  1. She wasn't interested in the beginning but seemed to have warmed up to him after their talk. She was giving off much friendlier vibes. Sounded like Dennis didn't want to take a commitment.
  2. ITA. I'm ashamed to admit I kind of wanted a drunk Dorinda scene just to liven things up.
  3. I agree. Her body language was obvious. She clearly isn't interested in Leo. She looked bored. They were holding hands but their bodies looked stiff. I wish Leo would cut his hair so I could see what he really looks like. He seems like a nice guy. Interesting that Chris didn't get an exit speech in the car. ON 7/2/2018 AT 7:05 PM, SALLYALBRIGHT SAID: Ha! Same for me. I don't like men in Birkenstocks, red pants or skinny jeans. I'm old school though. : )
  4. I think she needs a sober guy. It would not be good for her to be in a relationship with someone who drinks as much as Shep or any of these guys. If she wants to stay sober, her whole life will have to change. Hopefully off season she spends time with some non-drinking friends. I am not convinced she was just depressed when she went MIA for a week. She could've been drinking and still passed a drug test, depending on when it was. Alcohol doesn't stay in your system very long. I also wonder if she is still employed. There really is no excuse for not calling her supervisor. Even if she was depressed, she could have called in sick. Having said that, I am impressed by what a turnaround Kathryn has made this season. It's like watching a new person. She seems composed, rational and mature. Whatever medication she is on must have also helped tamp down her emotions and histrionics. I don't think this show is good for her recovery though. I hope she is able to find other employment. Chelsea is my second favorite (after Cameron). I think she's cute, interesting and fun. She can do better than Austen. I actually felt a little sorry for Ashley when she was talking to Shep. She sounded so pathetic and was blind to his body language. He was looking around, avoiding eye contact with her and seemed uncomfortable. It was obvious he did not want to talk to her. The other thing I can't figure out is why she stays with Thomas, who doesn't seem into her at all. He has pretty much told her that he can take or leave her. The relationship is about 70% her and 30% him.
  5. Craig looked drunk and sweaty the whole episode. I am worried about the guy.
  6. He really impressed me. He was strong, calm and decisive. I liked that he didn't let Chris distort what happened. Wills was right. He didn't say Chris disrespected him and he didn't get upset. He said he was going to give him a couple of minutes and that's what he did. He calmly told Chris his time was up without yelling, posturing or insulting him And I loved how he walked away when the other guys were jumping into the conversation even though they were backing him up. He wanted no part of it. Wills for the win! I would've cut Jordan too. I don't want a man who might filch my beauty products or--even worse--have nicer ones. My take is Becca cannot stand Chris. Her body language was telling. She did not touch him, didn't hug him goodbye and tried her best not to look him in the eye. (Has a Bachelorette ever refused to talk to someone like she did Chris? It was awesome.) I think she was frustrated she had to deal with this jerk. Producers are probably keeping him around for drama since David and Jordan are gone. The latter part of the episode was rather entertaining to me. I have not seen three guys so annoying (David) and full of themselves (Jordan, Chris) in such a short time span. How can Chris be a sales instructor and be so clueless about how he comes across to people? Does he really think the Bachelorette/star of the show is supposed to pursue him? His entitlement was showing.
  7. If she is an alcoholic--and only she can determine that--then she doesn't need a reason to drink. Alcoholics drink when they're sad, happy, angry, bored, you name it. Stress and depression is often used as an excuse to explain the drinking. And yes, alcoholic drinking makes depression worse. It's a vicious cycle.
  8. Dorinda has always alternated between attractive and kind of frumpy to me. When she's drunk and unkempt I can picture her in a soiled uniform waiting tables at a truck stop diner and yelling at the cooks in the kitchen. I've never really liked her hair, but especially not like this season. It's a little too close to the "wet-set" my mother used to get, and it ages Dorinda. She looks better in most of the THs, but then they all do. But the one with the white hair and dark lipstick isn't a good look for her. Luann is gorgeous and has regal bearing (when she's not drunk).
  9. It's weird. Just a few episodes ago we were talking about how off the rails Sonja was, and she seemed normal in this episode. I wonder how much time there is between episodes. Sonja said she's not drinking but I thought I saw her drinking wine at the table with the others. It looked like a wine glass but perhaps it was water. It's been two or three episodes since angry drunk Dorinda has made an appearance. Looks like she's back next week.
  10. Some of his behaviors also suggest a substance abuse problem. It seems like he always has a drink nearby. He's kind of restlesss and out of sorts, late all the time, irrresposible. He embarrassed himself in that meeting with Patricia. He looks strung out. I wonder if he has problems with drugs too. I'm not giving Naomi a pass for her rage and hostility, but I wonder if there is more to the story than he's just not motivated.
  11. I didn't watch the first few seasons. I started after Jill had left. Has Bethenny always been this thin? Speaking of weight, Sonja looks like she's lost the extra pounds she was carrying at the beginning of the season. LuAnn looked good but I am sensing she is viewing sobriety as a temporary thing. I could be wrong though. It was a little strange to see Dorinda talking about LuAnn's situation when Dorinda probably has as big or bigger a drinking problem. Is she really unaware of this or just choosing to ignore it?
  12. As the man said, they aren't fertilized! They're just eggs. Gosh, they are foolish women. I pity Scott. I hope he comes to his senses after he watches this episode.
  13. I did too. I always worry about the dogs who are left behind. I was thinking Butterbean drank out of the toilet, but maybe not considering it was a small dog. They can go without food for several days but not water. So glad the family has the dog!
  14. He looks awful this season. What on earth happened to him? I thought he was decent looking the first few seasons. He's not even 40 and already going downhill. Didn't he joke a few weeks ago that he wasn't "that drunk" when he broke his nose? Buddy, when you start getting bruises and breaks from your drunken antics, it's time to stop drinking. It's not helping your looks either.
  15. Didn't we speculate last season that Ramona had a facelift, eye job or something else? She looked bad in the early part of the season before her face settled. Perhaps it was just Botox and filler though. I hope Sonja is acting because she seems off her rocker. Is she on something besides alcohol? She is really out there. I don't even like watching her, especially the comments to men. If a man were doing this to young women we'd think he was a pig.
  16. ITA! I could not believe he let them go. All the way up to the end, I was hoping he would show up and capture them. It was really frustrating to me to see them--especially Elizabeth--get off.
  17. Agree about the garage scene. I did not like the rest of the show. I wanted Elizabeth to get caught.
  18. I agree. I do not think it is a healthy environment for Kathryn. I hope she has a support network of recovery friends who are sober. It is not healthy for her to be around so much drinking. IMO it would be better for her not to be on this show, although I expect she needs the income. I also don't understand how Thomas can be absolutely wasted (often), loud, abusive and scary and still have full custody of the kids. I mean... how often is the guy actually sober?
  19. They were awful. They reminded me of the popular girls in school who wouldn't talk to me because I wasn't good enough for them. They would laugh and make fun of other girls. Having said that, Ashley also behaved terribly. She was drunk and obnoxious. Thomas did seem like he enjoyed it. I saw him smirking a few times, and boy was he wasted. I could hear him slurring his words and his eyes looked glassy. He really doesn't seem into Ashley. It looks more like he just tolerates her. I don't know... maybe they're editing it to look that way. I can't figure it out.
  20. I liked that scene. Cameron is naturally funny.
  21. ITA! She drives me nuts. I don't know how Thomas stands her. Actually, I don't think their relationship is real. He doesn't seem into her at all. I think she was hired to create drama with Kathryn. I never thought I would be rooting for Kathryne, but I am now... especially when Ashley is around. Yikes, she is horrible.
  22. Sorry, I quoted the wrong one. I was referring to the scene showing Sonja talking to the woman who does her facial about douching between having sex with two different men. IMO TMI!
  23. It was appalling. I fast-forwarded through the rest of it.
