Weren’t they married?

IIRC, there were earlier seasons when Kyle mentioned Kim wasn’t getting along with Kathy. I believe it’s all three of them thanks to the dynamic created by Big Kathy. My mother use to say she “gave her life to her three girls” and “almost died giving birth” to us.

Dead on. I grew up in this kind of home, with a similar type of mother and also two sisters. My mother did the exact thing. She said she wanted us to be close, it was all about “family” and “blood” but she pitted us against each other constantly. We were always jockeying for position to be in my mother’s good graces. None of us has ever gotten along with each other for a sustained period, even as adults. What is surprising is how clueless Kim and Kyle seem to be about their background. They need to look up Adult Children of Alcoholics. It would give them insight and a good start to resolving their problems with themselves and each other. They each seem to have a lot of Laundry List traits. I thought Erika was nasty, as usual.

The mom was an abusive alcoholic who triangulated and manipulated her daughters. The dysfunction has continued in their relationships as adults.

Wow. I went on a cruise at Christmas and got behind on this forum. I had no idea Mia and Gordon split up.

I would like to see Alexis come back too. It will drive Shannon crazy. I don't really miss Vicki. She's best in small doses. Jennifer didn't add much to the show. Taylor is a background player. I hope that is just a bad angle in the picture of Heather. She is very lean and certainly doesn't need to lose any weight. According to Adam, Tres Amigas are no more. Shannon and Vicki are still friendly, but neither is speaking to Tamra.

I didn't recognize her at first. She had the look of a heavy drinker. Her face was bloated and she looked like she'd gained weight. I could tell in her stomach and hips. Many of the people on this show gain weight so no big deal, but usually it's during the season. Kristin hasn't been on in awhile. I wonder if she and Ariana are really that friendly or if she was set up by producers. I just got to the end of this season so I'd be ready for S11 at the end of the month. Sandoval is a sleaze and Raquel is no better IMO. I was cringed during the scene of them together. Ugh. Yes, Tom and Ariana were having problems in their relationship. That's clear. Ariana had her role in it, but the way he responded was horrible. Random: Lala is beautiful but I think she looked so much better in the earlier seasons when she had light brown hair. I don't think the white blonde hair is flattering to her. Weird to me that they kept Schwartz's relationship with Jo, his girlfriend, off the show this whole season. It shows how fake these "realty" shows are. You know Katie and all the others knew he had a girlfriend, yet no one talked about it.

Most dramatic HW season finale I can remember! Most likely producer-driven. I wonder why Angie wasn't on the beach when Heather had her talk with them about confronting Monica. Anyone else notice that? I always thought Jen gave Heather the black eye. They had a codependent relationship and Heather seemed afraid of Jen. But I was surprised Heather finally admitted it. I don't like it either. Yep and it's SOP for Meredith. She's been drugged all season.

I noticed this too. I've thought for some time that Meredith is on benzos, but this season she sounds and acts even more drugged. I wonder if her dosage increased. Meanwhile, Whitney is at the screeching opposite end! I don't blame Heather for walking away. She was right. Whitney was drunk and obnoxious. ITA. He's the perfect example of an over-indulged child who's now scarily an adult... sort-of. Why do these women constantly talk about their vaginas? Why am I even hearing that word? None of my women friends and I ever discuss this. Am I just old and out of touch? I hear it on other reality shows too (Vanderpump Rules). Is vagina the new buzz word for younger women? Sheesh. In that get-up she reminded me of Gloria Swanson "I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille."

What does Todd do for a living again? Is he making so much they can easily afford $40K per month in rent? It seemed staged to me. Alexia asked him what the price point was on tv. Really? They haven’t already had that conversation? She was already looking at apartments. It seemed more likely that he stated it to make them sound like big shots. I’m jaded from watching so many of these HWs shows for years. Most of them lie about their real lives and try to project the image that they are all super wealthy, have great marriages, kids, etc., only for us to learn it’s all a ruse.

Yep. It seems set up for TV to me. He wants to sounds like they are really rich. In reality, there is probably financial issues they are hiding. The apartment lease, move out by the end of the month bit sounds suspicious. Agree but Alexia said they had been renting for six years, so even when the interest rates were really low and the housing market was good. I think there is more to this story.

Lisa is not the most self-aware person on the planet. Larsa was right. Don’t tell him you had to put a reminder on your phone! Sheesh! Jody sounded less than thrilled.

Way late to the party. Currently watching infamous S10. Just finished E6. Can someone clue me in to when all hell breaks loose?

There is definitely something off about her! Is it substances, mental illness, just generally oddness? Whatever, she's not helping herself much on here. Watching these women makes me wonder why the Bravo producers thought going with a total reboot of NYC was a good idea. I didn't watch the new women. I like the OGs. Agree that all these women have seen Scary Island. Dorinda, you're not fooling anyone. I'm glad Kristen's marriage survived. That must have been a tough period for her. I caught a few glimpses of angry, drunk Dorinda clawing at the door. Wonder if she'll break free sometime this season. Oh and Dorinda, say "pause" if you want. You were fired like all the others. Kristen got it right.

I read somewhere that in California if you're married more than 10 years, the spouse gets alimony for life. I don't know if this true, but I do remember reading other articles about the 10-year period being significant in California. There were rumors that's why Tom Cruise dumped Nicole Kidman right before their 10-year anniversary. I'd like to know more about Sutton's husband and what he does for a living. I find it hard to imagine Erika in love with anyone other than herself. The woman is ice cold.

Erika tries to be shocking and comes off vulgar and obnoxious. I wonder if the producers are prodding these women about the sex talk. It's gotten worse the last few seasons. I understand Kyle has gone through a lot the last year or so, but she is still hateful to me. She is HMGIC and that's why most of the others tolerate her. They would rather be on the team than on the bench.

I preferred Sheen but I thought Carvel was also good. He had Blair's voice down. I noticed his teeth weren't great but didn't think much of it. It's the case with a lot of the Brits. Either their insurance doesn't include dental or they just don't focus on their teeth as much. I've heard some of them joke about Americans being obsessed with their teeth. The scene with Blair giving the Queen his ideas was so good. She was very uncomfortable with what he was saying. Imelda Staunton nailed it and a lot of it was expression and body language.

Eliza and Kat wanted their TV engagement moment. They didn't waste much time backing out once the show aired.

The sex talk on these shows is offputting to me. These women are crude. I heard the same on Potomac's last episode. If men were talking like this about women we'd think they were pigs. I cannot stand Erika. I fast-forward through the scenes that focus on her. I was surprised to hear about Kyle's friend. I believe she is grieving, but I still suspect her anger is because she caught Mauricio cheating.

I was chuckling at Kiki because she was saying exactly what I was thinking. Lisa needs to stop! When will these women realize filler is not their friend? Lisa's is creeping back too.
