  1. @Padma most likely the best thing that came out of this season. He better be good to Kym, she's one of my all time favorites!
  2. Where is your evidence of this? That she left, I think that's incredibly presumptuous. And specifically it's no knock on Noah either. If you're a fan of Noah because of his service and his sacrifice you should understand the incredible emotional damage that so many veterans of the debacle in Iraq specifically suffer - over a lie mostly because they are so isolated and it was such a worthless and meaningless unmitigated disaster, whether they suffered from physical injuries or not. PTSD from this is the worst in history, PTSD is ugly and terrible, maybe you could read this article to understand it and the difficulty it presents in maintaining relationships. We don't know who left whom. I said this yesterday after I got over my anger about the proposal - maybe it actually is Noah that has been manipulated and exploited in all of this. But I'm not ready to start taking aim at his ex-spouses either. I feel terrible for him, but I am conflicted because true heroes that would invoke patriot honor usually are heroes for defending something that actually matters. Iraq, wasn't that.
  3. I think the producer that was fired was the one that was leaking all along - and I think we kinda went over this months ago.
  4. Funny recap of last night. Will this never end? I haven't watched yet, but I feel safe deleting it off the DVR without ever viewing.
  5. I mostly find that all Afterbuzz coverage of any show that I've watched it for are relatively useless because they are all mostly an exercise in ass-kissing and not a lot real "truth" gets told about anything. Just my experience and watching the Shirley and Corky hour pretty much confirmed my impression even though they said what I personally wanted to hear about Allison - which still doesn't change my mind about it's relative uselessness.
  6. Regarding Noah, nobody has to be at fault if terrible PTSD is present. I don't have any other reason for not wanting him the finale except for the fact that he reached his limitations weeks ago and has been heinously overscored when it probably wasn't necessary because he's always had a natural voting block. Which is why I hated the proposal, and it didn't matter if it was his first or his tenth marriage to me.
  7. She's actually "up to 135-140" after much "effort" to gain weight. She has an admitted eating disorder - but the fact that she's such a food nag on her show doesn't make me like her or appreciate her issues much. If she had her way - she would legislate what everyone in the country ate. This is all to say that she isn't wrong necessarily but she's incessant about it and I think it reflects her own personal food issues, and she never really addresses the issue of food deserts in poverty stricken areas except when a guest like Tom Colicchio is on.
  8. Except that I posted the question yesterday morning before most of that ripping apart had occurred, and the fact that they teased it at the start of the show. Ah, thanks @aguabella, when they teased it they said they were going to cover it with Michael Morell, but all they did was discuss his book. That makes sense since it seemed like Axelrod/Morell appeared to be intended to be "pundits" in the same segment.
  9. What is strange to me about Nastia is that I assumed that she was through with finals which was why she could be in LA focusing on dance with injuredDerek and Sasha but finals at NYU aren't until next week. Maybe she was allowed to take them early or given an extension for her classes this semester, and perhaps they worked that all out (NYU and Nastia) when she decided to take this on. Gotta admire her work ethic.
  10. Welp, I'm happy that Riker is through, I really wanted to see what Allison would do with a freestyle, and I couldn't be happier for her redemption arc. Chuckles, if I see the word "frenetic" applied to her choreography one more time I'll become more nauseous than Noah in the finals makes me. Speaking of one note... Rumer is as much a nothingburger one note of intensity for me as many accuse Allison and Nastia of being, though I love Val (but I love Derek too!) I know, horribly unpopular opinion. ;)
  11. Well Vanity Fair has a lot hits and misses with what folks consider "journalism" imho, I take a lot of this with a grain of salt as it seems a well written recap of a lot of gossip that has been circulating on the internet for years, most of it probably somewhat true - but I love RO despite her foibles, I can't come close to mustering that for Whoopi's huge EGO. What I adore the most about the piece is that it pulls no punches and gives no fucks about calling Jenny McCarthy out for exactly what she is no matter her claims that she's rethought it, an unabashed Anti-Vaccine Activist, which is precisely why I loathe the silly blonde.
  12. Seriously? I just couldn't watch. This is pathetic, Nastia by a million miles had the best night last night, America has no taste. But see, this is why I don't vote, so I can't complain.
  13. Perhaps this is largely my whole problem with Noah, and it really might not be his fault at all. I feel terrible for what he's been through and all for essentially a lie, perhaps the only one that was manipulated and exploited was Noah himself.
  14. This all loops back to Fox, ha, that's funny because wasn't laBits some kind of an art major? Tee hee, College Republicans, couldn't have been a Bitsy segment that requires the Campus Reform "reporters". "The orange stuff" to me is Delsym, and I think in any other form than the proprietary Delsym blend, dextromethorphan can be something that is abused, "rolling" or something like that and maybe that purple koolaid stuff that kids drink to get high? I'm old, and not up on my terms about all this stuff, lol. (eta: I was on the right track with cough syrup the purple stuff is Sizzurp - but that is prescription strength promethazine with codiene.) I completely agree with you you about parenting on planes, but I have to admit that Nintendo DS was a great tool as my kids got to the rowdy stage (before iPads or even affordable portable DVD players, really) but we always had a backpack chock full of fun with us. ;)
  15. 1. Why the manipulation with the proposal then, that's why it's disgusting to me. 2. Indeed.
  16. I did, two or three times which is why I posted about it, now that I watched a fifth and sixth time, I take back Mack - she did come forward - still don't see Kendall. I literally counted the bodies that came out with the names - someone else in an Abby Lee jacket came forward for Maddie.
  17. The neck rotation part - it always reminds me of my favorite ever competitive reality dance VW, where the judges commented about how difficult those moves are, I have no idea if that is true or not, it's just something that always reminds me of my favorite VW. My "ghost" memory had Erin referring to her that way - but apparently I was wrong.
  18. Oh well, I think this is a good idea. Better to know the danger than not. Ugh, Mika and her "know your value" tour is coming... it's such a bunch of utter baloney - given that Mika's "value" is all about her being submissive to Joe Scarborough and preening in front of the camera.
  19. Was it Benadryl? Ha "...as the mother of a two children with ADHD", this was the preferred method of avoidance of the real medication that might actually really help them in the 90s when you were in denial that your children actually might need ADHD meds; the problem with it is that it CAN BE paradoxical and then you have a psycho activated kid on your hands - that would be a treat on an airplane - NOT! (Or, give them caffeine in the morning or whenever because that too calms them...) Y'all are Sheroes and heroes for continuing to take it for the team! Raven sounds like a dreadful entitled hypocrite and Nicole? There are no words.
  20. All of this. Me too! Indeed. YUMMY! Don't agree, that got posted to YouTube, not done on national TV. But I'm the biggest tWitch and Allison fan on the planet, so there is that. All of this too! That happened a long time ago. I rewound and re-watched three dances, Riker's contemporary, Nastia's quickstep and the Len piece; the last being the only one that made me tear up. Good bye you cranky old fella, I sort of love you and you taught me a lot about ballroom dancing over the years! The Swan Lake thing was hideous and insulting to me but so Bruno, I could barely watch it through covered eyes. I actually might have appreciated it more if Bruno had been in it - because then the over-the-top awfulness of it would have made more sense to me, for me that was a big ole pile of "just no, don't even try to do this". I was also not a big fan at all of CAI's Paso, which was probably more a matter of my dislike of baloney viewer emotional manipulation; the troupe "boys" looked yummy though. I don't vote so I don't get a say in any of this, I gave up voting years ago because it made the inevitable loss of someone that I loved or the win of someone I couldn't really stomach anymore (Noah) harder to take.
  21. The Girl Scouts have a "GIRL POWER" tilt which fucking frightens right-wing men who then brainwash their little ladies that it's dangerous for girls to have any power. The truth leans "left", which is unfortunate for FukSnooze. Tee hee, no all women's colleges for her daughter, because you know, that would be DANGEROUS.
  22. @stormy - except that not in hindsight but in real time had Jeb been POTUS he would have found an excuse to invade Iraq prior to 9/11 (and I realize that he would have only had a few months to do this but that was a big part of the PNAC plan... and it wasn't about "daddy issues" it was all about OIL). Was I distracted or did they really not cover the Sy Hersch investigative report at all? It's pretty explosive...?!?!?!?
  23. @missbonnie, if you watch closely, Mack, Maddie and Kendall don't come forward when their names are called, Kalani does.
