Yep. Everyone had to queue at the check-in desk, whether you were checking a bag or not, and get a paper boarding pass. Just like the olden days before there were such things as electronic boarding passes or self-check-in.

The self check-in stations were all turned off when I was in the airport in July.

I would be quite surprised if TPTB didn't put together a short list of possible replacements when Alex first told them of his diagnosis. I also would be quite surprised if Mike Richards weren't on that list from the beginning. Kind of like how newspapers have certain obituaries ready to go -- they just have to add the correct date.

I did not get FJ tonight. And the only TS I got were Genesis and apricot.

I have to wait until the birds are finished nesting in my wisteria before I can prune it. So no pruning at all from about May until September. I mean, I guess I don't have to wait, but I'd rather not inadvertently render any birds homeless, and I definitely don't want to accidentally kill the babies!

Wheels do take up a lot of space, and add a lot of weight, too. All while reducing the capacity of the bag. But they are useful when you have a long slog through a giant airport.

Archive day for me for yesterday's game. I did get FJ, but the only TS I got was Steinway. I feel like I might have gotten cornet from the photo, but for some reason, I can't see the photos on the archive -- even when I click the link.

I decided to try to luggage cart route first. The one I ordered is inexpensive, lightweight, and hopefully folds down enough to fit in the outer compartment of my current bag. It’s on backorder, though, so it’ll be a couple of weeks before I can test it out.

It won't take them long to find you again!

This Joe Buck guy is so shouty! I'm tired of him already. I'm going to miss tomorrow night's game anyway, but I might just catch up on the archive instead of watching. Instaget FJ for me tonight. I also got the TS of lottery ticket, Cerberustler, and ribs. Matt is getting away with a lot more than I think he would have if Alex were still here -- at the very least, he'd be getting a lot of "Be more specific"s from Alex. I'm tired of Matt, too. What made Ken more bearable during his run was that his games were not all such blowouts.
