And of the top 10 there, how many even existed like 2-3 years ago? Four of them?

That's not what I saw this time around. She did want him, and he was aware of that, so he was "deciding" between her and Britt. She's irate because he came to her and said "well, I chose you, but, since Britt got there first, I was going to let her have a goodbye fuck. It seemed like the gentlemanly thing to do, but, it didn't completely happen, since your call interrupted it, sooooo.....want to make out?" Any woman with an ounce of self-respect would be pissed at that. (Which leaves Britt out.)

Especially if he didn't have any marijuana on him when he was caught with that prostitute.

I think that, with football players, they're getting that smoke blown up their asses from a very young age, though, relative to someone like a CEO. If you're good enough at football to be in the NFL, the odds are that your talent was noticed while you were still in your mid teens (or earlier). So your formative years were spent with you being taught that you can do no wrong, because you're good at football. (And this is going on to a lesser extent in other sports, as well, but football is practically a religion in large portions of the country). A CEO likely wasn't getting that kind of treatment at that age, unless they grew up really well off and were allowed to get away with murder because their family was wealthy (AKA the "affluenza" kid). I'm not, by any means, excusing the NFL players, not by a long shot, but the high number of them behaving in this manner is likely because, at ages when it really should have been hammered home to them that they are responsible for their own actions, they were surrounded by those who were willing to excuse any level of abhorrent behavior because of their football skills.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, but did Caroline get a ribbon around her finger? -
Cupcake dress. I assume it has about 1,000% less moob sweat and hair grease on it. Would you rather kill Sam or marry Sonny?

I'd counter that she did love Ric, and she certainly cared enough about AJ to be dating him for a while before they had sex. (And their relationship not succeeding is due to the character destruction of AJ Ron decided to engage in, so who knows what could have happened there if Ron hadn't gotten bored with having SK back). She hasn't been in a relationship with Nik to have sex with him. However, she recently made it clear to him that she was interested in having that relationship, and he was deciding between her and Britt. So then he basically said "well, I choose you, but who was I to turn down the offer of one for the road when Britt was standing right there? But, did I mention, I choose you? It would have meant nothing beyond getting my rocks off with the woman I was previously engaged to who stole my sister's baby. So, how about it?" I'm going to take a pass on feeling bad that Liz hasn't flopped on to her back for poor Nik yet.

I think that's definitely it - that they're coddled at a young age if they're good at football. Look at stories from various parts of the country of football players at the high school and college levels being accused of sexual assault and how many people want to let them slide on it (to the point of harassing their victims) because they're good at football and the team needs them. When the culture around football gives guys that kind of pass, it's not shocking that some of them grow up to believe that they are untouchable and can behave however they want. I don't understand that mentality at all. I mean, I love my team, I want them to win, but I also want them to be people I can really root for without feeling sick to my stomach. I'd be disgusted if my team signed on guys like Vick, Roethlisberger, or Rice (to name a few). I know people like to say Cutler's an asshole, but I'll take a guy who's aloof and doesn't like dealing with the media (and who can blame him there?) over men who kill dogs and assault women any day.

That would almost make me miss SBu's Jason. Watching him stand their blinking while MS chewed up every last bit of scenery would be hilariously awful. -

I'm glad it's not Melissa Archer playing her. She's more than done her time in the hell that is being ME's love interest. -
She knew Zander was Cameron's father.

I'm guessing Roger's decision on whether to reinstate will largely come down to how good and/or popular the player in question is. If Brady were to smack Giselle on two different instances, he'd do his year and get back in. If some bench player who nobody cares about does it, he'll be done. So, if you want to abuse your significant other a couple times and still be able to play, make sure your jersey sales numbers are good.

Especially if she told him it was a girl and didn't try to prevent him from spending time with the glove. That glove could be old enough to graduate college, and he would still have no idea.
-
Nice to see he pulled his head halfway out of his ass. But a "lifetime ban" that can be appealed for reinstatement after one year? Does not compute.

I'm still not seeing any chemistry between Brad and Lucas, no matter how many days they spend in bed. Brad still skeeves me out. -
She's pregnant with a baby glove? I now have all these scenes of crazy Nina taking care of a little glove in a baby bonnet in my head.

I think Wyatt falling in love with Hope was just another take on Steffy falling in love with Liam. Steffy fell for Liam after he saved her from drowning in the bath tub, right? Well Wyatt fell for Hope after kissing her back to consciousness when she fell and knocked herself out. I don't think it gets much deeper than that on this show. -

I think there may be a small element of that now, but he was also really into Hope before he found out he was Liam's brother. I also think that, in some weird way, Wyatt thinks he can "have it all" - that he'll remain happily married to Hope, and he'll also be "one big happy family" with Bill and Liam. He's a bit like his mother that way. -
Wait, so... Nina's pregnant? Is this time with Silas not the only time she's had sex since waking up from her coma? And is it not, literally, the morning after? That's not how this works, Ron. I watched that preview of Liz slapping Nik more than once. More than twice. OK, fine, more than five times. How he hasn't been slapped before this is beyond me. It's like Ron said "now, Liz/Nik was really gross the first time. How do we measure up to that?"

Well you just satisfied my idle curiosity. DirecTV lost all the local network feeds yesterday, and I wondered if it was the parade or B&B that I didn't see during the 12:30-1:00 period. If I remember my Liam/Hope mishaps correctly, This was when Steffy had left town after finding out she (probably) couldn't have more kids, so Liam, naturally, waffled back over to Hope, who went to the cabin by herself to think things over, where she came across naked Wyatt while hiking. This. I'm a relatively new viewer, and even I know the extent of Ridge's epic waffling, just from headlines in the soap mags. Hope's had a ringside seat, you'd think she'd want better for herself. I'd love to see her have some dawning realization that, if she went back to Liam, she could end up down the road like her mother - Ridge is be-ribboned to Katie, but he still insists on trying to control Brooke's love life. And it takes zero imagination to foresee Liam being the same way 20 some years down the road. -

I could see Heather telling everyone and nobody believing her. It'd probably be a Friday cliffhanger of Heather telling Michael, and then Monday we'll come back to Michael telling her she's crazy and leave his family alone. The real question is, why hasn't Johnny gotten word to Michael yet? You know he knows what really happened. -
I'm sure Ron is patting himself on the back for another "great use of history."

I'll be disappointed if any annulment scenes don't involve Wyatt insisting "we consummated like bunnies!" -
Jesse is a total dog and all, but (knowing nothing of any of the three of them until now) Lucy is the one I disliked more. So I enjoyed her rejected face when he picked Christy. And does anyone buy her "concern" for Christy in her exit interview? I laughed thinking of her reaction watching last night when he couldn't even remember her name. I'm totally confused as to what happened with the three of them after seeing the previews for next week. It definitely seemed like there was a threesome, but Christy telling him in the preview that she knows what he did with Lucy makes me think that the Lucy hook up happened apart from the one with Christy, and she's pissed to find out that he slept with both of them in the same 24 hour span of time. Side note: Is Jesse really the only guy there just trying to hook up with as many women as he can? All these other guys are slipping into couples ASAP. Kind of surprising. Graham, honey, that was your body's fight or flight response kicking in. Trust it! I cracked up when even Chris (who was initially beaming like a proud papa when Marcus delivered his speech to Lacy) looked like "can we wrap this up now?" as that kiss dragged on and on. Michelle needs to get the hell out of her own head. It's just a silly photo shoot, no need to bring in the raccoon for a quick therapy session before putting on the damn wedding dress. Lighten up!
