As always, the Sinn marriage is solely about what Steffy wants and needs. Finn doesn't get to have needs or feelings that fall out of line with what Steffy wants. Finn can just never talk about his daughter again? He doesn't have a supportive wife who wants to listen as he works through his complicated feelings about all of this? Just like it was when he found out Sheila was his birth mother. He wasn't allowed any time at all to figure out how he felt about it. Steffy didn't offer to listen to him talk about his feelings. And, yeah, I get that Luna did something awful to Steffy. She's perfectly allowed to feel a certain way about finding out Luna is her stepdaughter. But, as far as she knows right now, Luna is locked up for life. She's not a present danger. She can't put aside her understandable animosity for Luna for 10 minutes to let Finn talk about how he feels about all of this? She's acting like she's this brave stoic heroine, fighting for her marriage, but the one who has to fight for it is Finn. Steffy just lays down the law, and he can either get with the program, or she'll pack p the kids and leave. Then we had Taylor talking about how awful it is that Steffy and Finn have to suffer all these attacks on their marriage. Um, excuse me? Were you literally not just over at their home, trying to pack up Steffy and the kids and telling her she needs to leave him, that he's putting her through too much? Oh, Hope, you were almost there. You noticed the connection between Pepe and Steffy, but then you abandoned that train of thought to focus back on fighting for your relationship with Carter. He is so not worth it. Nobody on this show is allowed to point out that it was Carter's plan all along. It is forbidden.

She came upon them right as the kiss was happening. She definitely saw that he didn't pull back, that he had his hands around Pepe's waist, that the kiss went on longer than an unwelcome kiss would go on.

Those scenes of Carly leaving and Brennan going after her would have been so much better with CM still in the role. It was a huge mistake to reveal that Brennan's plan coming to PC and getting close to Carly's family was to recruit Joss all along at the same time they had to recast. It really killed everything LW and CM had built in the pairing. Can we please just get to the full reveal on the Gio thing so we can all move on with our lives? They're giving Anna and Jason almost the exact same script as Britt/Jason, aren't they? Be prepared for them to bang at some point on this expedition to retrieve Charlotte, then Jason will have to break it to her at some point after they get home that he has to step up and marry Sasha for some ass backward reason. Don't give them ideas. She'll be the next Captain America. Whoever does kill him, Nina is going to get blamed for it.

Since, as far as the asshole trio over there knows, Luna is locked away in prison, most likely for life, who in the bluedilly fuck does Beige think her little princess needs protection from? Does she think Finn's latent genetic evil gene is going to kick in while Steffy is sleeping, and he's going to suffocate her with a pillow? I mean, I'm all for that, but it doesn't actually seem plausible, Ms. WRP. And Finn has put Steffy in danger already with Sheila and Luna? Um, shall we roll the tape? Here we see Steffy going off on her own, half-cocked, to confront Sheila in an alley. When Finn figured out what she was doing, he was the one who went running to stop her dumb ass, and he's the one who took the first bullet for his troubles. Now, we see Steffy following Luna, all on her own to confront her with her suspicions, ending up with the most fun this show has been in a while, Bitch in a Box. Once again, Finn had to figure out what trouble his dumbass wife had gotten herself into and run off to save her. At least that time, he didn't have to take a bullet for her. Oh, and let's not forget why it took so long for anyone to notice she was missing. When Finn informed Steffy that Hope kissed him (similarly to how Liam kissed Steffy, twice, which she STILL has not told him about), she blamed him and took off in a snit to go to her overseas mental health spa. Yep. Finn sure has dragged Steffy into all kinds of danger. Now we get to Carter. That asshole has the balls to stand there looking annoyed that Hope is upset about him kissing another woman and admitting that he's been getting emotionally close to that woman over the past few weeks? How dare she! Seriously, Hope, let Pepe have him. We all know it won't be long before he's completely thrown in with the cabal of "Hope did it!" assholes, who blame her for their every woe. That will be her reward if she forgives him for this.

Nobody is as good as pretending their own pasts never happened as that cabal of assholes. Hey, Ridge, remember when you almost banged the woman who you first thought was your daughter, then thought was your half-sister and eventually found out was your non-biological sister? And who was, through all of that, the daughter of your Logan? Or when both of your daughters slept with your brother, their non-biological uncle? Taylor, what has Finn done to Steffy, exactly? Be born? Had sex a good 20 years before he met her? And you asking Steffy to remember how Finn acted when he first found out Sheila was his birth mother is pretty rich. Do you remember how you acted when you found out Sheila was Finn's birth mother? Do you remember that it was you who encouraged Steffy to invite her over for the holidays? That it was you who became Sheila's friend and confidante? The way she kept going on about Finn, after she literally just spent an episode (which seems to be earlier this same day in their time) going on and on about how wonderful Finn is and how good it is to know how much he loves and protects Steffy. And I just laughed every time she told Steffy that she and the kids need to move in with her. Beige, you don't even have your own place. So far, Carter has admitted that Pepe kissed him. Is he going to admit how into it he was? I wish Hope had held onto the fact that she saw it for a bit longer, to see if he'd admit that he was an active participant in that kiss. And is he going to admit that Pepe has been flirting with him for a while now, and that he hasn't put an ounce of effort into establishing any kid of boundary with her? Please just dump his ass, Hope. Given the timing of everything right now - you know that Steffy is going to listen to her parents and leave Finn, and Hope should, at minimum, be taking some time to think about whether she wants to stay with Carter - it feels likely that we're going to get something like Hope and Finn running into each other while they're both out drinking their problems away, and they end up hooking up.

If Frank really does want to hold the role open indefinitely, and that goes on too long, they can always just have Carly/Sonny/Jason talking about how Michael met and fell in love with someone who works at the clinic and decided to stay in Germany. Of course, that makes everything else he should be involved with pretty anticlimactic, but it sure wouldn't be the first time that GH (or any soap) built something up and abandoned it. And for the Sasha's baby storyline, if they are going to have her and Jason fall for each other, it kind of works better for Michael to be gone a longer time so that Jason has been raising the baby for a decent chunk of time. More conflict there.

I'll probably be harping on this forever without the show ever delving into it, but this would be another opportunity for Steffy to finally have some issues with Taylor. She's telling Taylor she wants to stay with her husband, and Taylor is pushing her to flee. Let that bring up some unresolved anger for Steffy about how that's exactly what Taylor does every time things get tough. Or, if she does end up listening to Taylor and leaving, and it ends her marriage, let her get angry with her then. Taylor was going on about how Steffy and her kids are all that matter to her, and that was just a prime opportunity for Steffy to fire back with "if that's true, why do you keep leaving?" I think a big part of it, especially when Bill was the other candidate she knew of, was that Tom was a recently homeless guy who was working at a restaurant, compared to Bill Spencer. Given the retcon of how she has felt about her mother, looking at Tom and his life probably made her feel like having Tom as a father would just be more of the same.

Poor Hayes. His mother and crazypants grandmother are going to be watching him so closely, just waiting for him to show signs of wanting to murder someone. And Beige going on about "and you're just supposed to welcome them into the family?" First, Finn has nothing to do with Sheila now. Second, you want to talk welcoming Sheila into the family? OK, refresh my memory, who was it who returned to town after the Sheila is Finn's mother reveal and talked Steffy into inviting her over and letting her hold Hayes? Who was Sheila's BFF after that? Who practically had a love scene with Sheila on the hospital rooftop after she shot Finn and Steffy? Carter just sucks. He doesn't act like he sees a single thing wrong with kissing Pepe LePew. And he was an active participant in that kiss. Even after, he didn't say they shouldn't have done it, or even mention Hope's name. He should follow Pepe back to Paris. Luna, unknowingly, hit every single point that Finn has been obsessing over since he found out he's her father. TN is doing a good job with all of this. You could see that he was angry at the thought of Tom claiming to be his daughter's father.

Hope was with Liam well before Brooke and Bill ever got together. And, timing wise, Liam and Hope weren't together when Bill was married to Brooke. (I don't think Hope was even in L.A. when Brooke and Bill were married.) Liam was with Steffy when Brooke and Bill were married. Then Brooke and Bill divorced (over his obsession with that stupid building), and then Steffy slept with Bill after he and Brooke split. As for Finn, I doubt he and Hope even consider each other step siblings. Neither of them was raised by their married parents. And while Hope is close to Deacon now, Sheila is not a part of Finn's life. Now, Thomas, yes, they grew up together. But, Thomas went after her for years before she finally returned his interest. I think B&B is worse about this kind of thing than most soaps because, being a half hour soap, the canvas is even more limited, so characters who are around for longer than a few years end up sleeping with everyone in their general age range who they aren't biologically related to. That's probably why they toss Carter at everyone. He's not biologically related to anyone on canvas, so they can put him with anyone. It, of course, doesn't do the character any favors, because he looks like a fickle horndog most of the time.

Yep. Anyone with a few braincells would have thought to question why she feels so confident she can broker a deal between him and the Forresters. Put that together with her having shown up out of the blue offering to work with them, Steffy coming back to the office right after, and the way she's been coming onto him and talking to him about the takeover, and it should paint a pretty clear picture. But Carter no longer thinks with his brain if there's a woman within a country mile.

Sasha was all in on the Q's sticking their noses into Willow's business and trying to keep her kids away from her, but now she understands how rough things must have been for Willow because Monica bought her a freaking baby gift? And she can't be so stupid that she hasn't noticed before now that, despite his unwillingness to have the title, Jason is the golden child. Did she think that everyone would back off if they think Jason is the baby daddy? Especially Monica? She was just involved in all of the "we can't take Monica's great-grandchildren away from the house" shenanigans, and she didn't foresee Monica wanting to dote all over Jason's incoming spawn? I feel like every single thing about Sasha these days just serves as confirmation that Michael's sperm makes you stupid. Ava, come on. Why are you poking the bear? Do you want to torpedo this new uneasy peace you've managed to get to with Sonny? And I know Lucy values wealth and all, and she is looking for money for Deception, but how often have we seen her go on about how Deception is her baby, and how important it is to her? And she's just going to ignore all the warnings about Sidwell and let her company be tied to him? She's not going to do a lick of her own research? Not going to go talk to Lucky, maybe? Get his side of the story? Nothing?

Is she going to admit why she was there in the first place? Because Carter abandons his brains any time he touches a woman, so he's not going to question why she seems so confident she can broker a deal between him and the Forresters. So she's going to have to spell it out for him. Hope, no. Just, no. Seriously, Hope, no. Let her have him. I'm guessing he's not going to tell her that Luna is living it up at Bill's house. And then, eventually, Liam is going to find out, probably seeing Finn there with her at the same time, and he'll break land speed records to go tell Steffy on him. And how is Luna going to explain how she knows? They are really going all in on making Hope some evil temptress who manipulated control of FC into her own talons, aren't they? Hey! Bill is finally going to worry about some aspect of this absurd plan of his. Took him long enough.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Carter is a shitty character, especially as a romantic character. Pepe LePew didn't have to put very much effort into turning his head and getting that kiss. And I suspect that, now, it won't be much longer before he's all in with the asshole cabal in believing Hope drove everything, and he was just some poor patsy she took for a ride. It can't be a coincidence that the cracks are showing in Hope/Carter at the same time they're showing in Steffy/Finn. Hope/Finn was clearly their intention at one point last year, but they backed away. I suspect they're circling back around to them now. Steffy and Taylor sucked today. Acting like this is something Finn has done to Steffy. What happened to poor Finn who was taken advantage of by Poppy? Now, Steffy has one conversation with her mother, and it's all about how dare Finn do this to Steffy, and how does he expect her to handle it? At this point, we're just waiting for someone to call time of death on that marriage. Where is Brooke? Has she taken to her bed to grieve the loss of her hobo? Or did they decide that they didn't want to go too far in having her shit on her daughter, but, it's time for everyone at FC to shit all over Hope, so Brooke will just be not there? From the previews, Hope, no. Don't fight Pepe off. Let her have him.

When Steffy told Taylor that it wasn't about Hayes or Kelly, but it is about children, Taylor was probably thinking "do I need to buy you another black market baby?" Then when Steffy was dribbling the information out a little at a time, you know there was a point where Taylor was thinking that Finn cheated and has an affair baby. I was half expecting Liam to wander in when Finn was hugging Luna, so he could go running to Steffy just like he did when he saw him hugging Sheila. Can we maybe force the writers to rewatch the shit they've already written in the past? Example 1 - When Taylor was so horrified "I know she isn't biologically related, but, still, she's his aunt," again, I feel a need to remind the characters that Steffy had sex with her not biologically related uncle. Example 2 - Everyone acting like Hope drove all of this. Now she "brainwashed Carter"?? Carter pursued her. Carter pushed for them to be intimate ASAP instead of taking things slow. Carter vowed to fix everything when she was fired. Carter came up with the plan to take over the company. Carter executed that plan. And now Carter runs FC. Not to mention, he's clearly already feeling himself with Pepe LePew's flirtations. He is not even remotely close to being Hope's victim.

"Hope traveled back in time, got Finn and Poppy drunk, threw them in a bed together and then forced Poppy to lie about her baby's paternity!"

I thought she did a really good job at that, too. There was a moment, right after Jason pointed out that he would be stupid to try to use Drew as a fake alibi, because Drew would never lie for him, where it looked like Willow was having a moment of confusion, like she knew Jason was making sense. But it was like that thought couldn't fully surface, and then Drew's lies and Carly going at Willow combined to push that defiant thought down, and she ended up asking Drew to get her out of there, and then agrees to move in with him. I really hope this eventually leads to her getting some therapy and examining her past in the cult and how she may have escaped the cult, but she hasn't escaped being a bit like a cult member still.

I like Deacon, but, I had to roll my eyes when he called Luna a homicidal psychopath. Dude, do you not even remember who you're married to? If you can look past all of Sheila's crimes because you're in love with her, then you should be able to understand why Poppy wants to maintain a connection to her daughter. I know that Luna's crimes feel more personal to you, because her two victims were your friends, but Sheila's crimes were pretty freaking personal to Finn and Steffy, and I remember you trying to convince Finn to get past that and have some relationship with Sheila, so... Steffy was a lot today. Finn was saying he felt like, if he'd been there for Luna, she wouldn't have turned out like this. (And he's most likely right, since her crimes were tied up in her anger and confusion about who her father was). And she twists that into him saying he wants to spend time with Luna and thinks he can make a difference now. Then, she basically accuses him of passing crazy killer genes down to both Luna and Hayes. And, of course, Steffy is the biggest victim in all of this. For someone who is supposed to be this tough badass, she always defaults to victim mode. And she may have told Finn she's committed to staying with him, but it was clear from the look on her face at the end that she's going to be out the next time there's any mention of Luna. When Finn expresses concern, for example, that nobody knows where Luna is, she's going to be out. Hey, Beige? When the hobo tells you that you saved him, what he means you saved him from is his dick being lonely while he's mad at Brooke. I don't want Brooke to take him back, by any means, but I am going to laugh when he eventually tries to get her back, and the dishrag ends up with her broken little heart again. Their entire conversation today, about how wonderful and happy they are and about how amazing Steffy's marriage is, was like a big old neon "none of this is going to be true for long" sign. She ended up with Ryan. Josh did come back a time or two as Leo's ghost, but she ended up with Ryan. And they were one of the most annoyingly smug couples you could ever imagine. To put them in B&B terms, it would be like if Steffy was married to Steffy.

I think Buddig can be good, but this obnoxiously smug way they're writing Taylor plays into all of her worst acting traits. And, honestly, she hasn't been good in a romantic pairing since Greenlee/Leo on AMC. Not that anyone would be able to sell this pairing with Ridge.

I figured Steffy would turn this into something Finn has somehow done to her. And, there she went today "first you tell me Sheila is your birth mother..." Like, how is that his fault? Remy seems to be fanboying over Luna. Hey, Taylor, nothing says grand romance like the man you're desperately, pathetically hanging onto telling you, this early in your relationship, that he doesn't like getting up most mornings. Yeah, your love is really lighting up his world, isn't it? Then Taylor started talking about Steffy and Finn's wedding, like it was something she bothered to show up for. Once Sheila finds out that Luna is her granddaughter, Bill is going to want to move Luna anywhere but his house before she figures out where she is and starts dropping in 24/7. She's going to love the hell out of her little killer grandbaby.

She had a very little bit of interaction with him when he first came home. But it was pretty minimal, because Will was not happy about dad's new ready made family. I'm assuming her obsession with him now is because she sees being with him as the chance to still be a part of Bill's family.

The unintentional comedy gold was plentiful today. We had Carter smelling Pepe LePew the moment she walked into the outdoor restaurant. We had Steffy's over the top stupidity. I mean, we all knew she wasn't exactly Mensa material, but she really took the stupid to new heights today. That was some pretty basic math she was failing to even come close to figuring out. Then, we got JMW's bad telenovela reaction faces. TN was outacting her in those scenes. How she's won Emmys, I will never understand. Carter just sucks as a character. Let him fall in love with Pepe and ride off into the sunset. Or borrow Rena Sofer from GH for a couple days, and have Quinn come back and explain why she left. Maybe she found out she had cancer, and she didn't want to stay in town and have him and Wyatt watch her die, but she's in remission now, and she still loves him. Then they can leave L.A. together.

I don't think it was ever stated that Dante and Sam were the same age, and I always assumed she was older. It's been pretty heavily implied (and maybe even outright stated at some point, I can't remember for sure) that BLQ, Dante, and Cody were all in the same general age group. I'd say it's far more likely that he was around 17-19 when Gio was born.

I was waiting for Steffy to say "you slept with your aunt? I slept with my uncle! We have so much in common!" The only reason she's being so understanding and compassionate now is because it will make for an even bigger losing of her royal shit when she finds out about Luna. I can't decide if we're going to end up with a romantic Luna/Remy pairing, or if we're going to find out that he's another kid Sheila gave up at some point for some reason. But I feel pretty confident that, whatever the case, their initial storyline is going to be the two of them teaming up to split up Will and Electra. Poppy really needs to stop letting Li apologize all over her. It's going to make it so much worse when the truth comes out. I think he's usually decent to pretty good when they actually give him something to do. It's the dull Steffy's Husband shit they give him day in and day out that makes him look worse than I think he actually is.

If they have him really be Shiloh, that would be one of the more horrific things a soap has done to a woman. And soaps have done some pretty horrific shit to women over the years.

This is what I've been thinking. In general, since Covid, it seems like soaps aren't doing a ton of love scenes. So there's no reason for GH to do what they've been doing with BLQ and Chase. Instead of the flower petals on the bed, they could have had the path of petals lead to a cute little romantic table set up with a special dessert and champagne. Instead of a bed set, which a whole lot of couples don't have anyway, they could have a set for like a private sitting room connected to their bedroom, where they could sit and have private conversations. It's just weird to focus so much on them in the bedroom when they're not doing love scenes and BLQ isn't going to be in lingerie. Sure, it's unusual for a soap star to want to be so heavily covered all the time, but it's like the show is going out of its way to show that about her, when it's just not necessary.
