There is nothing worse than those stupid heel stretches and tilts especially if a crotch is to the audience. If you want to display flexibility and control, do a slow développé or penchée or a lovely grand battement. So, I watched this week's AfterBuzz... (only out of pure curiosity - hangs head in shame) Abby, Kalani, Nia, Kendall, Maddie, Mackenzie and JoJo all guested the whole thing - and wow, what a different impression one gets seeing them together in a candid fashion. It was happy happy happy, everyone smiling and joking and sincerely seeming to have a wonderful time. It seems that there will be an AUDC Australian edition taped this spring, I guess when the taping for this show goes on hiatus? Also, in this AfterBuzz Abby says some things that actually lead me to believe that a lot of the "ethnic" choices foisted on Nia may have been production monkey shenanigans. I of course do not want to believe any of this, lol, but there you have it!

I don't think it is either, with the venues and other expenses for the fake competitions, travel expenses to move these kids everywhere... They don't have enough competitors at the fake invitationals to cover the costs like real competitions would, even though they charge admission to "viewers". These are mostly high schools they are performing at and there just aren't that many seats and you can tell they are teeny tiny by the small amount of kids sitting on the stage for awards. Which brings up another fascination I have with this show, what foolish studios bother to pay to be part of this shenanigans? I get it maybe a few years ago when there were those In10sity ones that weren't clearly fake yet - but now? When the pretense is gone? I remember when my lass was still competing one of the classy competitions openly poked fun at DM and told the audience that they would never stoop to allowing that kind of nonsense at their competition, no matter the compensation.

I actually like that live performance better than the Chandelier video, gotta say this here and now though, both Maddie and Franchesca seriously need to be wearing Boobeez under those nude leos!

There is utterly no excuse for Holly - it was clear that not a single one of these families needed the cash from this show from the get-go - it's all about the famewhoring. Melissa had to stay back at the ranch to keep the piggy-bank Greg happy, clear and simple.

I get what you're saying completely - but it's sad like watching the demise of Bill Cosby has been. When someone that you think a lot of and admire just falls apart before your eyes for whatever reason. Both though, are examples of really nasty people in the long run, in my opinion.

The spouse has had both replaced - and spent a good 4-5 days hospitalized for each of them even though he was told it would be a one or two day stay after the surgery. A lot of things have to fall perfectly into place to be released the next day, that said, my spouse reacts horribly to anesthesia and always gets fevers after having it. He's also had all manner of back and neck surgeries, treatments and on and on. Steroids make most people nasty and aggressive in my experience... especially if they are taken over the long haul. So, I saw an ad for today's show - and it totally featured Rosie! I wonder if tptb are finally catching on?

No mention of his bullshit "Uncle Sugar" statement last year either. He's so deceptive with his awe-shucks ploy because when he gets anywhere near his base, he's just nasty. His reference to Jay-Z as a pimp is so utterly racist on top of everything else. All that said, lol, last time he ran I donated to his campaign because I disliked McCain and thought that the Huckster would be easier to beat in a general election. Shhhhh.... no judging!

Most of what I've read - but then again this was all in the gossipy stuff so who knows, is that her contract goes through the next season and it's paid whether there is a season or not. I really didn't think that she could get worse than she was the week before they broke for the holidays, but this is getting beyond frustrating to just sad to watch.

@Landsnark, even though we were blissfully Joe-free (apparently his family is doing round two with the flu) it pretty much felt like I was watching FoxSnooze with a small exception here and there, like Bernie Sanders. It's like they decide editorially to do the opposite of whatever the night folks do just to be contrarian.

You know, this could explain a lot about her nastiness since the season started, if she's been on steroids for an extended period of time and they just recently upped the dose trying to treat her back more aggressively but non-surgically. Haven't watched the show since last Thursday, not sure I can make it through what sounds like a cringe-worthy affair from yesterday.

@Fisher King - whether or not to have a surgical intervention with a herniated or bulging disc is often considered "elective", treating bulging/herniated discs with steroids is pretty standard as it reduces swelling which takes pressure of the vertebrae/spinal chord and helps reduce the pain.

So the mayor of Paris is going to sue Fox News over the No-go zone nonsense, I hope that they name Bitsy as a co-defendant! Joy was on Morning Joe for the last half hour this morning, she rocked it. She'll be guest hosting the Leonard Lopate Show on Thursday.

The hypocrisy is a lot to take, when one of your relatives is heading off for 38 years due to said Rat. I make no excuses for anyone that is a criminal - I just think it's hard to follow the "code" when there is so much hypocrisy and rule exceptions. lol
