90DF Live Chat 3: I Gave Up Everything To Be Here
Baltimore Betty replied to Frozendiva's topic in 90 Day Fiancé
Little does Alina know that her life with SteVen will be fraught with unhappy conversations about being a good Mormon, explaining her facial expressions and telling him not to put a fork in the toaster. -

Why do all these chuckle heads profess that they are giving up everything to be with "fill in the blank" none of them seem to have much to begin with, this goes both ways, I could see if one of them was a lawyer or doctor and move to another country and cannot practice abroad, SteVen is giving up a large stuffed bear in a windowless basement room in his parents house and not much else. -

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
Baltimore Betty replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
Chipotle cook starts the commercial "The kitchen is the heart of business," or something like that, he squawks it twice, ugh. Amy Poehler squawks at the end of the commercial "This is work, this is hard," ugh. My mute button works over time. Ugh. -

She also serves as a cautionary tale too, her girls seem like nice people. @JonnieUniteUs are you Johnny Unitas fan? If you are he use to have court time the same time my mom played (indoor club), he was always on the next court, such a gentleman and a great football player. -
She overpaid...could have shopped from a catalog like Venus and gotten a dress just like it, just as unflattering and way cheaper. Geeze, when rich girls don't dress well, if I can pull myself together for events why is it so hard for her to do? I am lumping everyone but Crystal and Dorit in to the array of hideous fashions for the reunion. My only comment about Crystal's dress is it is not very interesting, it is pretty and it looks great on her but does not have the wow factor. Garcelle's mini dress will be a challenge to sit and not show the lady bits to the camera man...she learned nothing from Erika and her upskirt issue, lol. I know! I remember one of the reunions two of the HW's were wearing identical shoes, I cannot remember which city it was.

I cannot mute that commercial fast enough. -
Kyle, oy vey, that dress is terrible, she has cleavage where her belly button should be, does she realize she has to sit in that dress? Erika must have pissed off Mikey again, that dress looks so cheap, Sutton too, the length highlights her skinny legs and the fabric looks cheap, I am sure it is some designer and it was costly. Also, Sutton is wearing Ramona Blue, lol. Garcelle is very glittery isn't she. Rinna looks intense. Kathy, all the money in the world and she has a closet full of dowdy dresses, the color is good on her. Dorit's dress is nice, nothing crazy like some of the things she has worn, this was the safe option. Crystal's dress is flattering, is she extra tall, heels not withstanding? Dresses aside will Andy ask the hard questions or lob softballs to the all the women like he usually does?

Say Yes To The Dress - General Discussion

I think she thinks she would be noticed from SYTTD, like the next Kardashian. Frankly I thought she was trans, not that it is an insult but I thought since she was such a try hard I truly thought that. She is kind of a bitch. -
S13.E09: Could this be love?
Baltimore Betty replied to Emma Snyder's topic in Married At First Sight
You just described my Saturday night with my husband this weekend, I don't need to go to an upscale restaurant every date night, it's nice but being together watching The Wedding Singer is fun too. Myrla is all about optics. Gil will get tired of trying to entertain and adore her. -

I do think it is odd that she says Brooks is trying to figure out his sexuality, not sure there is to figure out, he wears tinted lip gloss and was grossed out by the idea of seeing a vajayjay, why can't she do the math? -

Nothing wrong with a country club Bat Mitzvah, lol, G-d likes a good pig in a blanket too! I think she might have gotten a little work done because her eyes most certainly did not look like that on the show or she has the most amazing makeup artist or is really good at photoshop. -
Say Yes To The Dress - General Discussion
Baltimore Betty replied to Rhondinella's topic in Say Yes To The Dress
I just had to find a new gyno, mine retired and I had been going to him for 33 years...I tried to get in to see a popular female doctor but no appointments open for months so I went to a male doctor in the practice, I liked him, I will see him once a year, don't care about his gender...how ever in a non medical situation I would not feel comfortable about some random male sales person in a VS dressing room with me, just odd to me that VS tried to sell that option. Even Randy steps out of the room when a bride tries on a dress. We had a Lohman's store in town, it was a communal dressing room, I could take the old ladies in their long line bras and girdles but it annoyed me that some people have perfect butts, lol. -

Count me in, I love Torchy's Taco's! They use to be just a food truck but now a walk in restaurant, the menu seemed more interesting when they just had a truck but so good anyway. Gil may want to save going out for a special occasion, he may worry that if going to an upscale restaurant on a random Tuesday might not seem so special for a birthday. He has to bend a little but I get how he feels money aside. Myrla could try for a month of not going out and see how much money she would save, they could meet in the middle and compromise, sometimes that is what a good relationship is about but I guess they should get the intimacy thing worked on before they worry about restaurants. Gil might be able to be talked in to going out more if while at home they were, you know,,,knocking boots, Myrla has got to grease the skids a bit, they can each get what they want to some degree. -

I encountered a male sales associate at Victoria's Secret a few years ago, I am a very libral person but I just wasn't comfortable with him sizing me, I wonder who thought that would be a good idea? -

That is my thought, this girl is ripe for the woe is me relationship. -
I've been to Pasadena and it is lovely, did not realize the weather could be deadly. Erika flipped out in Tokyo when her son was brought up, teeth bearing, nasty, crying flip out but now casually mentions her son flipped his car five times, it was such a "meh" moment for her, I find that strange, she should have been more emotional about it to sell that lie convincingly.

When Malia asked about his shaking he said PTSD but is shaking might have had something to do with all the empty cans of Red Bull in front of him. -
If Sutton was smart she would just let Erika be, let her tell all the wild tales she wants and sooner or later people will all see the truth about the lies and see how much BS Erika has been spewing. In the end Erika will look like a fool to everyone. PK was trying to be nice and give Erika an out for the all the stories she was telling, Tom didn't control her during the marriage at all, she was shaking her money maker and patting the puss every chance she got, she even went international with the act in Greece, a controlling husband would not allow any of that or pay for it. So what he told to zip it once during a conversation he was trying to finish a thought. Kyle's salmon looked good, not burnt at all, lol.

I am sure Mary was telling her congregants that if they gave her more money the pandemic would end sooner and that it was G-d's will to let certain people get sick and die and that sending her their dollars would ensure them good health...nothing about how they should all get vaccinated or wear masks. -
Garcelle had too many bobby pins in her hair, I did not get it as a fashion statement, she should have taken a page from Dorit and used the sparkly kind with words on them because Garcelle's looked haphazardly stuck in her hair. Some of the names of the bridal dresses were stupid but the dresses were pretty. The party needed either more people or music of something, it was so stagnant. Dorit changes out of "The Woman," wedding dress and changes in to a 1980's prom dress complete with crumb catchers. Kyle wondering who puts mayo on salmon, there are a ton of recipes for just that.
