The Lavender Ladies are forced to look into going after each other, and we get Sylvia vs. Marie, with Smashley being bitchy in general. Also, Johnny slips out of the crosshairs for the umpteenth time. Yaaaaaaaaay. At least the vote was straightforward, in the sense that Cara Maria & Marie could pick anyone. And they went with Lavender Lad AND a Young Buck. Poor stupid Shane. He's like Charlie Brown rushing to kick the football. He and Nelson get beat next week, then they go home on the Double Cross. And as nice a guy as Nelson can be, I'm great with that. Screw Shane. Anybody else thinking that Hunter was wishing his cord would snap rather than deal with Smashley? I'm rooting for a meteor to break into two pieces . . . one hits the main house, the other Redemption House.

Good start, even as the series goes back to the tried-and-true trope of a speedster fucking out the timeline. Only this time, it's Iris and Barry's unbelievably cute daughter. She can run, she's a geek, and she can blurt out future slang culled from Batman Beyond and Legion of Super-Heroes stories. I'm still not hating Ralph. "Wells from Earth-2" could sound like "Wells from Earth, too." I also get not knowing about the multiverse. "Ralph, buddy, what did you think was up with those Nazis invading our wedding?" "Well, if I hadn't declined the invite after wrecking your bachelor party [fanon on my part], I would've known. And I thought those were garden-variety Nazis." "Hundred of troops and some with super powers?" "I thought DeVoe converted them. I don't know. I'm an idiot." Nice bit with Gridlock, a guy taken from a fill-in Impulse story. And I'm hoping this season's Big Bad pans out. As much as I was cool with not bringing in an evil speedster, DeVoe was insufferable on many levels. Hey, we got the costume-in-the-ring! And it was developed by Ryan Choi! I'm so happy and so geeked. ETA: Wait, the actress playing Nora is Jessica Parker Kennedy? I'm guessing at least one parent was heavy into SATC.

Classic video was reloaded. Explains why there were captions. . . It was the Facebook version.

Nicely done both times. There are faults, but there’s only so much time for the clip.

“Huh, I wonder why @mojoween is upset? [fliping to TBS]. Ooooooooooohhhh. That will do it.”

@AimingforYoko . . . I meant in terms of marketing.

I think neither MLB nor Fox would agree with you. Expect the Sox or the Yanks to at least make the Series.

Turn out I was a week off. Bonus: separate editions for classic and modern versions.

Great, another right-winger with no real political experience and zero manners might take over another country. Like the rest of the world doesn't hate the United States enough. Trump wins, and a dog whistle is blown that is heard by every rich/tone-deaf asshole in the world. I'm hoping for a "blue wave" next month. Failing that, I'd settle for a group of women pummeling Sen. Hatch in a malfunctioning elevator. Should I start watching the Weather Channel now? I might need to after seeing the clips. Also, I'm hoping Sean Hannity's instructors have been teaching him all the wrong moves in the martial arts they teach him.

Typical TVB episode . . . at the core is two men declaring their friendship for each other, ready to sacrifice their identities instead of advancing themselves. Surrounding that? Hank in Purgatory, Sgt. Hatred being Sgt. Hatred (re: not having anyone care about his development), Hank running away from home, and Monarch finally finding out Rusty is his brother. Oh, and Brock killing a Guild blackout team. Killing sooooooooo many of them. He's probably been dreaming of an epic spree for the last few seasons. He also probably took selfies with the corpses and sent them to Warriana. Naturally, a Guild promotion ceremony is built on pomp, circumstance, and general insanity. Nothing like hearing a Greek chorus ring out, "Oh, no, he didn't!" Nice bit with Monarch finally being able to kill Rusty once and for all. And he didn't do it. I get it . . . without Rusty, whom would Malcolm play "Cat-And-Also-Cat" with? Kinda sad to see Dean slowly pour his heat out to a comatose Hank. Also, he did give his virginity to Sirena, so last week's climax wasn't a Three's Company-style misunderstanding. Nice that Hank decided to go out like Liam Neeson at the end of Darkman. Since he's Hank, he wore a Batman mask. Hey, no one had he had to grow up all at once? I got a huge laugh at him trying to seduce the Wampa. Apparently, he's seen Billy Dee's Colt 45 commercials. Well, I guess we wait for mid-2020 for the next season, and a lot of threads are still loose. There's a good possibility Archer might be ending, so we still have need of a continuity-heavy animated series that gives a fuck and doesn't at the same time. Final T-Shirt: Guild Tenning. Is Charlie Sheen with the Guild now?

Great episode. They showed it at the Hulu Theater in Manhattan for New York Comic Con, with Jodie dropping by. I . . . did not go. I did all four days of the show, I wanted to maximum time at the convention center, I was barely running on fumes. Yeah, it was a tough choice. I did pay money to see David Tennant, Alex Kingston and Matt Smith talked for about ninety minutes on Friday night, And I met Alex earlier that day. So I still have Whovian cred, yes? Yeah, this was better than "Deep Breath." Yeah, we had a functioning Doctor with minimal regeneration headaches (think Tom Baker in "Robot"), we got a lady that might as well have been wearing a wearing a red shirt the entire episode (RIP Grace; we can't have a companion with the same name with the same spelling as a prior companion, even if that companion only appeared in the movie), and I still don't get how the Doctor survived a massive fall. But it was a fun episode, even as BBCA insisted on bringing in commercials. I know that there's been criticism about a female Doctor . . . but it was bound to happen, especially after Missy, and Jodie Whittaker looks good in the role so far. And I like the idea of a full-on entourage for her, including two who are related to each other (yeah, I know, step-grandfather, but still). Creepy bad guy. Teeth in the flesh was a nice touch. "Tim Shaw"? Is that its real name? I also don't blame his quarry for kicking him off the crane. "YOU HAD NO RIGHT!!!" "Lady, he was gonna put me on ice! I had lots of rights!!" *rimshot* #rimshot? Nice ending. I hope there's a logical "out" for the team. I'd also like to see the new credits.

kidrobot has released a new line of Adult Swim blind box figures. I found that out today personally, and I wound up with two TVB figures. Take a look, along with a "Kawaii Doctor" I also picked up. Edited to include the link. And there’s more AS stuff from kidrobot.

That’s not actually Gritty, is it? I don’t think the Flyers would be good with their new mascot being brought in a few times for intense ridicule. Hey, you think John could get Conan O’Brien’s Masturbating Bear?

Question: is it less “special” that the advent of the wild card game means that division rivals can fight in the LDS?

I think that the Hokage’s duty is to protect the Hidden Leaf Village and all who live there. Given how much it looks to have evolved after Pain blew it up, that’s one hell of a job. However, there’s probably an unwritten rule that a Hokage cannot use ninjutsu or genjutsu to breeze through paperwork. This is why Shikamaru never wanted the job. Hes good with his job and kid.

1. I’m at New York Comic Con now, and they got an escape room. Your prize for winning? A basketball-sized Member Berry. I’ll have to show the pic of the Stan/Kyle cosplayers who had those. 2. Cartman learning a lesson would be secondary to how good it would feel to beat the snot out of him. Even if that feeling only lasts a minute, that would probably still be awesome.

Somebody wanted futuristic boxing? ?♂️

I’m thinking that the episodes are airing as how BBCA sees each Doctor’s popularity, with Nine and Twelve being at the bottom. I feel it’s been a good series. I do get flustered when thing get too damn epic. Seriously, I can’t explain the finer points of “The End Of Time.”

I meant “rewards.” And it’s “he.” ? Me reading through the forum: ”Wait, someone is bisexual? How could I miss . . . oh, one of the women is named ‘Bi.’ How could I forget?”

S13.E05: The Gang Gets New Wheels
Lantern7 replied to Ray Adverb's topic in It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Good episode, lots of callbacks . . . like Frank denying and one-upping his kids, and Dennis going into Deranged God Mode. Except that wasn't him, that was Dee. On the bright side, herattempt to break another woman has her banging the kid by accident. Nobody gives a shit about Dennis' situation before this season. Seems legit, at least for those four. And, of course, Mac and Charlie have to deal with the guy who stole their bikes, whose kid stole Mac's bike. And we end up with tweens getting their asses kicked, which works for this show. Luckily, Dennis gets his Range Rover (the last one being destroyed by a rocket), Frank and Dee get rescued from their plot, and all is right with the world. -
I can see how people would say the series is slipping. I don't really agree with it, but I think "molesting priests" registers as "dropping hand grenades in a barrel full of fish." But I should (heh) count my blessings. Nobody pooped out of their mouth, right? Thankfully, Maxie was basically the straight man. No telling half-lies, no buggering women in a confessional (that would lead to Cartman being the moral center of South Park), and no killing people and blaming it on pirate ghosts (ghost pirates?) Nope . . . just a target of lame jokes that got befriended by the one person in the town that would always have a heart. Except when he's Professor Chaos. But Butters did break that out for Maxie, and Maxie didn't seem to mind. We end up with everyone in town up in arms because they lost their target of ridicule, and the kids hate Butters' new friendship because, c'mon, who has a priest for a friend? Orel Puppington comes to mind, but it's been ages since Moral Orel. And thanks to Butters having a heart, Craig and Stan get stripped and thrown into a van along with him, tied up, and forced to act as bait by the true evil of the Church. With their cleaning devices and Cumboni. Low-hanging fruit, but rather sweet regardless.

Back to "X-Men Without X-Men." Right now, it just feels like building toward a far bigger moment, with a few sweet moments sprinkled in . . . like Marco shining the Love Signal for Lorna and her kid. Did the kid get a name yet? Can't take Andy seriously. Awesome powers, not much else development. The bit where he and his sister are having some sort of prophetic dream is weird, though. Or maybe they know exactly where their plot will go. Disintegration touch for Reed? Not bad. And with all the shit his father came gave him, I can imagine all that power backed up and slowly killing him, to the point where it will be epic when the power is released. Well, it should be epic. I like The Gifted, but I'd have to rank it average at best, without the bugfuckery done by Legends of Tomorrow and Gotham. And The Flash will take higher priority for me next week.
