  1. Thank you for sharing the photo album. Adorable puppy, and handsome grown-up. We're here if you need us.
  2. Definitely did not waste time watching Sayid. I would have watched an hour of just Sayid standing on the beach and not think it was a waste of time.
  3. It's all in how she says, "Judy?" I laugh every time, too.
  4. I've seen community theater and college theater productions that had a better Mrs. Lovett than Helena was. But I totally agree that Angela's version is the gold standard.
  5. I call bullshit on this one. No way, no how was Helena Bonham Carter the best choice for Sweeney Todd. Tim Burton did an abominable job casting that movie.
  6. 2/5 this week. Started and ended badly, but that middle bit was okay.
  7. I knew as soon as I saw the FJ category that I would not get FJ, and I was correct. I had no clue. I didn't get any TS, either. Not my best night. And no, Mike, we won't see you Monday.
  8. He got my hopes up for a few minutes there! Too bad he recovered. I spent most of the FJ think time trying to figure out how old Malala was in 2009, and if it could be her, and in the end, just said, "Guess I'll go with Malala." I was a little surprised that I was correct. Kit Carson! Our mascot! The only TS I got was January.
  9. Well, with Trigg and Todd no longer in charge, they can go back to just picking up the gold from the river. Everyone’s rich again.
  10. The fight was great. And we finally got to see where the "Benny in a barrel" from the opening sequence came from. Clearly Zeke needed to be drunk, or at least think he's drunk, to be able to dance. Going through the seven deadly sins was a nice touch, I thought, even if Envy was a little weak. Definitely not as good as the second season (I still haven't seen the first season), but if they go for #4, I'm in.
  11. At last! An FJ that I knew, and it was an instaget. Whew! And I finally heard Mike's lisp, when he read the category title, "Famous Families". No idea why I don't hear it as obviously at other times. But I did not get any TS. I might have zoned out a little, though, when Matt got the first DD, then un-zoned for FJ.
  12. I once offered someone my earbuds because their phone was so loud. As in, "I have some earbuds I'm not using. Do you want them?" I didn't overtly complain or give the person reason to get annoyed or upset with me, but I did get my point across, and they turned down both the offer of earbuds and the volume on their phone. Passive-aggressiveness for the win!
  13. I foolishly did not pay attention to the year in last night's clue, and so missed FJ last night too. Really not off to a great start this season! I didn't get any TS, either. So close, middle guy! Maybe tonight will be the night. I'm more than ready for a new champ. I'm more than ready for a non-runaway game, for that matter. That was the thing about Ken -- not all his games were complete blowouts like James' and Matt's.. I tried to hear Mike's lisp, but couldn't with yesterday's show. I'll try again tonight.
  14. I wasn't sure about this when I first heard about it, and I still might not be sure it's necessary, but damn if that trailer doesn't suck me in. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
  15. Well, I'm off to a bad start for the new season -- did not get FJ, and not because I was too specific. I pretty much just randomly picked one of the 13 colonies. Well, 12, because I eliminated Massachusetts. The only TS I got was Whiskey A Go-Go. And when BR came up, I said Baskin-Robbins! And then read the whole clue and knew I was so very wrong. I'll have to pay more attention tomorrow to the backdrop, but I don't like the new arrangement for the theme song. (I don't like what they've done to Wheel's music, either, but that's neither here nor there.)
  16. I have a Scottish friend who smuggles haggis back to the US in her checked suitcase on a regular basis.
  17. We'd do that with Bugles -- put them on the ends of our fingers like crazy fingernails and bite them off. I miss Galaxy chocolate. I don't even like milk chocolate for the most part, but I love Galaxy milk chocolate -- Minstrels in particular. I am a dog lover, and that would piss me off. I'm not a fan of animals on the furniture, and definitely not of anybody's feet on food surfaces.
  18. I’m sure there are plenty of alternate racers who will gladly be vaccinated for the opportunity to run the race.
  19. You should still report to the police or animal control so they're aware of the situation because the next people will have the same issues, and it would be good to have a record of the incidents.
  20. I don't think that's how that works, either.
  21. Report, report, report. Report it to the homeowner's association (if there is one), or to the landlord if you rent, and by all means, report it to the police. If nothing else, the other dog owner should be responsible for your vet bills.
  22. There is also j-archive.com for missed clues.
  23. To be fair, Hugh Grant doesn’t actually fire Natalie. He has her reassigned in an effort not to take advantage of the boss/employee relationship. She still has a job, just not working directly for him.
  24. I LOVED this movie! Way more than I expected to. A little Lego Movie, a little Truman Show, maybe a little Matrix thrown in for good measure, but I thought it was a lot of fun. Definitely laughed out loud at Cap’s “What the shit?”, and Guy’s Hulk hand and light saber. I was a little bit mad at Keyes’ buddy for rebooting the game, but he redeemed himself in the end, I guess. I would absolutely watch it again.
