  1. I am all in! And in the theater, too!
  2. LeVar was fine, but that tie he had on was awfully wide.
  3. Instaget FJ for me tonight. That individual was the only person who made sense. I also got the TS of Met Life, sic, Olympia Dukakis, and col. I'd have to move to another state if I'd missed sic. Poor Patrick!
  4. Back from Iceland (fab trip!), and checked the archives just now. I am amazed to report that I got 5/5 with the asterisk, of course. Some of them were even instagets, despite the whole jet lag thing I have going on today.
  5. I thought Robin did a good job tonight. I will miss the rest of her episodes because I will be in Iceland! I'll record them, but no idea if I'll watch them when I get back or just check FJ from the archives.
  6. I got half of FJ instantly, but the other half came to me in plenty of time to write it down. Ishmael was the only TS I got, and it was a complete guess. I was shocked that I was right.
  7. Definitely from Wheel. And you had to spend as much of your winnings as you could, so nearly everyone ended up with a giant ceramic dog.
  8. Agreed! It kills me when they buy a vowel and waste their money. It also bugs me when they clearly know what the puzzle is, and they know it has several of a letter, but they pick a single letter when they land on a huge dollar amount. If you know the word is "happiness", and you land on the $2500 slot, don't pick "H"!
  9. 4/5 this week, with one asterisk.
  10. I initially thought Magna Carta, but changed to Gutenberg Bible in plenty of time to write it down. I hoped Tyler would stick around a little longer. Were there any TS in the first round? If so, I didn't get any then, but in the second round, I got Elton John Legend, American Beauty and the Beast, bangle, and medulla.
  11. Nothing specific initially, just a general irritation right from the introductions. Then the leaning, and the immediate jumping to the bottom of the category made significant contributions.
  12. Instaget FJ for me tonight, but then I had to re-read the clue to make sure I chose the correct character. I did. And I get an asterisk for it! Which is good, because I only got one TS -- Morpheus. And it doesn't hurt my feelings in the slightest that Andre did not win.
  13. Most of the produce in my grocery store has stickers with the code on it. Especially if there are multiple varieties, like with apples.
  14. A slow start for me, too, but I have hope that it'll get better.
  15. Instaguess FJ for me tonight. Animation, three characters, plus the year brought me to the correct response. Howl as a TS was surprising. I got that along with Cleopatra and Coogan. Seems like there weren't too many TS tonight. I thought the double double rhyme category was fun.
  16. I didn't get to watch last night, and don't feel like waiting until I get home from work to watch, so I checked the archives. I also said stapler, possibly because the spring on my work stapler keeps sproinging out. I really need a new stapler. It's more challenging for me to keep up with TS that I got, but I remember that I got Eclipse (no idea how, since I have never and will never read those books), and Miami.
  17. I really wanted to give George a throat lozenge. Otherwise, he was fine.
  18. I keep a pitcher of tap water in the fridge. The cold water straight from the tap isn't quite cold enough. But I can drink less-than cold water when I'm away from home. I do know people who drink bottled water at home, but the tap water in their part of the US tastes funny. It's fine for cooking and washing, but it's really not drinkable.
  19. Instaget FJ for me tonight. But I only got three TS -- decongestant, sedative, and benzene. I'd like to thank Young Frankenstein for sedative (though I knew it anyway). And not that it mattered in the end, but the woman in the middle should have bet zero.
  20. I rarely eat ice cream directly from the carton. I prefer to put it alongside a warmed-up, center-piece brownie.
  21. I've never actually heard of the Earl of Sandwich sandwich shops, but sandwich was the only thing that made sense to me in the context of the clue.
  22. I had a job applicant once upon a time who said she’d worked in healthcare and was familiar with “HIPPA” regulations on her application. She did not get an interview — not just for misspelling HIPAA, mind you, but that didn’t help. And for today’s peeve — the Fourth of July was last week. Stop with the bloody fireworks already!
  23. Somehow, I made it to 4/5, after missing Monday's.
  24. FJ was almost an instaget for me, though I left off the article completely. I got the TS/missed DD of Sandwich, Burlington, and Gloucester. I said Salt Lake for that clue, but didn't say Salt Lake Valley -- do you think I would have been ruled correct? Or asked to BMS? Brolin definitely needed a BMS.
