I need to back watch Empire from the beginning on demand, I do have it set to record now - will have to see if I can get through the on demand stuff to see if it's a keeper. Ashtin Roth will be with the CADC. She's most likely replacing McKenzie Morales, this past episode is the last time we'll see her - there was major drama between Bridgette and the Morales family the week the last episode taped. With Lucas, Gavin and McKenzie gone from CADC they needed practically to replace a whole new team. I think, that may have been why there were auditions again recently.

As we move on in the season - I have to correct something I posted in a previous episode's thread - Holly and Nia are in fact in Australia, my bad. It can be, yes. It's dependent on the competition; even at the highest level of competitions, there are a couple that are extra fee and separately "judged". I know I've mentioned in this forum before, but I used to tease my daughter and ask her if she wanted me to buy her a tiara. I've been at comps where intermediate level won title, only because no elite dancer entered.

National Title holder, which may or probably is not what you'd think of as the "champion", since it's this invitational Sheer Talent group. Title is usually a separate entry, and at most competitions it isn't the highest scoring soloist necessarily, it can be, but there's no guarantee of that.

I think Brynn in this video displays a lot more control, it's really hard to know for sure from a short bootie camp clip - since generally they learn the choreo quickly and then go in groups. Maybe we'll get to see the two do a duet before the season is over - that would give more clarity to the differences between them.

I agree, reactions to this are completely overblown, this is typical hyper teen/pre-teen behavior/talk, IMO. That said, I do think that perhaps Abby should have attempted to put a lid on it and certainly should not have furthered the pile on when neither JoJo nor her mother were there.

If her KYV tour also included career advice for disadvantaged women that would be excellent, heck they could do some sort of adjunct evening thing with classes on resumes and give away interview clothing. But, that is clearly not what this is, the 10k that she and Brooke Shields will decide about giving away will be based on the most compelling essay or whatever that will be written by a highly educated gal. Doing this the best way would be a win/win all around, but that's not what's going on here - it's an attempt to raise ratings.
