Without Borders at all and just using that as an excuse to stay as far away from her relations as possible to save her own sanity.

Are they nine year olds squabbling?  She seems to forget that she insinuated herself into Nate's life to find his unknown sib, has moved into his apartment and generally just disrupted his entire life with her problems. (So when was the last time Nate was in the office? The young actor who plays Connor, Judah Mackey, was on FBI: Most Wanted last night (CBS). He played a kid whose dad was randomly poisoning people. The end of the episode was heartbreaking as the boy had to watch the FBI agents fatally shoot his father, and then turn their guns on him. I think it must have been filmed a while ago because Judah definitely did not look as tall or old as he does on Y&R now.

ALL. OF. THIS. I think Amy is one of the most unintentionally repugnant guest characters this show has ever had. And I feel bad for the actress because she is a beautiful woman but has to look like a craven hag for this role. Even evil Jordan got to wear better wigs.
