  1. Dear Netflix, Please give Trish Walker a giant bottle of red pills (and some blues to bring her back down), then give her her own show. Sincerely, Everybody
  2. As much as I love to make fun of Noah - that scene of his handwriting made me very sad. It does look like the writing of a small school child. Billy & Ami aren't much better than the Duggars when it comes to schooling...
  3. Just chiming in to say (like several above me) - I appreciate each and every one of you who is still watching and posts on this board. I made it thru the first two episodes of this season - and at some point during the second episode realized that I just couldn't any more with these people - they are BORING. heh. But I do love to log on here to see what is going on with the crazy Browns - well, I love to see you all gnash your teeth about them, your descriptions and reactions are so much better than the damn show! I MAY cave and watch the catfish episode. If you look on the TLC site, there is some sort of first look on the Friday before (I don't think was mentioned before apologies if it was). I'll only watch because like everyone else, I am more interested in how they are going to SPIN it - I already know what happened. :)
  4. Except for Robyn's younger girls. :( They are going to be crushed (I can only imagine, as many of you already have, the gaslighting that is going on behind the cameras). But the adult Browns\TLC don't really care that this will hurt them.
  5. ChicksDigScars, thank you for responding as someone who has been there - maybe there are circumstances where it might be good to bring the kids in at some point - and in your case, I also see how confusing it is for the kid, either way :( I think what is sad is that with the Brown klan - I don't think they even did a basic Google search, spending five minutes to find out that ultimately they will most likely need for Jessop to relinquish his rights. W/out knowing if an adoption is even a possibility, they brought the kids into the discussion. Maybe - after laying the groundwork, speaking with lawyers, and seeing if there is a chance - THEN it might have been a time to broach the subject... it also brings to mind (albeit on much less serious matters) how disbelieving the older Brown children were when discussing their parent's plans - it was obvious that the Brown adults are very accustomed to promising the kids things that simply never happen. And btw - you never have to start any post with 'not that I'm defending' any of the Browns. None of us here have that ability. :)
  6. During the 'previously on' or 'coming up on' scenes (so much is rehashed\repeated on this show it could have been either one), there is the scene where Kody asks Robin's kids if they want him to adopt them. Any reasonable, decent, caring, thoughtful parent would never EVER NEVER broach this subject with the children without having final paperwork in hand. Those poor kids will then be crushed. I hate the Brown parents.
  7. I wish they would stop jerking me around! Hmmm.... they are 'looking' for a writer. Still sounds wishy-washy...
  8. "THE OTHER PORT!" I think that pretty much sums up Josh's abilities as captain.
  9. My brother thinks a show like Deadliest Catch makes a very dangerous job even more dangerous- he is afraid that the guys will 'play to the camera' and do stupid stuff. I want to think that Keith putting his crew into the skiff - just to watch the Super Bowl - was an example of this. But honestly - I really believe they would have done that, cameras or no cameras! It was insane to watch that tiny boat bounce up & down when it was next to the Wizard - I TOTALLY would have backed out at that point... I'm really surprised no one got hurt during loading. Glad they didn't! I was loling when the motor went out - and the guys were trying to row with their arms...
  10. Yeah, I had insomnia earlier this week, and saw the repeat was on (2 or 3 am?) so i thought eh, why not, I'll watch. I didn't even make it 10 minutes, it was sooooo boring and fake.
  11. NEGirl - I have addiction living breathing right next to me, in my own home. I meant no offense. What I DO object to - is my belief that Discovery is enabling Jake right now. I have my own problems with enabling, so it hits me rather hard (coming at it from another angle so to speak). Do you think it is a good idea for Jake to be on tv right now? i am asking from the heart. I believe the worst place for him right now is back on tv, rather he is sober or not. That is just my opinion, I would be interested to hear what you think about it (seriously). I was having a bit of a laugh at the show Intervention - a show that I love and think has done a world of good! I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, and I apologize if it went over the line on that part.
  12. Sig starts the meeting. "Jake - there's a bunch of people here who love you like crazy. They're gonna say what they wanna say, you say what you wanna say, then we're done". Josh begins reading his letter "You're drug use has affected me in the following ways ..." Edgar butts in "Honey, I WAS you!"
  13. Sigh. Jake on the CM. That... is not good news. (AFTER Jake has been sober for a few years and kept off the t.v. - I might welcome seeing him back on, just for a bit. But not now. Too soon. This is not good for the show OR Jake. Bad decisions all the way round. Disappointed in the show.) :( How soon before Elliot is back too? argh. This is one of the FEW reality shows that I feel mostly 'keeps it real' (yeah I know there are shenanigans - but I still had hopes that they would NOT have Jake back on this quickly - I was just fooling myself.) This is the same group that thinks the Bait is better than After the Catch.
  14. Ah, I blame it on too much ambrosia. You all are right, the eps I was thinking of - she is still 'in' them, but only for a minute or two... :)
  15. Yup - there weren't many - but there were a few where I believe she did not appear - at all.... sorry I can't think of the names of those eps, I have wiped them from my memory!
  16. It has already been said - but A Day In The Life is absolutely perfect. I have seen it probably... 20 times? And it NEVER fails to disappoint. It was funny in a real way - the complete opposite of many of their attempts at 'comedic' episodes. And it wasn't just funny, the story was great. Other faves that I remember ... One Against an Army. Callisto. Intimate stranger. Destiny. The Debt. Ah heck, more faves than not I'm thinking! At least thru the first 3 seasons.... oh the wars that used to break out in the forums over when exactly the show lost its mojo... lol.
  17. Did the writers really just have Mr. Lyle make his confession OFF-SCREEN? Oy vey. Or did I miss something?
  18. I can't STAND it when Chip tells Agnes how to shoot\hunt\fish\do stuff (uh, Chip, I think she knows). I also hate that the production company focuses more on him than her - she is SO much more interesting... their kids are wonderful. Hopeful that Sue is alright and can come back to her 'home' - could not stand her at first, but have grown to absolutely love seeing her each week - she is one tough bird. I like the young love-birds, but they kinda bore me a little :) Hate the trapping :( (I don't have problems w/ hunting if you can make a quick kill - which is why I hate trapping). But still love watching these folks do their thing. See you next season LBZ!
  19. I'm not in Boo's demographic - I have an honest question - would someone like Boo really be able to pull the type of women she was shown with? I only ask because a trope I HATE in teevee\movies is the drop-dead gorgeous model type woman with the not hot man (sans a LOT of money\power lol)
  20. The most horrific sight on this weeks Penny Dreadful? Malcolm without his beard!
  21. you are so right about Jake and Josh behaving badly! It was embarrassing for them. And Scotty's prank - he should have left it at 1 flour bomb and an extra length of rope- it was just too much (as others have noted). Or was that just his way of saying 'thanks for FIRING me?' heh. btw - I sometimes have the show on while doing other things- I can only vaguely recall 'why' Scotty got canned - was he was asking for some of the TB quota? eh? Can someone refresh my memory on 'why'?
  22. I don't blame the 48 hour delay on the dead-loss - Jonathan was already 4 days over the 'normal' living time BEFORE he even headed back to dock. Even w/out the offload delay, he can only blame himself. Which I think he did. I actually think that was his reaction (internally) when he got the call there would be a delay - I read that more as 'ah hell, I'm f***ed already, what's another 2 days'?
  23. I am thrilled. I love the show, and the 'the FBI found the bug' storyline has absolutely kicked things up a notch IMHO.
  24. The interview with Jeff was ... odd. Something seemed very off with Katie, although physically she did look much better - she even said 'physically I feel amazing'... but then they never went back to how she was doing mentally\emotionally. She seemed very off during that meeting. And then two days later - she relapses. I don't think she will make it. But then... they show Allison. Who I NEVER thought would get clean. And look at her now - you go girl! That was the best part of the episode. Me and my friend at work spent HOURS analyzing the original Allison episode, and yes, of course, making fun of it. Which makes us not good people, I know. But I was so happy to see her happy and CLEAN.
